Background / History
Luo Xiaotian was born into the Black Dragon Empire’s imperial family as its third prince. One of four brothers, he was described by Luo Feng as their father’s favorite. Luo Feng regarded that favoritism as a threat to his succession and had targeted Luo Xiaotian since childhood, even when Xiaotian pretended to be a wastrel 24 27.
Disgusted by royal infighting, officials’ rivalries, and relatives turning against one another, Luo Xiaotian left the imperial palace and joined the Mystic Universe Heavenly Palace. He maintained that he had no interest in becoming emperor or contesting Luo Feng’s claim 23 24.
Despite becoming the Heavenly Palace’s leading inner disciple, he initially lacked an elder willing to accept him as a disciple because of his peculiar habits. He hoped to study under Mo Tianji, but eventually became the Palace Master’s sole personal disciple instead 21 29.
Appearance
Luo Xiaotian is introduced as a portly, potbellied young man whose unremarkable appearance contrasts with his exceptional talent and heavenly status 21.
- Poor hygiene: Grease surrounds his mouth, and his foul breath initially makes Xu Xuan back away 21.
- Clothing: Wears inner-disciple robes before becoming the Palace Master’s disciple 29.
- Princely bearing: Upon entering the Black Dragon Empire, he straightens his posture and displays the commanding aura of someone accustomed to authority 22.
Personality
Luo Xiaotian is outspoken, generous, and eager for friendship. Delighted when Xu Xuan agrees to shake his hand, he immediately calls him his “one and only friend,” promises protection, and gives him a difficult Heaven-grade manual because he believes Xu Xuan can cultivate it 21.
He values freedom over political power and resents the empire’s leaders for pursuing expansion while neglecting their subjects. His concern for others repeatedly overrides his own safety: he accompanies Xu Xuan on a dangerous mission, rushes to distract bandits when he learns captive women are in immediate danger, and leaves Black Dragon Town rather than expose its residents to Luo Feng’s pursuit 22 23 24 27.
His mercy has limits. He spares Hu Lie after the attempted poisoning and leaves the defeated bandit chief alive, but continued persecution convinces him to confront Luo Feng directly. After destroying his brother’s army, he humiliates Luo Feng and prepares to kill him 24 26 28.
Abilities & Skills
Heaven’s Dao Favor
Xu Xuan’s system identifies Luo Xiaotian as a Son of Heaven’s Dao with a God-Devouring Spirit Body. His heavenly recognition followed his breakthrough to the Heavenly Mansion Realm at eighteen 21 27.
- Danger premonition: Senses Luo Feng’s approaching attempt to capture him and leaves town to protect others 27.
- Survival protection: The system states that a Son of Heaven’s Dao cannot die while Heaven’s Dao endures 26.
- Exceptional fortune: His favor toward Xu Xuan grants Xu Xuan 1,450 Fate Points upon their first handshake 21.
- Constitution: The provided account names his God-Devouring Spirit Body but does not explain its specific functions 21.
Words Becoming Law
Luo Xiaotian possesses a limited ability to make his statements come true 26 34.
- The system initially describes his words as carrying ninety percent certainty 26.
- Luo Xiaotian later states that whatever he says has a ninety-five percent chance of happening 34.
- He orders an Ice Snake to approach and let him kill it; the snake obediently presents its head for beheading 34.
- The ability is described as limited rather than an unconditional guarantee 26.
Dragon Shadow Chasing the Heavens
A high-grade Earth-tier cultivation technique that calls down an enormous black dragon from the clouds 24.
- Blasts a huge crater outside Black Wind Cave, drawing the bandits out while Xu Xuan attempts a rescue 24.
- The attack considerably drains Luo Xiaotian, prompting him to retreat immediately afterward 24.
Galaxy Burst
A divine ability learned at the Mystic Universe Heavenly Palace that stores the power of the starry river and releases it in a large-area explosion 28.
- Annihilates the army Luo Feng sends against him, leaving no visible trace of the troops 28.
Enhanced Sight
Luo Xiaotian can use his sight where his companions cannot see clearly 24 30.
- Sweeps his hand across his eyes, producing a golden glow that allows him to observe Black Wind Cave and recognize Qian Ren 24.
- Sees through the tower’s first-floor darkness, locates the attacking puppet, and destroys it 30.
Armed and Unarmed Combat
Luo Xiaotian combines swordsmanship, dagger strikes, and direct spiritual-energy attacks 26 31 39.
- Defeats the scarred bandit chief with a black-dragon attack from the Black Dragon Sword 26.
- Destroys the third-floor energy guardian with a punch after it attempts to attack the unconscious Xu Xuan 31.
- Severs the half-step Purple Mansion Golden-Armored Puppet’s sword and defeats the puppet, with Yun Qingxue countering its flames 37 38.
- Kills the masked challenger on the icy plane with one dagger slash 39.
- Claims confidence against Heavenly Mansion cultivators and below, but expresses little confidence against Purple Mansion expert Sun Fang 28.
Treasure and Creature Knowledge
Luo Xiaotian recognizes rare resources and understands their uses 34 39.
- Identifies the Millennium Ice Flower and explains that refining it into pills can increase its effects three- or fourfold 34.
- Recognizes the Ice Snake, its association with the flower, and the value of its gallbladder 34.
- Identifies the Ice Pillar as material that can be refined into a weapon 39.

Relationships
- Xu Xuan — Close friend and mission companion. Luo Xiaotian repeatedly protects him and supplies the Spirit-Burning God-Slaying Art; Xu Xuan follows him to face Luo Feng, forces Sun Fang to withdraw using Mo Tianji’s token, and pulls him away from Xing Yun’s explosive talisman 21 27 28 33.
- Luo Feng — Eldest brother and crown prince. His jealousy drives repeated attempts on Luo Xiaotian’s life, culminating in their confrontation outside Black Dragon Town 24 27 28.
- Palace Master of the Mystic Universe Heavenly Palace — Master. Accepts Luo Xiaotian as his sole personal disciple after noticing his cultivation and extraordinary Fate Points 29.
- Mo Tianji — Desired master. Luo Xiaotian seeks his instruction, but Mo Tianji declines because he does not consider himself qualified to teach a Son of Heaven’s Dao 21 29.
- Yun Qingxue — Tower-trial companion. He proposes giving her the Ice Snake’s gallbladder, which subsequently enables her Frost Divine Body awakening 34 35.
- Qian Ren — Fellow disciple who entered the sect at the same time. Luo Xiaotian blames him for missing the chance to become Ouyang Quede’s disciple and discovers him collaborating with the Black Wind Cave bandits 24.
- Hu Lie — Mayor who attempts to poison him on Luo Feng’s orders. Luo Xiaotian spares him, but Hu Lie later reports his presence to Luo Feng 23 24 27.
