Today, he had first fought a bloody battle at Yunxiang Temple, then charged into the Lizardmen army before he could even catch his breath, and then fought Boha, a brute who could match him head-on.
After that, he had kept hacking away at these tough, powerful, hard-to-kill, foul-smelling Lizardmen until now.
"If I hadn't successfully copied Boha, this would have been even more trouble..."
Lin Hao looked at the Lizardmen who had nearly wiped out the Steppe Cavalry and were now obediently squatting off to one side, and let out a breath.
Could they have won if they had fought to the bitter end? They probably could have.
The numbers and quality of the Anxi Army and Northern Court Army were there, and he had held the enemy back for a while himself.
But once he exhausted his strength and withdrew, they would have had to pay for everything in lives. Even victory would probably have been narrow, or even pyrrhic.
Now, however, this could absolutely be called a complete victory!

These Lizardmen really were beasts. Hacking them down was utterly exhausting.
