Liu Muxue came from a family that was not particularly wealthy and became famous shortly after reaching adulthood. Despite her public success, her parents controlled her appearance fees, finances, and personal decisions. Their emotional pressure eventually forced her to agree to marry Chen Jiang, chairman of the Everlasting Prosperity Group, whom she disliked 1 11 12.

Chen Jiang died before the planned marriage. While Cao Xing drove her to the funeral home, Liu Muxue told her family that his death ended her connection to him and refused to be used as a bargaining chip again. She nevertheless maintained an outward appearance of grief at the funeral 1.

Arrival in Icebound Era

Liu Muxue and Cao Xing were transported together when Icebound Era’s public beta began. She accepted the system’s information quickly, selected Aurora Knight, and helped establish their camp by gathering stone and wood and upgrading the Campfire. When her high heels impeded the work, she removed them and continued barefoot through the snow 1 2.

Initially inexperienced in combat, she learned by accompanying Cao Xing into the wilderness. During the Coal Mine battle, she successfully held off a Level 3 Snow Wolf with her shield and counterattacked with a poisoned Stone Axe. After collecting 112 pieces of coal, she became so cold that her legs went numb; Cao Xing helped her put on Snow Boots and carried her back to camp 4 6 7 8.

Breaking with Her Family

On the first night, her parents and younger brothers demanded food after noticing her shelter and wolf-fur clothing. Cao Xing intervened when their accusations reduced her to tears. Liu Muxue subsequently rejected their repeated calls, regarding the new world as an opportunity to escape their control and begin again 11 12.

Her growing attachment to Cao Xing became a romantic relationship. They first kissed after she helped warm his feet, then became intimate while sharing a bearskin during a freezing night. She admitted her fear that he might abandon her, and he promised that they would continue living in the new world together 12 22.

Refugee Rescue and Territory Life

Liu Muxue accompanied the expedition against the Hunter Camp and gained experience through Aurora Blessing. Although distressed by the violence, she forced herself to face it as part of adapting to combat 24 27.

Among the rescued captives, she comforted Tong Chuchu and asked Cao Xing to bring the child back to their territory. She also encouraged him to visit Chuchu’s mother. Back at camp, Liu Muxue distributed bread to the new residents, who thanked her as the “Second Lord” 28 29 31.

Mine Expedition and Leaderboard Rise

During the mine expedition, Liu Muxue requested opportunities to fight rather than only gain experience behind the stronger followers. She begins fearful of monsters and visibly shaken by brutal deaths, but repeatedly chooses to participate rather than remain protected. She works through the cold, persists with combat training, and later asks to fight Molemen herself. Her promise not to hold Cao Xing back reflects a sustained determination to adapt 2 6 11 14 27 36.

Her confidence develops alongside firmer personal boundaries. Initially overwhelmed by her family’s accusations, she later rejects their demands and recognizes her father’s false remorse.
