Arc 4The Ruined Temple's Warning
The Ruined Temple repelled a Heavenly Court and Western Religion attack, then helped Daji purge Chaoge of infiltrators and strengthened Yin Jiao. As Randeng's plan drew Zhao Gongming into the tribulation, Zhao was ambushed and forced to flee after losing the Sea-Calming Divine Pearls.
- Yuan Hong defeated Taiyi Zhenren at Three Mountains Pass, driving Xiqi's army into retreat and returning with the Yin-Yang Swords as spoils.
- Gu Changqing rewarded Yuan Hong and the Six Monsters of Mount Mei with formation knowledge and inheritances, while Great Shang's fortune rose after the victory.
- The Jade Emperor and Daoist Maitreya led the Heavenly Punishment Army in a surprise attack on the Ruined Temple, but its defenses erased the soldiers and destroyed the Haotian Mirror Emperor Shadow.
- Gu Changqing spared Maitreya after crippling him and sent him back to warn the Jade Emperor and Zhunti, prompting the Heavenly Court and Western Religion to seal off Guanjiangkou.
- Daji called on the Ruined Temple for survival, learned the Heaven-Swallowing Demonic Jar art, and devoured infiltrators before surviving Nuwa's Golden Edict.
- Yin Jiao ordered Daji to purge Chaoge without harming innocents, and the purge strengthened Great Shang's fortune until Nuwa withdrew from intervening.
- Gu Changqing sent Yin Jiao the Human Emperor World-Suppressing Codex as Randeng prepared a formation to massacre Shang soldiers and draw the Interception Sect into the tribulation.
- Zhao Gongming rode to the Xiqi frontier to protect the Shang army and battled Randeng and the Golden Immortals, but Randeng seized his Twenty-Four Sea-Calming Divine Pearls and killed his black tiger, forcing Zhao to escape by blood evasion.
