Early Cloudside Town Dominance

Lin Mo combines Soulfire with his previous-life knowledge to gain gold equipment almost immediately. He hides his ID during the first equipment announcement and disables his gear's glow to prevent others from discovering his evolution ability. Potion arbitrage and equipment draws then supply enough resources for five gold items 2 3 9 10 11.

His solo victory over the Howling Moon Wolf King completes the central objective of Cloudside Town's hidden quest. The rewards provide his first tier-2 weapon and Double Shot, establishing the equipment and skill foundations for his Archer build 13 17.

Class Advancement and Spider Queen Preparation

An Exploding Spider kills Lin Mo and exposes the danger of the Spider Queen encounter. He calculates that he needs at least 600 attack, gathers Flame Ring materials, and accepts Ling Xiao's crafting assistance so he can preserve his own reputation for Soulfire's advancement 19 23.

Spider Queen Contest

Lin Mo recognizes Su Yingxia as Wang Junjie's spy and deliberately uses her to steer the Troubled Times Guild toward the Spider Queen. He waits while the guild sacrifices players and lowers the boss's health, intending to take the finishing blow 37.

Qin Feng's guild and Ning'an University students break through the forces blocking his approach. Lin Mo kills Wang Junjie just before the latter reaches the nearly dead boss; afterward, Lin Mo obtains its valuable loot, including Shadow Heart and two orange Archer-compatible items 39 41.

First SSS-Rank Skill and Departure

After earning money from paid leveling and auction sales, Lin Mo moves to Heavenly Origin Residence, partly to prevent Wang Junjie from exploiting Su Yingxia's knowledge of his former address. He also begins approaching Ning Xi, the future Xi Yue 42 43 44 45.

He then purchases and burns basic skill books to create Seven-Star Volley, learns it, and sets out for a Level 3 Main City. While passing toward the teleportation array, he intervenes in the Troubled Times–Windchaser battle, demonstrates the skill's seven-kill power, and makes clear that he came for Qin Feng rather than Su Yingxia 46 47 49.
