• Xu Le questioned Xie Wenjie about Seeds of Pollution and Wang Man, then killed him and raised his Black Staff to +3.
• Xu Le visited Night Fiend, told her a story, and learned that the other Children of Guyinduo could not yet descend, but Fate and Lightforging posed threats.
• Wang Man saw new images in her notebook and was drawn into a golden realm containing a vast head pierced by golden branches.
• The head identified itself as Lightforging and said Fate had arranged Wang Man's arrival.

Xu Le learned from Wang Man that Lightforging was imprisoned in Lighthouse’s Golden Radiance Tree, then discovered that the Arts Troupe had been killed and his allies were badly poisoned. He tracked Warlock Luo to a hotel, where Wang Shu’s ambush began with a shot that struck Luo’s crystallized temple.

• In the Land of Darkness, Night Fiend warned Xu Le not to let pride blind him and told him to do what he wanted to do.
• Xu Le used the Black Staff to help Wang Man speak about seeing Lightforging, and learned that Lightforging was trapped in a tree at Lighthouse.
• Xu Le learned that everyone in Wang Man’s Arts Troupe had died and visited the poisoned Xu Lei, Li Qingcheng, and Xu Ting; he promised Xu Ting he would kill Guyinduo Offspring.
• Xu Le persuaded Secretary Liu to reveal Warlock Luo’s location, while Minister Li Wen allowed him to pursue the matter.
• At the Jinwang Express Hotel, Ge Sini approached Room 205 in disguise and Wang Shu knocked Warlock Luo down before an Energy Bullet struck his crystallized temple.

Warlock Luo fought Wang Shu, Ai Li, and Xu Le’s forces while trying to escape Zion, but Xu Le’s ambush overwhelmed him. Luo used Solidification to become an immobile statue, and Xu Le placed his Fantasy-Filled Ledger on his head.

• Wang Shu disguised himself as a street thug, ambushed Warlock Luo with a Broken Blade, and fought him until Luo escaped amid the crowd.
• Ai Li followed Luo and joined the attack, while the hidden sniper Xu Le repeatedly shot him and helped drive him toward the Airship District.
• A disguised driver trapped Luo in a Steam Car, and Ai Li attacked him after an explosion launched him into the air.
• Xu Le and Ai Li cornered Luo with water and gunfire, but Luo escaped through a Boundary-Crossing Gate into Xu Le’s armed horde of Guyinduo Oddities.
• Xu Le’s forces battered Luo until he used Solidification, and Xu Le placed his Fantasy-Filled Ledger on Luo’s head.

Xu Le captured Warlock Luo, learned how the Guyinduo Mark forced its bearers to submit, and brought him to Xia Libo for surgery to remove it. After delivering a deliberately elaborate apology to Li Wen, Xu Le proposed eliminating all Guyinduo Offspring and discussed a concrete plan with him.

• Xu Le broke Warlock Luo’s petrification, disabled him, and used Heart Energy to make him experience overwhelming sorrow before questioning him.
• Warlock Luo explained that the Guyinduo Mark could turn its bearers into Oddities, forcing even clearheaded people to submit to the Children of Guyinduo to preserve their sense of self.
• Ai Li failed to catch the people watching the group, and Xu Le returned to the Zion Progressives Building with Warlock Luo.
• Xu Le asked Xia Libo to operate on Warlock Luo and remove his Guyinduo Mark, while Wang Shu and Ai Li stayed to assist.

Xu Le secured Li Wen’s backing to build the Furnace, a project intended to release and use Ancient Yin Duo Energy, while Li Wen’s forces cleared Area 3 to make room for it. As the Bright Soap Factory took shape and Xia Libo’s team designed the enormous Furnace, Xu Le asked to plant a tree at its core.

