Ch. 841A cat's vindictiveness

Kallen and Little Kangna searched the Ponsi family's dungeon for a way out and discovered a statue of Paul Allen that was gathering resentment beneath Ponce Manor. Meanwhile, Wukongjia agreed to investigate Kallen's disappearance, leaving the danger around Xidi and the manor unresolved.

  • Rohan struggled to repair the Seal Land formation, while Fudeng told Norton that Kallen had disappeared after meeting Xidi at Ponce Manor.
  • Xidi asked Wukongjia for help, and he agreed to go investigate after criticizing her for what had happened to Kallen.
  • Kallen and Little Kangna found a hollow chamber beneath the dungeon and recognized its statue as Paul Allen.
  • Kallen discovered that the statue was gathering resentment into magma and that it might erupt through its seal beneath Ponce Manor within a few years.

Ch. 842The cross-dressing Primordial Ancestor

Kallen and Little Kangna encountered a corpse resembling Puer, who believed herself to be Kallen’s ancestor and nearly destroyed the seal before Kallen calmed her. The corpse then changed under the influence of the Space Serpent-Qisath, which emerged and demanded that Kallen honor an old rescue agreement.

  • Thousand Enchantments returned, and her descent caused the statue’s head to move as a female corpse emerged from the book it held.
  • Little Kangna and Kallen fought the corpse’s layered fire and formation attacks, and Kallen trapped her with a bone barrier.
  • The corpse summoned a female version of Primordial Ancestor Allen, revealing why Puer had used a different identity to protect Allen Manor during her adventures.
  • Kallen summoned Primordial Ancestor Allen’s phantom, and the corpse recognized him and agreed to leave after Kallen claimed Xidi had admitted her wrongdoing.
  • The corpse began raising the statue to break the seal, but its runes failed and its eyes turned green as the Space Serpent-Qisath emerged.
  • Qisath took control of the corpse and asked Kallen whether Puer’s descendants had followed an ancestral instruction to rescue it; Kallen said Puer had apparently not taken the promise seriously.

Ch. 843Roommate!

Kallen and Little Kangna escaped Qisath’s attack in the dungeon until Temple Elder Wukongjia arrived, subdued the serpent, and destroyed Puer’s statue. Kallen returned to Ponce Manor, where Wukongjia revealed he intended to take Kallen as his student and recognized him as his old roommate.

  • The female corpse demanded Little Kangna and ordered Kallen to help break the seal, but Kallen resisted Qisath’s attack and fled with Little Kangna on Thousand Enchantments.
  • Kallen evaded Qisath while collecting one of its scales for Little Kangna, until a dark red beam and Wukongjia’s projection descended into the dungeon.
  • Wukongjia crushed Qisath, shattered Puer’s statue, and helped Kallen teleport out of the dungeon.
  • Kallen returned to Ponce Manor and asked the clerics to teleport him and Little Kangna to York City District.
  • Wukongjia told Rohan that Kallen would become his student, then silently recognized Kallen as his long-lost roommate.

Ch. 844Mink Street

Kallen returned from Ponce Manor and learned from Fudeng that he was expected to become Wukongjia’s student and lead Church Headquarters personnel in a dangerous operation at Rojia City. After hearing that the Divine Temple and Church Headquarters were preparing to deal with Grandfather, Kallen realized the assignment would send him to Mink Street.

  • Kallen returned to York City, sent Little Kangna home with the Snake Scale for examination, and went secretly to meet Fudeng and the High Priest.
  • Kallen recounted the events at Ponce Manor, and the High Priest and Fudeng discussed the elders’ conduct and Kallen’s conflict with Xidi.
  • Fudeng explained the Divine Temple’s structure and told Kallen that Wukongjia was likely to take him as a student so he could organize Church Headquarters personnel for a major operation.
  • Fudeng revealed that the operation concerned the forbidden secret at Rojia City, and Aoji’s sealed memories caused her to howl when he mentioned Rasma and Rojia City.
  • Kallen returned to his office and told Alfred that the Divine Temple and Church Headquarters were preparing to deal with Grandfather; he then concluded that the assignment would send him to Mink Street.

Ch. 845Descent!

