Guanyin Bodhisattva walked through Blood Sea Cave, carefully searching for something, but found nothing.
After rescuing Tang Sanzang and the others, Wukong saw Guanyin Bodhisattva and asked, "Bodhisattva, what are you looking for?"
Guanyin Bodhisattva said, "Have any of you seen Heavenly King Li's Pagoda?"
Bajie said, "Bodhisattva, I've seen it. My little nephew fitted a wooden handle onto that broken Pagoda and used it as a skimmer. It should be in the kitchen now."
Hearing this, Guanyin Bodhisattva hurried to the kitchen.
She finally found the Pagoda in a vegetable basin.
By now, the Pagoda had lost all its precious radiance and was as dull as an ordinary object.
Guanyin Bodhisattva removed the wooden handle from the Pagoda and took out a small cup of Gold Lacquer.
Wukong asked, "Bodhisattva, what is that?"
Guanyin Bodhisattva said, "This is Gold Lacquer bestowed by Buddha. Before I came, Buddha specifically instructed me to make sure I repaired this Pagoda."
As she spoke, Guanyin Bodhisattva poured the Gold Lacquer over the Pagoda. Before long, the Pagoda shone with precious radiance once more.
Guanyin Bodhisattva picked up the Pagoda and hurried out of the demon cave.
Wukong and the others followed her out.
All the gods were outside.
Guanyin Bodhisattva searched everywhere for Heavenly King Li but could not find him.
Wukong helped her search, but he did not see him either.
During their search, Guanyin Bodhisattva and Wukong came across Emperor Zhenwu and quickly asked, "Emperor, have you seen Heavenly King Li?"
Emperor Zhenwu said, "Heavenly King Li's Divine Soul was badly wounded. Nezha took him away."
Guanyin Bodhisattva was greatly alarmed and hurriedly asked:
"Where did they go?"
