Elsewhere.
In the grotto.
The Biochemical Clone suddenly stood up and said:
"A monster with overall combat strength at the fourth level of the Dharma Realm is climbing up from below the cliff. I have to deal with it."
Xiao Mengyu looked at the robot with a complicated expression. After some thought, she said:
"Is there anything else you want to tell us? I'll pass it on to Shen Ye."
"Of course."
The Biochemical Clone walked over to her, took a chip out of its chest, and placed it in her hand.
"What's this?" Xiao Mengyu asked.
"This is my save file-the real me."
"The real you? Then who's talking to me?"
"A little combat program I wrote is controlling this body now. Please give the save file to Shen Ye. That way, I can survive. Thank you."
With that, the Biochemical Clone turned around, accelerated out of the grotto, and plunged downward.
One breath.
Two breaths.
Three breaths.
A deafening explosion suddenly erupted below.
Waves of heat surged upward along the rock face.
Loose stones kept falling.
-it was as though the end of the world had come.
Xiao Mengyu carefully put away the chip and glanced back at Shen Ye.
Shen Ye was still unconscious.
"Guo Yunye," Xiao Mengyu said.
"What?" the husky asked.
"The explosion might attract more monsters... Go save yourself. I'll stay here," Xiao Mengyu said calmly.
"No way!" The husky nearly jumped up.
"The monsters here are too strong. I'm afraid we'll all be wiped out," Xiao Mengyu said.
"If we die, we die together! We're brothers. Who gives a damn!" As the husky spoke, he raised his head and let out a wolf's howl.
Smack.
Xiao Mengyu slapped him.
"Quiet! Aren't you afraid of attracting monsters?"
"Awoo..."
The husky obediently lowered his head.
