Excitement surged through Jiang Lan, and he leaped into the cave.
He followed the passage inward. Spiritual energy crystals were clearly visible along the rock walls on either side.
But Jiang Lan did not linger here. Instead, he went straight into the main cavern, then headed toward the branching passages deeper inside.
Jiang Lan stood where he was.
Four passages lay before him.
The spiritual energy fluctuations in every passage were unusually active.
After getting a rough feel for them, Jiang Lan chose the one with the strongest fluctuations, bent down, and entered.
This passage was considerably narrower than the main passage and only a little over two meters high. In some places, he had to lower his head slightly to get through.
However, the crystals on these rock walls were considerably denser than those in the main cavern.
Large numbers of fist-sized crystals were packed tightly into the stone walls on either side, giving off a faint glow.
Jiang Lan perked up at the sight and reached out to start prying off crystals.
On the screen before him, the numbers jumped rapidly.

After making sure he had missed nothing, Jiang Lan went straight into the second branch.
The crystals in this passage were not as plentiful as those in the first, but there were still quite a few.
After he walked about thirty meters, the upgrade progress bar filled.