• Xu Le gave Li Wen a proposal for the Furnace, and Li Wen agreed to provide funding, research staff, and a site while keeping the project secret.
• Wang Man mourned the lives lost in the Black Tide and told Sha about her history with Xu Le, then suspected Sha had an agenda of her own.
• Xu Le waited with Ding Ke for Ai Li to finish work, and Ai Li later escorted him home after they ate together.
• Li Wen’s forces cleared illegal businesses from the outskirts of Area 3, and a guarded, mined site called the Bright Soap Factory began construction.

Xu Le began training beneath the Soul Tree and ate the Angel Fruit, while Gu Beichen became an Owl member and volunteered for a mission in Zion. The chapter ended with Xu Le seeing the moon after tasting the fruit.

• Xu Le chose to place a tree at the core of his furnace design, and Xia Libo agreed to persuade the other researchers.
• Gu Beichen hid his Level 3 strength during training at the Red Moon Holy Temple, then received membership in Owl alongside Luo Na.
• Gu Beichen volunteered to join a nine-person Owl mission to Zion after learning that a councilor there had requested support.

After eating the Angel Fruit, Xu Le gained a Full Moon Mark and learned that it made him feel like a Red Moon Creature. He planned to place a branch of the Soul Tree in a furnace and asked Yan Luo to guard it, then discovered that his mark had appeared on a scaffold as a bloodshot eyeball.

• Xu Le absorbed the moonlight within the Otherworldly Space and returned to find that he had gained a moonlike mark instead of angelic power of flesh and blood.
• Yan Luo sensed that Xu Le felt like a Red Moon Creature, while Xu Le announced he would detach a Soul Tree branch for a furnace and persuaded Yan Luo to guard the separated tree.
• Xu Le showed Ding Ke his Full Moon Mark, and Ding Ke explained that similar marks granted some full moon power and enhanced Spell Formulas.
• Xu Le's mark imprinted itself in reverse on a scaffold, causing his right eye to show a nearby alternate view and glow red.
• Xu Le checked the scaffold and found that the mark had vanished, leaving a bloodshot eyeball in its place.

Xu Le awakened Red Sha after gaining an Angel mark, but his first attempts to test its strength went badly. He taught Wang Shu how to condense Sha, while Gu Beichen and Luo Na arrived in Zion to search for Xiong Nuo’an, whose portrait resembled Xu Le.

• Xu Le controlled the Angel mark’s Peeping Mark, then fell asleep as Red Sha spread around him and his body underwent a painful transformation.
• Xu Le woke covered in foul-smelling substances, discovered he had gained muscle, and accidentally collapsed the temporary shower room with energy bubbles.
• Ai Li reprimanded Xu Le, who later tested his Red Sha against Wang Shu and was sent flying by the Level 3 Warrior’s punch.
• Xu Le explained how to condense Sha, and Wang Shu immediately awakened it through his Doll’s mark.

Gu Beichen and Luo Na searched the Zion Progressives Building for Xu Le, drawing the attention of Zion’s armed security. When Secretary Liu confronted them, Gu Beichen claimed the Red Moon Holy Temple had been hired to come to Zion and realized the guards were acting to protect Xu Le.

• Wang Qing hired Luo Na and Gu Beichen to find Xiong Nuo'an, whose mask, suit, and shoes had been bought near the Zion Progressives Building.
• At the building, Gu Beichen asked the receptionist for Xu Le, and the receptionist contacted someone after recognizing the name.
• Luo Na noticed the lobby was emptying and warned Gu Beichen just as Secretary Liu arrived with law enforcers and three warlocks.
• Secretary Liu asked why they were looking for Xu Le, explaining that Zion was protecting the researcher after a previous attack.
• Gu Beichen pulled Luo Na behind him and claimed the Red Moon Holy Temple had been paid to come to Zion, then deduced that Zion's people were protecting Xu Le.

Secretary Liu brought Gu Beichen to Xu Le and Wang Shu, reuniting the old friends and revealing that Gu Beichen had joined Owl. After Gu Beichen returned to the Wang Family with Luo Man, Owl received a new assignment to investigate an organization called Fated Death.

