Being forced by the Captain to sing for insects, facing that plump, gigantic Mother Bug and having to sing calmly beneath the scrutiny of its feelers, had truly been an enormous ordeal for Freya.
Even now, thinking of the Mother Bug's bloated, malformed appearance and the pressure she had felt merely from approaching it...
Freya felt that if the Captain had not blocked out some sort of aura, she might have gone mad just from staying there.

Lin Hao praised Freya.

Freya forced a cheerful expression, still managing a sweet smile.
Then she looked at the three distinctive giant insects following behind Lin Hao.
Each of the three was like a mountain. She had seen one of them before, floating above Penglai City. According to the city's residents, it was called a Brain Bug.
The other two resembled disgusting lumps of fleshy modeling clay, wriggling in the void. From time to time, tiny fleshy tendrils extended from their bodies.
Even with Freya's steady disposition, she had goose bumps all over as she followed Lin Hao back.
These were the fine things Lin Hao had obtained by taking Freya out to sing for payment.
A [Brain Bug] that had been cultivated for over a hundred years-not even counting its auxiliary linking and communication abilities, its psychokinesis alone already exceeded Divine Transformation strength. At its peak, it was probably not much weaker than Lin Hao himself!
It was stronger than the [Brain Bug] whose injuries had yet to heal.
It could serve as the Settlement's bodyguard in his absence.
The other two fleshy creatures were [Flesh Insects], which Lin Hao was currently unable
