Meanwhile, Ao Tu arranged for the Sun Star Lord to return to the Heavenly Court to recuperate.

The Sun Star Lord happily agreed.

A few days later, Wukong, carrying the Sun Star Lord and the corpse of the Vipassī Buddha, quietly "escaped" from the great formation.

Upon arriving outside, they met Heavenly King Li and Nine Heavens Responding Origin Thunderclap Puhua Tianzun.

Heavenly King Li asked, "Great Sage, Sun Star Lord, have you escaped from the Demon Dragon's Formation?"

Wukong said, "It was only because the three Buddha descended and used their great Supernatural Ability to awaken the Sun Star Lord that they were defeated by the Demon Dragon. Among them, the Śikhin Buddha Vipassī Buddha went into the calamity, while the Viśvabhū Buddha were captured. Old Sun, took advantage of the Demon Dragon's unpreparedness and rescued the Sun Star Lord. The Sun Star Lord, disregarding his own injuries, then brought out the Vipassī Buddha."

Upon hearing this, Heavenly King Li was filled with sorrow and, together with the Nine Heavens Responding Origin Thunderclap Puhua Tianzun, examined the corpse of the Vipassī Buddha.

All that could be seen was the corpse of a Buddha, its head mostly shot off, already beyond dead.

After discussing it, the four of them pooled their money to buy Coffin and send it to the Heavenly Realm.

Before long, they arrived in the Heavenly Realm and presented their report to the Jade Emperor.

Upon learning of this, the Celestial Worthy Jade Emperor immediately sent someone to invite the Buddha of the Western Heaven.

At the Great Thunderclap Temple on Spirit Mountain, the Tathagata Buddha addressed the assembly, persuading the the Monks of the benefits of moving their faith to the Eastern Lands.

As Mahakala Bodhisattva and other bodhisattvas entered the kalpa one after another, the number of Monks who opposed them decreased.

At this moment, the Jade Emperor's two guardian spirits arrived at the temple.

Kasyapa announced.

The Tathagata Buddha invited the two in and asked, "What brings you here?"

The two spirit officials said, "The Vipassī Buddha, and his body has been placed in the Heavenly Realm. The Śikhin Buddha Viśvabhū Buddha have been captured by Demon Dragon, and His Majesty has sent us to inform you of this."

Upon hearing this, all the the Monks were shocked.

The Tathagata Buddha said, "The Vipassī Buddha, Śikhin Buddha, Viśvabhū Buddha are obstructing the great trend of the East's rise, going against the will of Heaven, and will perish in the calamity."

The Monks dared not object.

Randeng Ancient Buddha rose and said, "These three are ancient Ancient Buddha of the Western Heaven; I shall go and offer my condolences."

Having said that, he rode Plum Blossom Immortal Deer and followed the two spirit officials to the Heavenly Realm.

The poem says:

A day of auspicious light shimmered, and five-colored Auspicious Clouds endlessly.

The deer's cry Nine Marshes through the nine marshes, the Purple Zhi's color shines through a thousand layers of leaves.

Upon hearing this, the Celestial Worthy Jade Emperor instructed people to welcome him.

There stood the Randeng Ancient Buddha:

With an unusual appearance and strange demeanor, he is the head of the immortals and the originator of Buddha.

Upon entering the Heavenly Realm, Randeng Ancient Buddha bowed to the Celestial Worthy Jade Emperor, but before the Jade Emperor could speak, tears welled up in his eyes. The Jade Emperor had no choice but to let him go and offer his condolences first.

Randeng Ancient Buddha then arrived before the Coffin the Vipassī Buddha, embraced the coffin, and wept bitterly, saying:

"I earnestly advised you that if things became unmanageable, you should return immediately, but you wouldn't listen. Now you've gone into calamity, when will you return again? From this day forward, our two sects are separated, and we shall never meet again!"

As the weeping reached its peak, the Randeng Ancient Buddha, his face streaked with tears, pushed open the Coffin of the Vipassī Buddha Shengguan, searched it thoroughly, and then stopped crying, asking:

"Who rescued the relics of the Vipassī Buddha and brought them back? I must thank them in person."

The spirit official pointed to the side and said, "That is the Sun Star Lord."

Upon hearing this, Randeng Ancient Buddha stepped forward, grasped the hands of the Sun Star Lord, and repeatedly expressed his gratitude.

The Sun Star Lord was flattered and dared not accept the honor.

Randeng Ancient Buddha then asked, "I previously bestowed three Jewel upon Vipassī Buddha, Śikhin Buddha, Viśvabhū Buddha. Does the Star Lords know the whereabouts of these Jewel?"

The Sun Star Lord said, "The Jewel have all fallen into the hands of the Demon Dragon."

Upon hearing this, the Randeng Ancient Buddha burst into tears, overwhelmed with grief, and wept uncontrollably while lying on the coffin of the Vipassī Buddha.

Even the gods tried to dissuade him, but to no avail.

He wept for almost half a day before Randeng Ancient Buddha rode a deer Journey Westward.

The Sarira how the Sun Star Lord refined the remains of the Vipassī Buddha relics is not mentioned.

