Li Tie, Li Tie, and Yang Tianlong came out too.
They ran over, all of them smiling.
He spoke as he walked over.
He set it on the lawn.
He ran over with a sly grin.
It was also called Demon Moon.
Its flavor was bold without being harsh.
Its fruity notes were mainly dark fruit, dried fruit, and nuts.
The alcohol content was fairly high too.
Li Yu's heart ached so badly it twinged.
"Everyone wants a drink," Li Hang said with a cheeky grin.
He was so calm he hardly seemed human.
Now they finally got to see Li Yu's human side.
"Good stuff should be shared. We all want a taste."
Yang Tianlong and the others beside him chimed in.
He had Li Hang put down the Moonlit Brew Beer.
He had also gotten several enormous refrigerators.
It was still chilled.
He opened the bottle and poured it into a glass.
A faint aroma of caramel and malt rose from it.
It flowed down his throat.
The fragrance lingered in his mouth.
It was coated in red chili oil.
He chewed gently.
He lit a Huazi cigarette.
He slowly exhaled.
He was just about to light a Huazi cigarette.
Li Yu slapped him.
Li Yu cursed.
He was just about to say, "You fucking smoke too."
He was afraid of getting beaten.
Then he lay down.
They also wanted to know what Li Yu was thinking.
"I've never really had any grand ambitions."
His smile faded.
"To lead everyone through the apocalypse and live a little more comfortably."
"People can be monsters sometimes too."
"I don't know if you can understand."
"You should be careful not to become a monster yourself.
"The abyss is also gazing into you."
Li Tie and the others listened intently too.
"If your conscience still bothers you, then convince yourself."
"Convince yourself a few more times."
"Go wash up and get some sleep."
Apparently, that worked too.
He fell silent for a while.
"I don't really trust other people.
He breathed a sigh of relief.
"You're more effective than I am."
Smiling, Li Yu clinked glasses with Yang Tianlong.
He raised his glass too.
He joined in and raised his glass as well.
Everyone clinked glasses.
It was as though their spirits had suddenly eased considerably.
It seemed to strip away everyone's exhaustion, bit by bit.
Li Yu savored that sense of ease.
Wasn't this what he had been seeking?
Even sleeping had kept him on edge.
A faint scent of osmanthus drifted over on the breeze.
He had been persuaded.
He breathed a sigh of relief.
But they were just too clingy.
He saw that there was still some blood on the back of his neck.
He rinsed it clean with the showerhead.
Then he went downstairs to get a bottle of craft beer left over from their drinks earlier.
He lay straight down in the bathtub.
It fluttered in the wind.
There stood the towering perimeter wall.
Li Yu felt a little more at ease.
Sound of Silence.
Only then did his heart slowly grow quiet.
He seemed to relax too.
It felt like coming home, showering, and lying in bed playing games and reading novels.