Kallen learned that Wukongjia had recognized him and would come to meet him, while preparing for his role in the coming operation in Rojia City. Wukongjia arrived at the Discipline Department in a colossal golden Dharma Body, leaving Kallen and the whole of Vien Island facing his dramatic descent.

  • Kallen told Alfred that he suspected Wukongjia might have recognized him and accepted that he would become the elder’s student because the operation involved Mink Street.
  • Kallen discovered he was scheduled to attend a memorial ceremony at the First Knight Order Base and spoke with Xideluode about someone seeking a meeting.
  • Xideluode rescheduled the meeting for that evening, and Kallen realized Wukongjia would come directly to him.
  • Kallen waited in the garden with Alfred and Vic, then ordered Vic to open the barrier when Wukongjia’s immense golden radiance appeared.
  • Wukongjia descended into the Discipline Department in a towering Dharma Body, shaking the castles and drawing prayers across Vien Island.

Ch. 846Loyalty!

Wukongjia visited Kallen, made him his student, and revealed his plans to renew his life by pursuing a godhead fragment and a secret time-research project. After Wukongjia returned to his star, he spoke with the sealed skull of Raniedal about the gods’ return and the possibility that Raniedal’s original self would return as well.

  • Kallen welcomed Wukongjia informally, and Wukongjia explained that his long life had left him lonely and that he had sought Kallen because they had once been roommates.
  • Wukongjia made Kallen his student, probed him with mental suggestion, and concluded that Kallen would not sincerely side with the Divine Temple.
  • Wukongjia revealed that he hoped to obtain a godhead fragment to renew his life and offered to help Kallen pursue the High Priest Position in exchange for guarding his secrets.
  • Wukongjia told Kallen about a secret time-research project in York City District and arranged to hand it over to him.
  • After Wukongjia left, Kallen vowed not to let him take something belonging to the Immerlis Family.
  • Wukongjia spoke with Raniedal’s sealed skull, which said its original self could return and advised Wukongjia to kneel wherever that self did.

Ch. 847The First Knight Order

Kallen dreamed of Order’s enemies and a decaying divine figure before waking in tears, then prepared to attend the First Knight Order’s memorial with Alfred. The group reached the canyon entrance to the Order’s garrison, where Kallen paid respects to the monument bearing the knights’ oath.

  • Kallen dreamed that Fudeng, Rasma, Norton, and other figures confronted him before he saw a decaying deity and woke in his bedroom.
  • Kallen spoke with Little Kangna and Alfred, approved placing their people in Wukongjia’s project team, and declined a security squad from the Whip Bearer’s Office.
  • Kallen set out with Alfred for the First Knight Order’s memorial, while Philomina joined the security detail.
  • Kallen, Byrne, and Leon traveled together, and Byrne asked when Kallen would visit the Pamireth Church for its Church Venerable election.
  • The group reached the frozen canyon beside the Tribunal, where Kallen said Byrne was wrong about the church’s highest-ranking Tribunal and inquisitor.
  • Kallen got out before the canyon and paid respects to the monument inscribed with the oath to become Order’s final line of defense.

Ch. 848Are you ready?

Kallen attended the Order God Church’s mourning ceremony for the First Knight Order and witnessed the sleeping legion answer the High Priest’s address with signs of a coming battle. As Kallen found balance with the prayers converging on him, the legion’s dead comrades replied to his question with a unified vow of readiness.

  • Alfred studied the inscription’s calligraphy while Kallen and the others entered the sacred grounds, where Little Kangna secretly gnawed a chunk from the White Bone Giant Gate and used her power to restore it.
  • Fudeng examined Kallen and wondered how his soul had strengthened so quickly, but accepted Kallen’s claim that cultivation came easily to him.
  • Zhongtasen explained the history of the White Bone Giant Gate and the First Knight Order to Little Kangna and Aoji before the High Priest arrived and saluted the Awakeners’ memorial.
  • The High Priest began the ceremony as the pyramid’s veil rose, and the First Knight Order’s prayers and vows overwhelmed Kallen while coffins trembled and the Harvesting Horn sounded.
  • The High Priest declared that the Order God Church would defend Order to the death, while Kallen steadied himself and asked the figures within the pyramid if they were ready.
  • The dead First Knight Order answered Kallen with one unified shout: “Always ready!”

