Moon Shadow killed Mizuno Shu, ending the fight and preventing the Angel Descent Plan. Zhang Qiren abandoned the Black Dragon Society and returned to writing, hoping Moon Shadow would give him a chance to know her again.

• As the Magic Circle and Angel Descent Plan collapsed, most fighters fled, leaving Azhong's forces and Mizuno Shu's loyal followers to battle.
• Zhang Qiren realized his actions had ruined the plans he and Azhong had built in Japan, and quietly apologized to Azhong.
• Moon Shadow defeated Mizuno Shu by cutting through his air-pressure defense and killing him with the Shadow Blade.
• Moon Shadow offered to help Zhang Qiren rebuild his organization, but he refused and asked her to help Azhong subdue the remaining enemies.

As summoning formations activated around the world, Carl became the vampire progenitor Cain and flew toward Huaxia, where Chu Jiangliu intercepted him. Chu Jiangliu revealed that he had tracked Cain and prepared defenses, while Chu Ge watched from the book as the battle began.

• Chu Jiangliu coordinated Esper teams worldwide and focused Huaxia’s forces on stopping the High-Ranking Angels expected to appear there.
• Bill left North America after bringing Zhong Yi to the building, then activated a summoning formation in South America, where Carl transformed into Cain.
• Cain flew toward Huaxia but could not teleport past an invisible barrier, and Chu Jiangliu revealed that he had tracked him through a transformed ring.
• Chu Jiangliu told Chu Ge to find the hidden formations by observing changes in Spiritual Energy from the book, while Chu Ge and Qiu Wuji watched the confrontation.

Chu Ge and Qiu Wuji joined Black Tortoise in the North Sea, where Chu Ge killed the archangels Gabriel and Raphael and restored Black Tortoise’s final foot. Chu Ge explained that the Four Symbols could close Heaven and Earth, leaving the group poised to stop the gate from opening in the Central Plains.

Zhu Mengmeng helped Qiu Wuji trace the fate connections sustaining the other world while Chu Ge and the Four Symbols confronted its God. Chu Ge destroyed the passage and seemingly brought the other world to ruin, then collapsed as Qiu Wuji caught him.

• Zhu Mengmeng detected Qiu Wuji's approach, and Qiu Wuji praised her cultivation before asking her to locate the strongest fate connections to the other world.
• Chu Ge formed a Five Phases Four Symbols Formation and solidified a passage to the other world, then clashed with its God and declared that he intended to destroy that world.

After recovering from the battle, Chu Ge and Qiu Wuji confirmed that her original body had crossed into his world and decided to marry. They resolved the Gu God’s fate, finished the novel’s ending, and began a new chapter together as they prepared for their wedding and twins.

• Qiu Wuji comforted Chu Ge after he woke afraid their life together was a dream, and they decided to marry after realizing the passage between worlds was already stable.
