Xu Le uncovered Xiong Zemo’s plot, defeated Mo Chen, and gained a path toward Level 4 before joining Duo Lei’s ascent of the High Tower. There, he disrupted the Golden Radiance Tree’s connection to the Red Moon and confronted Andy, while Chi Xiao stayed behind to fight her.

• Xu Le lured Xiong Zemo into Black Alley, where his companions helped destroy her Puppets, but the Golden Radiance Tree’s spores incapacitated him.
• Mo Chen revealed his plan to take Xu Le’s body, but Xu Le consumed Mo Chen’s soul in his soul world and later absorbed his gold.
• Xu Le rescued Wang Shu and escaped the Illuminati Church with Wang Man, then took Wang Shu to the Mother Tree for healing.
• Xu Le sought an alternative Level 4 path from Night Fiend, who gave him the Darkness Spreader requirements, while Ding Ke described her Forbidden Red Moon path.
• Xu Le grew a Golden Radiance Tree and joined Duo Lei’s trip to the High Tower with Wang Man and Ding Ke, where Yu Long guided them upward.
• Xu Le discovered the Golden Radiance Tree was collecting heart energy to create Red Moon Fruit, then used stored Heart Energy to alter the tree’s rules and sever its connection to the Red Moon.
• Xu Le and the others reached the Sky Garden, where Andy attacked Yu Long, and Chi Xiao stayed behind to fight Andy as Xu Le, Wang Man, Duo Lei, and Yu Long continued upward.

Xu Le transformed the Golden Radiance Tree into the Soul Torch, strengthened Lighthouse, and built Sky City to defend Zion from the Black Tide. After the battle, he guided Lighthouse’s leaders to reveal the Soul Tree to the Red Moon Holy Temple, while setting events in motion around its investigators.

• Chi Xiao revealed the Red Moon’s failed project and her plan to transform the world, while Xu Le climbed the Golden Radiance Tree and discovered a flower on his Soul Tree.
• Xu Le and his companions found Lightforging’s head, but Wang Man attacked them and freed him, and Xu Le turned Duo Lei into Night Demon Duo Lei before fighting Wang Man and Lightforging.
• Wang Man absorbed Lightforging and confronted Xu Le, who escaped the Mother Tree’s grasp by drawing on his powers and severing the Spirit Energy Pool’s connection to it.
• Xu Le claimed the Calamity of Light, harvested the Golden Radiance Tree’s souls, and revived Andy as the Soul Flower Maiden to guard the newly named Soul Torch.
• Xu Le made a deal with Zhou Bi and Jin Mingzhu to supply Lighthouse with energy and weapons, then returned to Zion and announced his plans for Sky City and the integration of Ancient God Species.
• Xu Le pushed through opposition to his recruitment policy, killed Red Moon Holy Temple spies Mei Li'en and Duo Min, and enlisted Chi Xiao to build Sky City.
• As the Black Tide arrived, Sky City and Zion’s forces fought the Oddities, while the Soul Torch and its roots defended Lighthouse through the night.
• Xu Le told Zhou Bi and Jin Mingzhu to answer the Red Moon Holy Temple truthfully about the Soul Tree, when Duo En threatened Jin Mingzhu, Zhou Bi warned that violence would ruin the Temple’s plans.

After surviving Duo En’s ambush, Xu Le went into hiding in Tianrui Lifeng and joined a pioneering mission as a mercenary. He used strange fruits to help Bai Jing awaken new powers, and the team faced a deadly vapor that Xu Le said they could only overcome with fire.

• Duo En and Duo Xi ambushed Xu Le’s convoy, but Xu Le’s allies were overwhelmed and Duo En killed him before he revived aboard an airship bound for Tianrui Lifeng.
• Xu Le arrived in Tianrui Lifeng, killed corrupt guards at their headquarters, and adopted the name Red Beard-Ding Ke while seeking mercenary work.
• Xu Le joined Bai Jing’s pioneering team, fought Oddities in the wilderness, and used his Soul Tree to consume a Black Spirit Serpent and grow strange trees bearing fruit.
• Xu Le shared the fruits with the mercenaries, and Bai Jing and Chang Fengle discovered that the fruits could enhance their combat abilities.
• Bai Jing awakened lightning, Heart Energy, and darkness while fighting through a Silk Floss illusion, then trained with Xu Le to control her growing powers.
• Bai Jing killed a Mountain Troll with her darkness power, and Xu Le warned her that uncontrolled darkness could corrupt her.
• The team found a dead veteran mercenary and encountered suffocating vapor, so Bai Jing ordered a retreat and Xu Le told the mercenaries to prepare a fire.

Xu Le helped Bai Jing gain darkness powers and supported the spread of the Polluters and Tree Herders while testing his Soul Tree's fruits in Tianrui Lifeng. After an insect-infested Black Tide, he entered the Mother Tree Realm with Chi Xiao and demanded that the Mother Tree return what belonged to him.

• Xu Le helped Bai Jing gain Heart Energy Sight, and she killed the Soul-Sucking Monster before leaving her mercenary life and refusing her family's demands.
• Bai Jing founded the Polluters with Ding Ke's encouragement, while Chang Fengle founded the Tree Herders and grew Xu Le's seeds with Oddity corpses to distribute power-granting fruits.
• Ai Li traveled to Tianrui Lifeng to find Xu Le, while Chi Xiao located him and agreed to support his experiments in replacing the Guyinduo Tree.
• Xu Le summoned the Soul Tree's vine to crush a giant insect during the Black Tide, and Chi Xiao destroyed the swarm that emerged from its body.
• Chang Fengle led the Tree Herders to rescue the Polluters, and Ai Li helped Bai Jing defeat the Ghost-Type Oddity and Living Corpse Bear.
• Xu Le grew another Soul Tree and harvested two Night Demon Fruits, then Night Fiend asked him to investigate the outside bugs and advised him to let the tree grow freely.
• Xu Daqiang took an Ashes Fruit from the battered Soul Tree, and Zhang Ji confronted him after Xu Le decided to leave the fruit alone.