Ch. 849The Divine Artifacts' Welcome

At the memorial ceremony, Norton declared that the Order God Church would oppose the gods’ return, and Kallen later visited the Sealed Space headquarters with Byrne and Little Kangna. The chapter ended as Kallen entered Area B, where the divine artifacts were stored, and a girl’s voice ordered them to welcome him.

  • The First Knight Order answered Kallen’s question with a unified roar, and the Order Clerics took courage from their predecessors’ resolve.
  • Norton denounced the gods’ return as a catastrophe and declared that the Order God Church would stand against their descent.
  • Kallen told Byrne that the High Priest planned to end the Desert war by attacking one church with the Order God Church’s full strength, though they had yet to draw lots for their target.
  • Kallen visited the Sealed Space headquarters with Byrne and Little Kangna, where Vic arranged access to Area B.
  • Kallen opened the gate to the artifact hall, and a young girl’s voice called for everyone to welcome him.

Ch. 850A deluge!

Kallen visited the sealed space, chose Jimos and the [Guardian's Shield] for a long-term lease, and promised the Artifact Spirits freedom while asking them to develop a hidden route. The Spear of Eternity's Artifact Spirit, Michiōs, warned him that the gods’ return could bring back powers from distant eras and revealed that Norton intended to preserve the God of Order’s suppression at any cost.

  • Loya welcomed Kallen and introduced him to 107 trusted Artifact Spirits who hoped he would eventually free them.
  • Kallen promised the Artifact Spirits new bodies and relative freedom, chose Jimos and the [Guardian's Shield], and asked Loya to improve a plan for a concealed route out of the sealed space.
  • A silver halo summoned Kallen to a higher-level sealed area, where he met Michiōs, the Artifact Spirit of the Spear of Eternity.
  • Michiōs explained that gods who had not been barred from the era could still return, potentially including overlords from even more distant eras.
  • Michiōs warned Kallen that Norton knew the truth about him and would kill him to restore the God of Order’s power, then quoted Norton saying he would let the flood swallow the world after his death.

Ch. 851God's betrayal!

Kallen accepted that Norton might refuse to trust the returning God of Order, while Michiōs admitted he had hoped to unsettle him. As Norton used his own divinity to reveal the gods’ torment, Tyranus took control of him and declared that the gods’ lord had betrayed them.

  • Kallen told Michiōs that he understood Norton’s choices and would not reveal his identity, then left the sealed room.
  • Onist confronted the corgi about his wrongdoing and, after accepting that he had no chance left, decided to turn himself in.
  • Byrne warned Kallen that the attacks against him might be bait and gave him a file about an organization cooperating with Order God Church fundamentalists; Kallen ordered Byrne to deal with them.
  • Norton sensed a presence watching him at the Office Divine Temple and asked Tyranus whether he should trust his lord.
  • Norton pierced his brow, joined his divine aura with Base’s shell, and revealed images of Tyranus and other gods enduring torture.
  • Tyranus took control of Norton and roared that their lord had betrayed them.

Ch. 852Closing the net!

Fudeng met with the injured High Priest, who ordered him to surveil Divine Sons, their descendants, and associates of the lords’ first offerers. In York City, Kallen approved a large-scale operation against the Silent Ones and those plotting against him, then ordered the net closed.

  • Fudeng arrived at the Office Divine Temple, where Xisa sealed a corrupted divine bell with help from Fudeng and Kreid.
  • The High Priest told Kreid to plan a lottery ceremony and asked Zuoluofu to bring him a research report, then revealed his wounded face to Fudeng.
  • The High Priest ordered Fudeng to place Divine Sons, their descendants, and the associates and students of the lords’ first offerers under comprehensive surveillance.
  • Kallen spoke with Puer and Kevin about the recovered Blade of Sighs and Kevin’s remaining seal, while Puer assigned Little Kangna more homework.
  • Byrne briefed Kallen on a coordinated operation targeting the Silent Ones and hostile church factions, and Kallen approved the plan by ordering, “Close the net.”

Ch. 853He called me his roommate

Kallen traveled toward the Pamireth Church while the Whip of Order secretly arranged a sweeping crackdown on those plotting against him. The ambush around his carriage became a decoy, and the chapter ended with an Order Temple Elder revealing that he had come to help because Kallen called him his roommate.

