Vanquishing demons at Lion Camel Ridge (22)
Meanwhile, Ao Tu had basically completed the preparations for the Twelve Divine Fiends Formation of the Twelve Capitals and was just waiting for Tathagata.
At the same time, Great Brahma King left Spirit Mountain, rode a swan to the Lion Camel City, and threw the Tathagata's flesh and blood on the ground.
Where the flesh and blood fell to the ground, Golden Lotus immediately sprouted, weeds transformed into Lingzhi, and a strange fragrance spread for Three Thousand.
All the demons in the city were lured in.
The Golden-Winged Great Peng smelled the strange fragrance, spread its wings, and arrived outside the city in a moment. It grabbed the flesh and blood and ate it in one bite.
The meat went into my mouth, slid down my throat, and remained in my stomach, unable to be digested.
Golden-Winged Great Peng felt a burning sensation in his abdomen, bloated and distended, and lost all appetite. He could not even fly when he spread his wings.
Great Brahma King smiled and instructed the swans beneath him to seize the Golden-Winged Great Peng and fly Western Heaven.
Golden-Winged Great Peng cried out loudly, "Your Great King, save me! Your Great King, save me!"
Upon hearing this, Ao Tu looked up and saw that it was yet another nameless nobody. He couldn't help but feel angry. He cursed the Tathagata Monk being so shrewd, sending his men to their deaths while he sat comfortably on Spirit Mountain.
Ao Tu then took out a Saintly Sword and threw it directly at the swan.
Upon seeing this, Great Brahma King threw the Sacred Pot to block the Saintly Sword.
Ao Tu swept away the Sacred Pot with his Five-Colored Divine Light, and the Saintly Sword landed directly on the swan's neck, severing its head. Then, True Spirit entered the tribulation and departed.
Because the swan was struck by the Saintly Sword, its beak, which had been biting the Golden-Winged Great Peng, lost its strength. The Golden-Winged Great Peng then broke free from its mouth, repeatedly thanked Ao Tu, and clumsily ran back to the city.
Upon seeing this, the Great Brahma King was both angry and afraid. He was angry that his Mount had been killed, and he was afraid of Ao Tu's Five-Colored Divine Light.
Because he had previously fought with the Mahamayuri Bodhisattva over a verbal dispute and lost a head, he was somewhat afraid of this Supernatural Ability and dared not step forward.
Seeing that this lackey had little courage, Ao Tu decided to let him go. Killing him Tathagata n't seriously harm Buddha, but killing too many would make Amitabha Buddha uneasy and prompt him to come out.
Ao Tu then returned to the city.
The Great Brahma King circled the city several times, but seeing the city filled with bloody energy, dark clouds obscuring the sun, and divine thunder roaring, he dared not enter and returned to Spirit Mountain.
Ao Tu returned to the city. The Golden-Winged Great Peng, walking on two legs with its belly swollen like a drum, ran over, knelt on the ground, and said, "Your Great King, I ate a piece of meat, and now it's stuck in my stomach and I can't digest it. Please, Your Great King, save me."
Ao Tu looked at it, then used his sword to cut open the Golden-Winged Great Peng's belly, took out the Buddha's flesh Tathagata blood, and the Golden-Winged Great Peng returned to normal.
Ao Tu did not know that the flesh was the flesh and blood of the Tathagata. He only felt that the power within it was immense and extraordinary. Because he was worried that something had been tampered with, he dared not keep it and instead offered the flesh and blood as a sacrifice to the statue, where it turned into blood energy.
What a magnificent surge of blood energy! It soared to the Nine Heavens and stretched for thousands of miles. Fortune Star was hidden, while a malevolent star appeared.
Ao Tu was delighted to see this, thinking to himself that the great formation had gained even more power.
Meanwhile, Great Brahma King returned to Spirit Mountain and met with the Tathagata.
The Tathagata Buddha asked, "Has the Great Brahma King subdued the Golden-Winged Great Peng?"
The Great Brahma King, "I have not succeeded."
The Tathagata Buddha asked, "Why were you unable to subdue them?"
The Great Brahma King, "Because of the scourge of the Demon Dragon, the Golden-Winged Great Peng and the Bodhisattva beasts have all been captured by it, and my Treasure Bottle has also been stolen by its sorcery! I beseech the World-Honored One Honored One to mobilize Buddhist Soldiers to Demon Dragon Annihilation and spread the glory of the Western Heaven!"
The Tathagata Buddha said, "Let me observe it with my Wisdom Eye."
Having said this, the Tathagata Buddha his Wisdom Eye and surveyed the land of Lion Camel City. After a moment, he said:
"That Demon Dragon gathered demons to form a city, accumulating Blood Fiend and evil energy. Its aura soared to the Nine Heavens, spreading for thousands of miles, obscuring the auspicious Fortune Star and revealing the Ominous Star. That place is an extremely ominous location; if one were to throw oneself into its Baleful Qi, one would be destined for calamity!"
