Lei'an dissipated.
Neo did not remain seated there to express or cultivate any emotions. Instead, he immediately turned into black mist and drifted down the mountain.
Lango had not brought troops over, and the Lost Ones on the island were being gathered up, so Mipos Main Island seemed rather empty now. Danger no longer lurked everywhere as it had in recent days. It was just a little quiet.
Rather than hurrying back to the cellar hideout, Neo first went to a pharmacy-not an island pharmacy that accepted Point Vouchers, but an ordinary one. After all, places associated with the Church's core areas must have already been placed under surveillance or looted.
After entering the ordinary pharmacy, Neo ignored the medicines on the shelves outside and went straight into the back. He soon found a hidden compartment containing quite a few prohibited drugs.
Even the fruit shop outside the Church Hospital in York City accepted Point Vouchers. There was no reason a pharmacy operating inside the Sacred Land would not secretly sell some prohibited drugs.
After clearing out all the prohibited medicines inside, Neo left and entered another shop, where he found some mother-and-baby supplies and picked up a child's toy as well-a stuffed puppy.
Before taking them out, he deliberately piled everything together, raised his hand, and gave them a round of "Order Purification."
"Who is it?"
Richard stood up warily.
"Me."
Hearing Neo's voice, Richard relaxed. Then Neo appeared and handed Richard one of the two bundles. He lay down on his own bedding, picked up a syringe, drew in three small vials of medicine, and stabbed it into his arm.
This was not a narcotic. It was not addictive.
It was extracted from fish that appeared near the Mipos Archipelago only at a particular time each year.