  • Madam Tang Li urged Kallen to take her along, but he reassured her and departed with a sealed divine shield that Little Kangna claimed as a new schoolbag.
  • Kallen's carriage encountered an organized ambush, while Byrne and Vic coordinated the Whip of Order's plan to identify conspirators and begin arrests across the Order God Church.
  • Derius confronted Pengluofu and revealed that the people who had recruited him to oppose Kallen were actually Kallen's subordinates; Pengluofu refused to withdraw from the Church Venerable election.
  • Kallen's forces emerged around the ambush site, surrounded the attackers, and received orders from Little Stone to take no prisoners as simultaneous arrests began across the Order God Church.
  • Three golden-masked clerics confronted a man they believed was Kallen on a smuggler's island, but he revealed himself as a decoy while an Order Temple Elder named Wukongjia appeared in Kallen's place and called him his roommate.

Ch. 854Order's dominance

Wukongjia intervened when three Silent Ones clerics attacked Kallen, killing them with overwhelming force. Kallen arrived at the Pamireth Temple with Order’s forces, compelled the Church’s election assembly to begin, and had his rivals arrested under the Order Regulations.

  • Wukongjia destroyed the Eternal Staircase, the Towers of Light, and the night cleric’s curtain before killing all three Silent Ones clerics.
  • As Kallen rode to the Xiluosika Sacred Land, he told Little Kangna that removing corrupt people made him more hopeful and urged her to judge the Order God Church for herself.
  • Kallen bowed at the tomb of the former Pamireth Church Venerable, then demanded that the election assembly start immediately rather than wait until morning.
  • Wukongjia joined Kallen in the conference hall, where he revealed that the former Church Venerable might have faked his death and agreed to accompany Kallen to see him after the election.
  • Kallen ordered Andrew to arrest Pengluofu and the other remaining rival for violating the Order Regulations, then declared that the election could begin.

Ch. 855Kevin's enormous feast

Kallen and Wukongjia met Luo Zenuo, who revealed that a godhead fragment had bound him to a forgotten Pamireth branch god and asked the Order God Church for help. Wukongjia planned to use the crisis as a rehearsal for Mink Street, then promised Kallen a skull pendant from a Time-Taboo Deity, leaving Kallen concerned about what Kevin might gain from it.

  • Wukongjia and Kallen watched the Pamireth Church election end, while Derius heard an elder warn that small churches would face a harsher future under the orthodox churches.
  • Kallen, Little Kangna, and Wukongjia met Luo Zenuo, who revealed he had condensed a godhead fragment belonging to an erased Pamireth branch god and was struggling against its influence.
  • Luo Zenuo explained that the branch god feared Wukongjia enough to loosen its hold temporarily, allowing him to contact the Order God Church and ask it to help resolve his predicament.
  • Luo Zenuo warned Kallen that Derius had lost his way, then disappeared as the branch god began to stir; Wukongjia said the incident would serve as a rehearsal for handling Mink Street.
  • Wukongjia offered Kallen a skull pendant made from the remains of a Time-Taboo Deity, and Little Kangna eagerly imagined Kevin playing with it while Kallen worried about the effect of the new supplement.

Ch. 856Water for the crossing

After completing the Great Purge, Kallen returned to the Teleportation Hall to meet Puer, Earl Recar, and Kevin, who had brought back the [Blade of Sighs]. Kallen took hold of the blade and discovered that it could suppress the Hunger Addiction Sculpture within his soul.

  • Byrne left Vic to process the remaining case files, and the two exchanged farewells; Vic explained that their group could not yet treat Byrne as one of their own.
  • Alfred met Kallen and Little Kangna at the Teleportation Hall and learned that Puer, Kevin, and the others were returning sooner than expected.
  • Kallen waited with Alfred and Little Kangna, then greeted Earl Recar and Puer when they arrived with a sealed golden chest.
  • Puer revealed that Kevin was inside the chest restraining a dangerous blade, and Kallen opened it after setting up a temporary Isolation Barrier.
  • Kallen took the [Blade of Sighs] from Kevin, triggering the Chains of Order in his soul to restrain the Hunger Addiction Sculpture.