The Great Brahma King, "In the past, Amitabha Buddha broke the Demon Dragon's Formation, and the Demon Dragon fled in panic. The scene of that day is still vivid in my mind. Why is the World-Honored One Honored One so hesitant and uttering such cowardly words? Could it be that you intend to move your teachings to the Eastern Lands again?"
The Tathagata Buddha said, "Indeed, the Buddhism's Eastward Rise in the East is an inevitable trend. The Demon Dragon has gathered to invade, and we must not fight against it. We should Eastern Migration as soon as possible. Kasyapa, go and invite the Buddhas to discuss this matter."
Upon hearing this, Kasyapa went to invite Maitreya Buddha, Dipankara Buddha, Bhaisajyaguru Buddha, and other Buddhas, as well as Bodhisattvas, Arhats, and Bhikkhus, to come.
After some time, the Monks gathered in the hall and took their seats in order.
The scene was exactly the same as what happened at Pansi Ridge.
Some people were missing because they couldn't come for some reason.
The Tathagata Buddha said, "Now that the Demon Dragon has returned, the situation is clear. I intend to move the entire sect Eastern Migration. I invite the Monks to discuss this."
As soon as he finished speaking, the the Monks became noisy.
Because of the previous calamity involving Mahakala Bodhisattva and others, many Monks no longer dared to oppose the Eastern Migration.
However, because Amitabha Buddha had previously appeared and defeated the Demon Dragon, some Monks believed that there was no need to Eastern Migration.
The two groups started arguing.
The Tathagata Buddha, Maitreya Buddha, Buddha Randeng, Medicine Buddha of Lapis Lazuli Light sit motionless above.
After observing for a moment, the Great Brahma King saw that there were quite a few monks opposing the Eastern Migration, and his heart filled with confidence. He also thought that even if they were no match for him, he would have Amitabha Buddha as his support, so he stepped forward and said:
"The Demon Dragon, carrying the beasts of the Golden-Winged Great Peng and Bodhisattva, devours my Western Heaven deities, steals my treasures, and provokes my sect. The Demon Dragon's grand formation was previously broken; it is now merely a dying creature. Why fear it? Let us join forces to annihilate the Demon Dragon and uphold the prestige of my great Western Heaven Great Sect!"
Upon hearing this, many the Monks responded.
There are Sati Bodhisattva, Tushita Bodhisattva, Vamana Bodhisattva, Hara Bodhisattva, Bali Bodhisattva, Sitara Bodhisattva, Yaksha King Yama Deva Vayu Deva, Pushan Arhat, Vyasa Arhat, etc.
Upon seeing this, both Maitreya Buddha and Buddha Randeng shed tears.
The Tathagata Buddha asked, "Maitreya Bodhisattva, Randeng Ancient Buddha, why are you shedding tears?"
Maitreya Buddha said, "Seeing people enter into calamity, I cannot bear it, therefore I shed tears."
Buddha Randeng said, "Those who defy Heaven will be remembered in the calamity. I can see them, but I cannot save them, and my heart aches greatly."
The Tathagata Buddha sighed, "That is indeed true; I feel the same way. Great Brahma King, you should not go. That Demon Dragon has long listened to my teachings and gained much spiritual power; he possesses numerous Supernatural Ability abilities and is difficult to defeat. I will have someone lend you a treasure for your protection, hoping it will ensure your safety."
Upon hearing this, Great Brahma King thought to himself, "What a wonderful thing!" and agreed.
The Tathagata Buddha then said, "Venerable Guanyin."
Guanyin Bodhisattva replied, "Disciple is here."
The Tathagata Buddha said, "Please Venerable Guanyin, go to the Tushita Palace in the Heaven of Parting Hatred and borrow the Southern Earth-Leaving Flame-Light Banner Taishang Laojun that we may protect the the Monks."
Guanyin Bodhisattva hesitated for a moment, then asked, "Does the World-Honored One have any instructions?"
The Tathagata Buddha said, "No instructions are given, just go and borrow it, and I guarantee you'll get it."
Guanyin Bodhisattva was skeptical, but after leaving Spirit Mountain, she rode Auspicious Clouds to the Tushita Palace the Heavenly Realm.
Gold Horn and Silver Horn were already waiting outside, and they said, "Please, Bodhisattva."
Guanyin Bodhisattva then followed them inside, paid her respects, and met with Lord Lao.
Taishang Laojun laughed and said, "I already know why the Bodhisattva has come. Boy, go and fetch the flag that I use to block the smoke from the stove."