• Secretary Liu questioned Gu Beichen about his search for Xu Le, then took him to the Bright Soap Factory to verify his connection to Xu Le and Wang Shu.
• Xu Le and Wang Shu reunited with Gu Beichen, who explained that Wang Qing had hired Owl to find Xu Le after tracking him through sparse clues.

Xu Le reunited Warlock Luo with his daughter, then drove with Ai Li to visit Li Wen, but a divination attack forced them to head toward a crowded area.

• Wang Xi gave Owl documents identifying Wang Shu and members of Xu Le’s group, then offered extra payment to capture them or kill them if necessary.
• Gu Beichen recognized Wang Shu and Xu Le’s summons in the documents, concealed his concern, and told Wang Qing that Xiong Nuo’an would contact him.

Xu Le and Ai Li were ambushed by two Owl warlocks, and Xu Le fought the female puppeteer while Ai Li faced her companion. Xu Le killed the puppeteer after the Red Moon Attendant unexpectedly turned against its summoner, leaving the reason for their connection unclear.

• Xu Le burned the documents, used Fateweaving-Forest to conceal the car, and abandoned it when Owl’s warlocks pursued them.
• At a public communicator, Xu Le dodged the puppeteer’s paper birds while Ai Li used God of Division to escape the Red Moon Warlock’s attack.
• Xu Le summoned Thorn and lured the puppeteer toward an alley, then shot through her substitute puppets with the Lord of Slaughter.

Xu Le and Ai Li killed two Red Moon Holy Temple Warlocks who attacked them, then returned to the Bright Soap Factory as the rest of the Owl group investigated their identities. Gu Beichen revealed that Wang Xi had hired the group to target them, and Xu Le began planning to lure the remaining Warlocks into a trap.

• Xu Le killed the captured Red Moon Warlock after he and Ai Li defeated their two attackers, then took Ai Li to the Bright Soap Factory.
• Three Red Moon Holy Temple Warlocks examined the battlefield, identified clues linking Ai Li and Xu Le to the fight, and learned about their ties to Li Wen.
• Gu Beichen left Luo Na during her divination and met Xu Le and Ai Li at the factory, where he warned them that Owl was targeting them.
• Gu Beichen explained that Wang Xi had hired Owl to capture or kill the members of Fated Death, and Xu Le realized Wang Xi was connected to Wang Qing and the Guyinduo Offspring.

• Gu Qi and Zhou Di received conflicting divinations about the Bright Soap Factory, but Zhou Di’s later draws matched Gu Qi’s Coin card, leading him to believe fate was guiding them toward Fated Death.
• Xu Le sent Ai Li to prepare a car, asked Wang Shu to bring Xia Libo, and used his Spirit Energy to place the Yan Luo Fruit in the Furnace as a final layer of protection.

Meanwhile, Luo Na infiltrated the Bright Soap Factory, defeated Warlock Luo, and encountered Yan Luo; the chapter ended as Gu Beichen and Zhou Di launched attacks on Ai Li.

• Xu Le repeatedly drew [White Card - Coin] and realized that fate could interfere with Guyinduo Card divination and affect Red Moon Warlocks.
• As the cars neared the Red-Light District, Zhang Pei, Gu Qi, Chang Yu, Nuo Yi, and Zhou Di debated whether to join Gu Beichen’s attack, while Nuo Yi seduced Zhou Di.
• Luo Na bypassed the Bright Soap Factory’s guards with a Spell Formula, entered the Furnace Hall, and defeated Warlock Luo with Heart Energy Explosion.

Zhou Di manipulated the mission to sacrifice Chang Yu and forge a new path to advancement, while Xu Le and the Zion Law Enforcers fought the Red Moon Warlocks. After Zhou Di’s betrayal left his companions surrounded, he escaped with Nuo Yi, convinced the failed mission had revealed the nature of Fate and his path forward.