Ch. 857Byrne's death

Byrne met Kallen for a meal before returning to the Church Administration Building, where he expected to die from the pollution consuming him. Kallen revived him with the power of Order, leaving Byrne alive and overwhelmed as Kallen told him to keep working overtime.

  • Kallen found Byrne at a Vienese restaurant, told him that his father was alive, and discussed the God-Making Plan and Byrne’s impending death.
  • Kallen introduced Little Kangna and Kevin to Byrne, then sent them off with a message for Dali Wenluo and the Baldhead Party.
  • Byrne and Kallen went to the Church Administration Building, where Byrne worked while Kallen contemplated the relationship between gods, faith, and believers.
  • At the end of the workday, Byrne let the pollution consume him and died while praising Order and wishing Kallen’s dream were real.
  • Byrne opened his eyes again as Order’s law restored his life, and Kallen returned a pen to his hand and told him he had to work overtime.

Ch. 858We did it!

After Byrne revived, Kallen faced the accumulated prayers of countless Order followers and discovered he could shift their burden onto the Hunger Addiction Sculpture. He then recorded his understanding of the God of Order’s legacy, concluding that humanity had already changed the world through Order, even if the future remained uncertain.

  • Byrne revived and, despite his devotion to Kallen, stood rather than kneeling, then renewed his oath to Order as Kallen affirmed him.
  • Byrne insisted that Kallen had also been present in the hearts of countless devout followers, and Kallen was overwhelmed by their prayers before withdrawing to his office.
  • Kallen entered his soul swamp and accepted the prayers, causing the Hunger Addiction Sculpture to bear the pain instead of him.
  • Kallen returned to consciousness and began writing his reflections in the black notebook while Alfred watched and worried over his references to Vien miso and Baansi.
  • Alfred read Kallen’s conclusion that he might be the only possible new god in the current epoch, while Kallen rejected despair and declared that Order had already succeeded by changing the world.
  • Baansi narrowly avoided being crushed by a runaway truck, thanked the Lord for his protection, and unknowingly illustrated the ordinary human life the Order Church had helped preserve.

Ch. 859Divine Shepherd!

Kallen found the place for a god within his soul and bound himself to the Hunger Addiction Sculpture, beginning the transformation that would make him a Divine Shepherd. Meanwhile, Norton received a Divine Edict that renewed his strength and convinced Tyranus that the God of Order had returned, leaving Norton wondering whether his Lord had broken his promise.

  • Byrne stood guard outside his office as Kallen’s thoughts filled it with visible halos, and he reflected on his new role under Kallen’s leadership.
  • Kallen declared that Order’s legacy would endure even if the calamity destroyed its followers, and he thanked Norton for his guidance.
  • Tyranus tried to take control of the weakened Norton and urged him to help restore the Order God Church by summoning their ancient followers, but Norton rejected his plan.
  • A Divine Edict addressed Norton and restored his strength, causing Tyranus to celebrate the God of Order’s return while Norton questioned whether his Lord had gone back on his word.
  • Kallen bound himself to the Hunger Addiction Sculpture, stood atop it, and declared that a god’s place was beneath his feet as the sculpture began to take on his likeness.
  • Kallen promised the lonely God of Order that he would become him after the god had left, while refusing to worship or praise him.

Ch. 860Help you become a god again!

Kallen prepared to restore Kevin by returning his sealed divine remains and power, while his strength continued to grow and his family gathered at Allen Manor. The chapter ended as Kallen began the process of helping Kevin become a god again.

  • Alfred met Byrne at the Church Administration Building and arranged for him to take charge of the Church's intelligence network and projects, while Alfred decided to write a book.
  • Kallen traveled with Little Kangna to the Guman Family home, where Madam Tang Li examined his greatly increased strength and agreed to visit Allen Manor.
  • At Allen Manor, Kevin remained terrified of Kallen, while Eunice and Madam Tang Li talked and Little Kangna worried about her unfinished homework.
  • Kallen prepared to depart for Dinge District and reviewed plans for the Order God Church's Lottery Ceremony as sealed items for Kevin arrived.
  • Kallen asked Kevin whether he would betray him; Kevin reflexively nodded, then panicked, and Kallen began helping him become a god again.
