Kallen rejected the God of Order’s revelation, awakened Earl Recar to save the Allen Family, and left the manor to build a life in York City. There he began work at Piaget’s clinic, encountered supernatural and personal crises, and learned that Pavaro had been arrested while investigating the contamination of his daughters and the exploitation of smuggled women.

• Kallen resisted the God of Order’s command, rejected its revelation, and concluded that truth had to be tested through practice.
• Kallen helped awaken Earl Recar, who rescued Judiya, Borg, and Eunice from Queen Gloria IX and then froze himself to preserve his remaining power.
• Kallen left Allen Manor after saying goodbye to the family and bought a duplex apartment in York City.
• Kallen refused an invitation to a Church of Light gathering, began working at Piaget’s clinic, and learned that Piaget dreamed of Mr. Bede guiding him into a new world.
• Kallen and Alfred survived a tram bombing, but Alfred suffered severe burns before Kevin’s urine unexpectedly helped heal him.
• Kallen treated Little John, discovering that the boy used psychokinesis to make people believe his dead mother was present.

Kallen pursued Pavaro and Annie’s investigation into the missing women, uncovering the Misu factory’s corruption and helping defeat Qi He. After Pavaro gave Kallen his face, Kallen received a mask that let him enter the Order God Church in Pavaro’s identity, then used Blood Spirit Powder to help Mrs. Lake’s daughters.

• Kallen learned that Pavaro and Annie’s investigation implicated Bluebridge Community, and after becoming a Divine Shepherd he continued the case despite the danger.
• Kallen and Alfred uncovered links between Tadel, the Raphael Family, and the missing women, while Gerson’s attacks drove the Light Remnants into flight.
• The Order God Church killed Pavaro and Annie, but Kallen awakened Pavaro, who warned him about the factory and offered him his position and a mask-maker’s contact.
• Kallen and his companions entered the Misu factory, found women confined as livestock, and confronted Qi He as Little John revealed his identity as the Source of Sin.
• Kallen awakened the dead women’s accumulated pollution, and Loya returned to defeat Qi He and free the women before merging into the Lax Copper Coin.
• Pavaro gave Kallen his facial skin and died, and Kallen used it with Lemar’s ring to create a disguise while considering how to follow Order behind a mask.

Kallen took over the Pavarro Funeral Society, joined the Whip of Order, and built his strength while handling funerals and uncovering threats around him. He was assigned to protect Ophelia, and the arc left them under attack by enemy forces and creatures emerging from Black Mist.

• Kallen introduced himself as Pavaro, negotiated a fifth-rank promotion with Vicolai, and took responsibility for the Funeral Society and Mr. Pavaro’s family.
• Kallen held funerals for Annie, Mr. Pavaro, and Elisa, while arranging care for the deceased and turning the Society toward serving nonhumans.
• Kallen joined the Whip of Order through Neo and received a Divine Servant identity card, then took in Elisa’s funeral after learning she had chosen suicide to prevent herself from attacking people.
• Kallen learned Sea God Armor and Dark Moon Blade, killed two Abyss Church members during a sting operation, and discovered that his spiritual reserves let him wield Arts from different Faith Systems without conversion losses.
• At Allen Manor, Kallen and Puer found paintings suggesting his Purification had triggered Divine Guidance for the Light Remnants, while Kallen grew closer to Eunice.
• Neo assigned Kallen to protect Ophelia, and Kallen identified her beneath a disguise before accompanying her to York City and Allen Manor, where she mourned Puer and pledged support to the Allen Family.
• As they traveled toward York City, enemy forces trapped the party, and Kallen and Ophelia fled with the others while Peige’s squad fought, and Ophelia rescued Kallen from an underground attack before destroying a giant centipede.

Kallen became an Inquisitor, entered a Symbiosis Contract with Puer, and discovered that Richard was his cousin while helping him join Neo’s squad. The squad’s assignment to protect the Pamireth Church’s Divine Son began with an attack on his ship and a confrontation with Bishop Byrne.

• Kallen killed Rook during the arrest operation, became an Inquisitor, and was promoted to Second Sequence in Neo’s squad.
• Kallen and Puer completed their Symbiosis Contract, awakening Allen Family powers that strengthened his Dark Moon Blade and Sea God Armor.
• Kallen discovered that Richard was his cousin, and Richard joined Neo’s squad as an unofficial member.
• Kallen lifted one of twelve seals on Kevin, saw a memory of the Sea God, and stopped the ritual when Kevin began to cry.
• Neo assigned the squad to protect the Pamireth Church’s Divine Son, while Old Saman told Kallen he planned to die after the talks concluded.
• Kallen welcomed Derius’s delegation, but the passenger ship exploded as it approached the pier.
• Neo drove back a huge finger that attacked through a black rift, and Kallen’s team escorted Derius to Ankara Hotel.
• Derius confronted Bishop Byrne over keeping him undercover for twenty years, and Byrne revealed that he was Derius’s father.
