• Xu Le ate the Yellow Springs Fruit, and Yan Luo drew energy from the Furnace Core Room to form the River of Souls and take him into Yellow Springs.
• Xu Le used the Black Staff to illuminate Yellow Springs, crossed the Bridge of Naihe, and saw the dried-out pool and the Gundo Mother Tree’s decaying roots.

After opening a path out of Yellow Springs, he arrived at the Multicolored Land of Fate, where Wang Qing was ready to serve him after believing a report that Wang Xi had died.

• Xu Le learned Bai Ye had once been an abandoned puppy, and that Puppet had been her filthy doll companion.
• The Gundo Mother Tree gave Xu Le Yellow Springs Reincarnation and told him to bring the Children of Guyinduo back, warning that the world would rot if she died.
• Xu Le promised to offer the Mother Tree the remaining half of Lightforging's heart after draining it, then left Yellow Springs with Yan Luo.

• Xu Le returned to the Mother Tree Realm and overheard Duo Lei questioning Chi Xiao, who remained restrained despite her irritation.
• Chi Xiao removed her damaged Prosthetic Limb and summoned five powerful fruits, including Karmic Flame and Death's Nail.
• Xu Le struggled with overwhelming greed, and Chi Xiao explained that suppressing Heart Energy could make him lose track of his desires.

• Chi Xiao told Xu Le how she survived after being abandoned in the wilderness, then gave him a Mystic Type-Candle Fruit and warned him to watch his desires before he left the Mother Tree Realm.
• Xu Le returned to Zion, directed the cleanup of Oddity corpses, and spoke with Wang Man before Li Wen took him to the transferred Lightforging Heart.
• Xu Le insisted on extracting the Lightforging Heart's energy alone, and Li Wen agreed while arranging for him to meet old Moen afterward.

• Wang Man sensed that Lightforging had truly vanished and left Li Qingcheng to deal with urgent work.
• Xu Le’s Soul Tree transformed the Thunder Fruit with Lightforging’s power, producing a ripe upper-grade Thunderlight Fruit, which Xu Le ate.
• Xu Le tested Thunderlight by launching himself through the sky, lost control, and crashed into the pool at Moen’s estate.

• Li Wen explained that Moen had to step down because his family’s influence threatened Zion’s political balance, then pressed Xu Le until he admitted he had made 1,930 bars of soap.
• Xu Le outlined plans for civilian energy, weapons research, and city defenses, then spent the following days preparing for the election while continuing his research and training.
• Xu Le scolded Gu Beichen for failing to contact the Red Moon Holy Temple’s intelligence department, learned from Wang Shu that Gu Beichen had spent his funds on prostitutes, and assigned him to hide documents about the Guyinduo Technology Core as bait.

Xu Le traveled toward Lighthouse and visited Night Fiend in the Land of Darkness, where he learned that the Mother Tree was dying and Red Moon had to be killed before it perished. Night Fiend revealed that the fire she tended was the last light protecting the world from Eternal Night.

• Xu Le boarded an airship for Lighthouse with Ai Li, Wang Man, and his companions, while his sister Xu Ting served among the attendants.
• Xu Le entered the Land of Darkness and told Night Fiend the love story of Josee, the Tiger and the Fish.
• Xu Le asked Night Fiend about the visions in Yellow Springs, and she confirmed that the Mother Tree was dying and the world would wither if it died.
• Night Fiend told Xu Le to keep doing what he was doing because it could help kill Red Moon before the Mother Tree perished.

Xu Le and his companions investigated strange iron fragments floating in the sky after Gu Beichen spotted them from their airship. As they explored the wreckage, Ai Li saw a sinister reflection of Xu Le in a steel plate, and a hand suddenly thrust out of it.

• Night Fiend told Xu Le to stay alive and prepare new stories before Xu Le left the Dark World.
• Gu Beichen reported an unidentified flying object, and Ai Li detected a faint smell of rust; looking through Gu Beichen's flame, Xu Le spotted floating fragments and stopped the airship.
• Xu Le sent White Cicada to test the fragments and discovered that wreckage surrounded the stationary airship.
• Wang Man identified the fragments as possibly connected to the legendary Sky Ring, forged from Dragon's reverse scale, and asked Xu Le to take her along.
• Xu Le, Ai Li, Gu Beichen, and Wang Shu crossed to the wreckage, where Ai Li saw a distorted, cruel-looking Xu Le in a steel reflection and a hand thrust out of the plate.

