Lin Fan helped Zhang Mu fulfill his family’s wishes and find hope while preparing for stronger supernatural threats. He handled a series of spirit-related cases and asked Han Bing to investigate reports of encounters across the country, then heard Mi Cai and Shen Yun’s plea for help with Shen Haiyun.

• Zhang Mu followed the old man’s spirit to reunite him with A Du and recover his S200 camera, then tried to fulfill the other spirits’ wishes by buying the little boy’s favorite noodles and taking the uncle for a drive.
• After a car struck Zhang Mu, he recovered in the hospital and grew closer to Nurse Meijia, while Lin Fan urged him to keep living and accept that he could still build a future.
• The four Spirit Bodies left Zhang Mu a note and food before departing, but Meijia’s dead father appeared to ask Zhang Mu to relay his wish for forgiveness.
• Zhang Mu nearly took his own life, but Lin Fan reminded him that Meijia was alone, and Zhang Mu confessed his feelings to her before remembering that the spirits were his grandfather, mother, and older brother.

Lin Fan rescued Shen Haiyun and Zhou Qiqi, helped Xiao Tuantuan save Liu Yanyu, and exposed Wang Qiangwei’s mistreatment of Niu Xiaohua. He then joined Daoist Weifeng at Five Spirits Mountain, where he sealed the Ancient Tomb temporarily as the Millennium Spirit Monster awakened and called out Feng Wuyou’s name.

• Lin Fan destroyed the opera-costume spirits, warned Shen Haiyun about Wang Baiyou, and later helped Zhou Qiqi expose her mother and Wang Dongxi’s plan to harm her.
• Lin Fan confronted the man in black over The Richest Woman Under Heaven’s black card, then identified soul insects as the cause of Liu Yanyu’s illness and sent Xiao Tuantuan to treat her.

Lin Fan destroyed the Millennium Evil Spirit after a fierce battle, then turned to helping cultivators and livestream callers while advancing toward Golden Core. His help led Bai Xiao to investigate Bai Zhen’s death, and the arc ended with Bai Xiao meeting Bai Zhen’s childhood friend at the school anniversary.

• Lin Fan prepared arrays around Five Spirits Mountain, then fought the Millennium Evil Spirit as it absorbed moonlight and sunrise essence and reached Golden Core Stage.