Randeng Ancient Buddha returned to Spirit Mountain, found the Tathagata Buddha, and said:

"World-Honored One, now that the Śikhin Buddha Viśvabhū Buddha have been captured by the Demon Dragon, we must rescue them immediately!"

The Tathagata Buddha said, "That is quite true, but I'm afraid one Kasaya cannot exchange for so many people. I have heard that Randeng Ancient Buddha has twenty-four Ancient Buddha Jewel. We can take twenty of them and give them to Venerable Guanyin to redeem the people."

Upon hearing Tathagata, Randeng Ancient Buddha cursed Tathagata in his heart and spoke:

"World-Honored One, my twenty-four Ancient Buddha Jewel are divinely bestowed Numinous Treasures, which give rise to the Twenty-Four Heavens of my religion. They must not be used lightly!"

The Tathagata Buddha said, "In that case, I have no other choice."

Having no other choice, Randeng Ancient Buddha summoned his Monks and led them out of Spirit Mountain to the outside of Yellow Flower Temple, where he instructed the Monks to enter the formation and examine its Formation.

Upon hearing the order, the the Monks entered the battle formation, but none of them returned.

Having no other choice, the Randeng Ancient Buddha stepped into the formation himself.

Within the grand formation, Stars rose and fell, the Heavenly Dao were constant, yet how perilous it was.

Upon seeing Randeng enter the formation, Ao Tu knew this was no ordinary Buddha. He stepped forward and said, "Randeng Ancient Buddha, Tathagata the Tathagata has not come, why send you to break the formation?"

Randeng Ancient Buddha said, "Śikhin Buddha and Viśvabhū Buddha Buddha under my tutelage. How can I stand by and do nothing when they are in trouble? I will fight them."

Upon hearing this, Ao Tu felt a sense of admiration. He then summoned the Taiyin and Sun Five Phases Stars, which all pressed down on the Randeng Ancient Buddha.

Randeng Ancient Buddha, as expected of Past Buddha, is True Buddha who has walked his own the Path. Even within the Great Formation of Stars of the Celestial Cycle, he remains steadfast in his own the Path and is unaffected by the Ancient Times Heavenly Dao.

The Five Phases Stars fell upon him, their existence constantly changing, until he revealed the Golden Body of Buddha and carried it all on his shoulder.

The Golden Body of Randeng Ancient Buddha is not as large as the previous Buddhas, but Immune to Ten Thousand Spells, and is the body of True Buddha.

At this moment, he was able to break through the Five Phases Stars, but he did not make a move.

The Moon Star Sun Star alternate in their rotation, rising and setting for three hundred million days and nights, yet they cannot wear down the Golden Body of the Randeng Ancient Buddha in the slightest.

Upon seeing this, the Taiyin Star Lord unfurled the Moon Flag, used the power of the Moon, and emitted a Moon Star Divine Light that struck the left shoulder of the Randeng Ancient Buddha.

The Randeng Ancient Buddha clutched his left shoulder and cried out, "It hurts! It hurts!" Despite the pain, he did not back down.

On the other side, the Sun Star were controlled by the Great Sun Demon King. At this moment, he unfurled the Sun Flag and emitted a beam of Sun Divine Fire, which burned onto the body of the Randeng Ancient Buddha.

Randeng Ancient Buddha extinguished the Flames, but his Kasaya were damaged and he was burned, yet he still fought to the death.

Then, the Randeng Ancient Buddha used his Heavenly Eye to emit boundless light, coming from the past to discern Ao Tu's location, and struck out with a Qiankun Ruler.

Upon seeing this, Ao Tu admired his magical power. He revealed himself, protected himself with the Northern Black Origin Water-Control Banner, and summoned the Golden Bushel of Primordial Unity, intending to take away the Qiankun Ruler.

Upon seeing this, the Randeng Ancient Buddha stepped forward, used the Qiankun Ruler to hold down the Golden Bushel of Primordial Unity, reached into the Golden Bushel of Primordial Unity, and took out three Ancient Buddha Jewel.

Upon seeing this, Ao Tu was stunned for a moment, thinking to himself, "For the sake of a mere three Jewel, to be so careless and unprepared is surely courting defeat!"

So he didn't hold back, took out the Seven Treasures Wonderful Tree and swept it, hitting the Randeng Ancient Buddha and knocking him straight down.

Randeng Ancient Buddha's Golden Body was instantly shattered by the Seven Treasures Wonderful Tree, and he fell to the ground. Ignoring his injuries, he first took the three Ancient Buddha Jewel.

Ao Tu then knocked down the Seven Treasures Wonderful Tree.

Randeng Ancient Buddha quickly covered his face with his hands and said, "Stop! Stop! I have no grudge against you, and I haven't harmed a single one of you since entering the formation. Why are you attacking me for no reason?"

Upon hearing this, Ao Tu stopped what he was doing and asked, "What did you say?"

Randeng Ancient Buddha said, "Now it is Sakyamuni Buddha resides on Spirit Mountain. Your desire to occupy Spirit Mountain has nothing to do with me. I have never had any enmity or grudge against you, so why should we fight to the death?"
