Why was only Hell safe?
Shen Ye sank into thought.
I didn't see any surveillance cameras when I was in the Nightmare World, either.
Big Skeleton had thought of the same question and said in puzzlement:
"How strange. I don't understand why we're only safe in Hell!"
"Neither do I," Shen Ye said.
"Then what do we do now?" Big Skeleton asked.
"Do you want to avenge your mother?" Shen Ye asked.
"Yes! Not only that, I want to take back everything I lost!" Big Skeleton said.
"Good. Then use this Nightmare Crystal. Once you've mastered the skill, see if you can take me along," Shen Ye said.
Big Skeleton emerged from the Ring, reached out a bony claw to grasp the crystal, and crushed it.
A mist shimmering with golden light rose and enveloped him.
The mist kept pouring into his body.
Shen Ye waited beside him, bored out of his mind. Suddenly, the Magic Letter Paper in his pocket stirred.
He unfolded the paper and saw Prince Norton's handwriting appear on it:
"My father has ordered me to return to the Imperial Capital immediately."
"After I leave, you must continue your investigation. You must uncover the Undead Empire's secret!"
"If you delay, it'll be too late!"
"-I left the secret key to the teleportation array in the potted plant in my room."
"The incantation is 'Norton's trust decides everything.'"
"No one will enter my room today, and I've instructed all the guards that you may come freely and must not be stopped."
After reading it, Shen Ye couldn't help shaking his head.
The undead already knew about that teleportation array. It had become a trap.
I'm certainly not going there to die.