• Ai Li’s sudden heart pain prevented her from dodging Gu Beichen’s Flame Line, and their fight drew the others’ attention.
• Gu Qi noticed that the nightclub crowd’s Heart Energy and behavior were unnatural, admitted the divination was wrong, and persuaded Zhang Pei and Chang Yu to withdraw.
• From a rooftop, Zhou Di summoned an angel and used the [White Card-Four-Leaf Clover] to direct an arrow at the disguised Law Enforcers, triggering their attack on Zhang Pei, Chang Yu, and Gu Qi.
• Wang Shu blocked the Warlocks’ escape with grenade-laden branches, while Xu Le and Ai Li joined the Law Enforcers in fighting them; Chang Yu drank a potion and transformed into Demon Form.

Xu Le and the Zion Enforcers defeated Chang Yu, Zhang Pei, and Gu Qi, but Gu Qi’s final card and Xu Le’s sense of fate led him to call on Lord Night Fiend for help. The chapter left Xu Le approaching the floating [Black Card-Jewel] under Night Fiend’s protection, while Yan Luo waited at the Bright Soap Factory with the injured Luo Na.

• Chang Yu used the Touch of Rot to kill Enforcers and himself after Xu Le and Ai Li wounded him, and he warned Ai Li about the risk of being betrayed.
• Xia Libo and Wang Shu defeated Zhang Pei, with Xia Libo capturing him as he tried to escape through a Spatial Gate.
• The Enforcers killed Gu Qi after Xu Le ordered them to fire, and Gu Qi’s [Black Card-Jewel] floated into the air.

Xu Le killed Luo Na’s apparent body and marked her mental world with the Soul Tree, but Luo Na revived elsewhere and returned to Wang Xi’s group. As Wang Xi offered to request Red Moon Holy Temple support, Luo Na realized the mission had concealed another purpose.

• Xu Le questioned Luo Na, recognized that she relied on [Black Sheep Girl]’s reverse ability, marked her mental world with the Soul Tree, and shot her dead.
• Xu Le told Li Wen that the Bright Soap Factory needed stronger protection, and Li Wen agreed to station Secretary Liu there while saying Wang Xi was difficult to target.
• The real Luo Na woke at an inn, checked herself for Xu Le’s mark, disguised her appearance, and waited for Gu Beichen.

• Wang Xi agreed to reimburse Gu Beichen, Zhou Di, Nuo Yi, and Luo Na for resources they had spent, while Gu Beichen provoked Nuo Yi and Luo Na challenged Zhou Di.
• Xu Le concluded that the attackers and factory thieves shared a goal connected to Li Wen, then delivered the surviving warlock Zhang Pei to Secretary Liu.

• Xia Libo and the researchers saw the Furnace consume Level 1 and Level 2 Oddities, then kill a Level 3 Red Mushroom Demon Fang at the core door.

• Xu Le showed Moen, Aqi, and Gude the Radiance Soap and said his team could make nine bars in one night from Guyinduo Oddities.
• Xu Le declared that he wanted to become a councilor, and Moen and Gude pledged their support after Aqi refused to back him.
• Xu Le named the invention the Guyinduo Technology Core, and Moen proposed using it to power Zion’s equipment during the coming Black Tide before announcing its role in the battle.

Wang Xi's team attacked the Bright Soap Factory to destroy the Furnace and kill Xu Le, while Xu Le's people prepared to defend it. The Furnace activated on its own and began consuming the intruders, leaving Yan Luo wondering why the resulting motes of light were yellow.

• Gu Beichen warned Xu Le about Wang Xi's approaching team and told him that Luo Na was among the pursuers, asking him to go easy on her.
• Xu Le ordered the factory's defenses prepared, while Wang Shu armed himself and Ai Li readied for a fight.
• Scarface divided the attackers into three teams, and the assailants breached the factory grounds with explosives and gunfire.
• Ai Li fought the Xenomorph Dwarf, defeated her, and dragged her toward the Furnace, saying she would be turned into soap.
