Nathanos had not expected to talk with Durotan until late into the night. The progress had exceeded expectations. At the very least, Durotan now understood the predicament his clan was about to face. The Witherer had repeatedly emphasized that the Frostwolf Clan could not face the Iron Horde alone, unless they cooperated with the Draenei and people from another world.
Durotan did not accept his proposal, but he still thanked Nathanos for telling him so much. In return, he sent a capable assistant to treat Alexstrasza.
"Your friend needs help. My mother is the finest healer in the clan. She will certainly be able to help you."
Nathanos followed behind the old shaman. This elderly female orc was Thrall's grandmother and held an exceptionally high reputation among the Horde. He had heard that even Garrosh held her in great respect.
Come to think of it, the Frostwolf Clan had no one Garrosh hated, but it did have some of the few people he cared about. Would he still be willing to attack the Frostwolf Clan?
"Be careful. The ground in the cave is slippery." Geya'an moved swiftly, already leading Nathanos to the entrance of a cave. Powerful elemental fluctuations emanated from within. This was hardly strange; Orc clans always had their own places for conducting rituals.
A chill seemed to fill the cave, one that seeped through clothing. Nathanos tightened his hold on the Queen of Dragons in his arms and hesitated before asking, "What is this place?"
Geya'an turned back and gave him a reproachful look. "You came seeking help, stranger. Show some respect, and the elements will favor you."
When they reached the deepest part of the cave, the view suddenly opened up. Crystals growing from the stone walls provided natural illumination. Their light dotted a clear pool
