Zhao Gongming and the Three Xiao gained new power at Guanjiangkou and defeated the Twelve Golden Immortals, provoking Yuanshi Tianzun to attack them and then the Ruined Temple. Gu Changqing confronted Yuanshi at the temple and severed his connection to the Heavenly Dao, cracking his Saint Soul.

• Xiaotian Dog rescued the gravely wounded Zhao Gongming and brought him to the Ruined Temple, where Gu Changqing taught him to rebuild his power through twenty-four inner worlds.
• Zhao Gongming reclaimed the Sea-Calming Divine Pearls from Randeng, then brought the Three Xiao to Guanjiangkou, where Gu Changqing bestowed new abilities on Yunxiao, Qiongxiao, and Bixiao.
• Zhao Gongming and the Three Xiao confronted the Twelve Golden Immortals, and Bixiao shattered Guangchengzi’s Three Flowers and five qi with Heaven-Slaying.

Gu Changqing’s warning made Yuanshi Tianzun retreat from Guanjiangkou, while Kong Xuan joined Gu Changqing’s disciples and gained a transformed Five-Colored Divine Light. Tongtian broke with the Heavenly Dao and trapped the Four Saints in the Immortal Slaying Sword Formation, where the battle left them facing a deadly collapse.

• Gu Changqing stopped Yuanshi Tianzun from advancing on the Ruined Temple, and Yuanshi retreated as the Twelve Golden Immortals remained trapped and Great Shang drove Xiqi toward Golden Rooster Ridge.
• Kong Xuan defeated Xiqi’s attackers at Golden Rooster Ridge, resisted Zhunti, and traveled to Guanjiangkou, where Gu Changqing made him his fourth direct disciple and taught him to transform his Five-Colored Divine Light.
• Tongtian returned to Biyou Palace, revealed the Interception Sect’s destined destruction, and led his disciples to reject Heaven and the Dao before establishing the Immortal Slaying Sword Formation at Jiepai Pass.
• Taishang Laojun, Yuanshi Tianzun, Jieyin, and Zhunti confronted Tongtian, who declared that he would break the false Heavenly Dao and create a new heaven and earth in honor of Gu Changqing and his master’s teachings.

Tongtian defeated the Four Saints, rejected Heavenly Dao Sagehood, and was saved from Hongjun by Gu Changqing’s talisman. Yin Jiao reclaimed the Nine Provinces for Great Shang, while the Western Teachings’ attempt to seize Humanity’s fortune brought them into conflict with Kong Xuan and Zhunti.

• Tongtian defeated Zhunti, crippled Jieyin, drove Yuanshi Tianzun into Chaos, and stripped Taishang Laojun of his Sage standing.
• Hongjun tried to imprison Tongtian, but Tongtian shattered his Heavenly Dao Sagehood and rebuilt his strength through his own Great Dao.
• Gu Changqing used a ripple of power and Tongtian’s Jade Talisman to stop the Heavenly Dao Wheel, forcing Hongjun to retreat.
