Jiang Lan reached out and pushed the door.
Immediately afterward, something he had not expected happened.
He had thought the door might be impossible to push open or something.
Yet despite looking incredibly heavy, the door offered no resistance at all.
Even an ordinary person could have pushed it open easily.
As the door opened soundlessly, Spiritual Qi so dense it was almost solid washed over him.
Jiang Lan instinctively narrowed his eyes.
When he opened them again, an enormous chamber appeared before him.
The entire chamber was circular, with a hemispherical dome. Jiang Lan estimated that it was at least a dozen meters high.
It was made of the same material as the passage outside.
The difference was that the surrounding walls, like the door, were densely engraved with tiny patterns.
Most of those patterns had already gone dark, with only a scattered few still giving off a faint glow.
After studying the walls for a while, Jiang Lan shifted his gaze to the center of the chamber.
A raised platform about a meter high stood in the very center.
Above it floated a sphere the size of a fist.
There was nothing around the sphere, yet it remained suspended in midair.
The sphere was deep blue all over, its surface as smooth as jade, and it gave off a soft, dusky blue glow.
The light was not particularly bright, but it was especially eye-catching in this almost completely dark chamber.
Jiang Lan stared at the sphere for a while.
Magnetic levitation?
Or some kind of advanced technology?
Before he could think further, however, the floor around the platform caught his attention.
A collection of objects lay neatly arranged on the floor.
Good stuff!
Spirit Vein Ore!
Moreover, this Spirit Vein Ore was different from any he had seen
