Arc 38Death and Rebirth
Yun Che fought the Heavenly Dao Council and Ji Bei, died after earning the Heavenly Dao’s reward, and was reborn as Niu Hun in the Immortal World. Starting over as a miner, he gained power and wealth, reached the Immortal City, and learned of a lucrative bounty for the stolen Heaven-Mending Pearl.
- Yun Che defeated the Other Universe vanguard and destroyed Lin Fan’s altar, but Lin Fan’s final strike left him with a wound that would not heal.
- Yun Che and his allies defended Dragon Country against the Heavenly Dao Council, and Ji Bei killed the Old Drunkard before Yun Che’s fighters forced the people he sought to protect to retreat.
- Yun Che and Ning Kongchen weakened Ji Bei, but Ji Bei’s forbidden technique and immortal spear left Yun Che seemingly dead.
- Yun Che revived by stealing supreme immortal energy, broke through to the Turbid Immortal Realm, killed Ji Bei, and learned that heaven and earth rejected him because his power threatened the Heavenly Dao.
- Yun Che killed himself to claim the Heavenly Dao’s reward, and his followers sealed themselves in the Domain Space while his immortal seed drifted beyond the Immortal World and rebirthed him as Niu Hun.
- Niu Hun worked in a Black Star Mine, subdued a Yin-Gathering Soul, killed a Mine Demon, and discovered a hidden cavern containing the Black Star Core.
- The Mine Foreman trapped Niu Hun in the cavern to steal the Black Star Core, but Niu Hun drained and killed him, then used the core to reach the first level of the Immortal Realm.
- Niu Hun entered the Immortal City and learned that the Immortal Alliance had offered a bounty for the thief who stole the Heaven-Mending Pearl from Orleans Market.
