• Lin Luo received an SS rating for completing the previous instance, then joined a class gathering that drew him and the other students into the A-rank Mandragora Manor game.
• Lin Luo subdued the Ironwood Firs, protected Wen Hui, and secured a clean room for himself, Liu Yanyan, and Wen Hui by threatening the Maid Ghost.
• Lin Luo cured the Chef Ghost by replacing his heart and gained his friendship, then used his Ghost Power and Hell Torch to extort and control ghosts who entered his room.

• Brat Ghost killed Long-Tongued Ghost and tried to frame Lin Luo, but Lin Luo and Drunken Ghost defeated Purple Stiff before Lin Luo crushed Brat Ghost and bargained with Maid Ghost.
• Lin Luo traced Maid Ghost’s missing legs to Old Nanny, killed Old Nanny and Flower Demon, and defeated Shadow Ghost by destroying the streetlights sustaining him.
• Lin Luo returned Maid Ghost’s head and legs, reattached her legs, and accepted Fat Ghost’s banquet invitation despite Maid Ghost’s warning about the powerful butler.
• Maid Ghost assigned Lin Luo and the other players their jobs, and Lin Luo intimidated Sister Chen before fighting the Black-Haired Ghost in the men’s restroom.
• Black-Haired Ghost possessed Luo Yujuan, while Lin Luo defeated the thug ghosts who disrupted his cleaning and forced them to clean the restroom.

Lin Luo sought allies against the Alcoholic Ghost and stole Long Kui’s cat to secure Mandragora’s help. He won Long Kui’s protection as well, but she tasked him with stealing the Black Pearl Berry from Tianqin, and his journey brought him into conflict with a Flaying Ghost.

• Poppy rejected Luo Tong’s request to attack Lin Luo and dismissed him as her driver.
• Luo Tong sacrificed his soul for power and revenge through Luo Yujuan, while Drunken Ghost warned Lin Luo that Ghost Mask was probably possessing her.
• Lin Luo secured the Maid Ghost’s help against the Alcoholic Ghost and gave Poppy Healing Nectar to strengthen their alliance.
• Mandragora demanded that Lin Luo steal Long Kui’s little wildcat before she would help him fight the Alcoholic Ghost.
• Lin Luo befriended Kitten with Fangtooth Fish and a Sunflower Seed, destroyed Puppet, and killed the Hanged Ghost who served as Zi Qin’s mole.

After Ghost Mask’s death triggered Alcoholic Ghost’s mobilization, the fifth-day Cat-and-Mouse Game began, and Lin Luo’s allies confronted Alcoholic Ghost at Zither Dwelling.

• Lin Luo burned the Flaying Ghost to ashes, then defeated Thunder Ghost’s forces with paper doppelgangers and collected 20,000 Ghost Coins to settle their grudge.
• At Zither Dwelling, Lin Luo repaired Slit-Mouthed Woman’s mouth and helped her fight Burned-to-Death Ghost, then promised Tianqin he would compensate her for the ruined garden.
• Lin Luo cured Tianqin’s Insect Egg Curse and killed the Ghost Snake guarding the Black Pearl Fruit Tree, then recruited Tianqin, Long Kui, Mandragora, Poppy, Chef Ghost, and Maid Ghost to oppose Alcoholic Ghost.