Xu Le and his companions explored a ruined floating fortress, where Ai Li and Wang Shu suffered strange distortions and eventually collapsed. As Xu Le and Gu Beichen tried to escape with them, the fortress was torn open, revealing a gigantic eyeball that Xu Le wondered might belong to an Angel.

• Ai Li attacked Xu Le after seeing a mirror version of herself, then told him she had lost a stretch of time; Wang Shu later faced a distorted vision of Bai Jing and also experienced disorientation.
• Xu Le connected their experiences to a force distorting people’s deepest bonds, and the group continued through the wreckage despite Ai Li and Wang Shu sensing danger.
• The four found a ruined floating fortress with claw marks on its steel gate, discovered a breach, and entered together; Xu Le recorded the runes and destroyed a mirror.
• Inside the fortress, Ai Li and Wang Shu grew nervous and began losing control of their bodies, while Xu Le and Gu Beichen remained unaffected; Wang Shu and Ai Li then fainted.
• Xu Le carried Ai Li and dragged Wang Shu toward the exit with Gu Beichen, but the opening collapsed before an unseen force tore away part of the fortress shell.

Xu Le and Gu Beichen discovered that Red Moon angels were drawing the floating fortress upward and searched its control room for a way to stop them. When Wang Shu and Ai Li became infected, Xu Le purified Ai Li with the Mother Tree’s power and called on Lord Puppet as Wang Shu attacked.

• Xu Le explained that the eyeball-covered creatures were Red Moon angels, and he and Gu Beichen carried Ai Li and Wang Shu toward the fortress entrance as the air grew buoyant.
• Xu Le realized the whole fortress was flying upward, summoned White Cicada, and then led the group deeper inside to search for whatever the angels wanted.
• Xu Le and Gu Beichen found the control room’s central hub but no useful object, while Wang Shu and Ai Li suddenly awakened in altered, infected forms and attacked Xu Le.
• Xu Le used Golden Thunder-Judgment to halt Wang Shu and Ai Li, then revealed that both were undergoing Red Moon infection.
• Xu Le changed his appearance with Red Moon spirit and used Ai Li’s Tree mark to draw the aberrant spirits from her, while Wang Shu attacked and Xu Le called for Lord Puppet’s help.

Xu Le and his companions reached the source of the fortress’s intense Ancient Yin Duo Energy and found a deformed ring that Sora of the Invisible wanted. Cornered by the level 7 Full Moon Angel, Xu Le put the ring on his finger instead of surrendering it, leaving its power and the group’s fate unresolved.

• Puppet removed the Red Moon influence from Wang Shu, and Xu Le led the recovered group toward the fortress’s center as it continued to break apart.
• Gu Beichen’s wildfire revealed Sora of the Invisible, a level 7 Full Moon Angel who recognized Xu Le, while Death’s Nail intervened and fought her as the others fled.
• Xu Le found a plain, bent ring in a storeroom where its Ancient Yin Duo Energy was making Ai Li and Wang Shu ill, and Gu Beichen helped him reshape it.
• Sora entered the storeroom seeking the ring, and Xu Le tried to bargain for his friends’ safety by threatening to take it into the Land of Darkness.

Xu Le obtained the Sky Ring, which killed Sora of the Invisible and caused Ai Li and Wang Shu to collapse before Night Fiend's mist eased their condition. After Xu Le used the ring to make a path back to the airship, Night Fiend warned him that Dragon would never normally allow an angel into his territory, suggesting Sora's arrival had been deliberate.

• Xu Le grabbed Sora of the Invisible with the Sky Ring's power, and an unseen force crushed her to death as Dragon appeared nearby.
• Xu Le realized the ring's aura was harming Ai Li and Wang Shu, then Black Sheep's mist flowed over the ring and helped them recover.
• Xu Le used the ring to gather floating steel into a bridge and led Ai Li, Wang Shu, and Gu Beichen back to the airship.

After Xu Le arrived in Lighthouse with his delegation, he began official talks while Xiong Zemo secretly investigated Wang Man’s belongings.

• Night Fiend suppressed Dragon’s ring with her power and told Xu Le to find another Child of Guyinduo’s source power, likely Lightforging’s, before the suppression wore off.
• Xu Le returned to the airship, where Wang Man woke and spoke with him and Ai Li before the group reached Lighthouse.
• Xu Le and his delegation arrived in Lighthouse, where Councilor Zhou Bi welcomed him and led the group to their hotel while Zion’s team began trade and cooperation talks.

Luo Juya and Xiong Zemo discussed Zion’s new energy and their past, while Xiong recognized Xu Le and two of his companions as men he had once killed. Xu Le and his companions explored Lighthouse’s night market, then headed to the Night Watchers Memorial to visit Bai Jing as Luo Juya and the new Sixth Squad arrived there too.

• Luo Juya told Xiong Zemo that her information came from rules she could not reveal, and she promised to find a biological fruit that could cure him.
• Xiong Zemo examined photographs of Xu Le, Wang Shu, and Gu Beichen, recognized all three as men he had killed, and suspected their abilities involved substitution or resurrection.
• Xu Le chatted with councilor Zhou Bi, then went out for a late-night meal with Ai Li, Gu Beichen, Wang Shu, and Ding Ke.
• Ding Ke spoke while looking at the High Tower and said she had stolen things from inside it.
• Xu Le and his companions decided to visit Bai Jing at the Night Watchers Memorial, while Luo Juya and the new Sixth Squad arrived there for their operation.

At the Night Watchers Memorial, Luo Juya sensed a Person of Fate and soon found herself trapped in a strange Heart Energy effect before an attacker struck with a destructive Gundo Relic. She survived the blast, but a mysterious Night Watcher kicked her down and identified himself only as one of her own.

• Luo Juya paid respects at the memorial, saw Bai Jing's name, and remembered Xu Le and her former teammates.
• Luo Juya sensed a Person of Fate nearby, then noticed a tall, muscular man in black leaving the memorial.
• Luo Juya experienced strange distortions around the gravestones and moved her mission team’s departure forward, but remained behind as they left.
• Rain began to hang motionless as Luo Juya floated, and she realized the effect had begun when she encountered the Person of Fate.
• A black sphere from the Gundo Relic Rainy-Day Part-Timer exploded; Luo Juya escaped into the shadows but suffered severe burns.
• A mysterious man kicked Luo Juya down, and she asked who he was before he answered, “A Night Watcher.”

Xu Le, Ai Li, Gu Beichen, and Wang Shu fought Luo Juya in a rainy ambush and killed her after Xu Le overwhelmed her shadow magic with thunder and light. Xu Le sensed that killing another Guyinduo Fate User had changed something within his Soul Tree, while Xiong Zemo vowed to avenge Luo Juya.

• Luo Juya battled Ai Li, Gu Beichen, and Wang Shu, whose combined attacks injured her while Xu Le secretly waited for an opening.
• Luo Juya created shadow clones and fled, but Wang Shu held back her Shadow Realm as Ai Li and Gu Beichen pursued the real one.
• Luo Juya’s black sphere destabilized when lightning and light entered it, gravely wounding her, and Xu Le illuminated the rain before striking her with a Lightning Spear.

Xu Le reflected on the battle and his strange exchanges with Death’s Nail and Ding Ke, then arrived at the High Tower with his companions for a meeting, where Wang Man warned Wang Shu about the Light and Xu Le noticed something suspicious about Lower City Councilor Jin Mingzhu.

• The Night Watchers identified Luo Juya as Xiong Zemo’s wife, and Xiong Zemo arrived to mourn her and ask about the traces left by the killer.
• Duo Lei reported shadow, flame, and lightning energy at the scene, then wondered whether Xiong Zemo was a puppet and found a branch from the Golden Radiance Tree.
• Xu Le entered the Mother Tree Realm, thanked the wounded Death’s Nail, and realized he could understand its clicks as language.
