Deliverance in the Bhikshu Kingdom (IX)
Meanwhile, the King of the Bhikshu Kingdom was put into a box by Xiao Zhenying.
Ao Tu took a breath and said to Wukong:
"Great Sage, where did you bring this Evil Souls to scare me?"
Wukong rubbed his hands nervously and said:
"I didn't capture it. It's just that my master and I were passing through the Bhikshu Kingdom, where there was a wicked Monarch kingdom had been seized by Demon. My master, being compassionate, was unaware of his depravity and, hearing his pleas, worked hard to save the State Altars. Now he's Prisons, and I, having no other choice, have brought this Evil Souls here, begging you, True Lord, to save him."
Ao Tu laughed and said, "With the Great Sage's abilities, what Prisons could possibly hold him? Surely he can't defeat that Demon?"
Wukong said, "In terms of Supernatural Ability powers and martial arts, I am naturally not afraid. However, that Demon has become the ruler of a country, and all the civil and military officials recognize him. He has thousands of soldiers by his side at all times. I can't possibly kill them all."
Ao Tu nodded and said, "I see. Disciple, release that Evil Souls and see if it has been neutralized."
Upon hearing this, Xiao Zhenying opened the treasure box and threw out the king of Bhikkhu. She saw that half of his body had already turned into nothingness, leaving only half of his body.
Wukong asked, "True Lord, is there any way to save this?"
Ao Tu said, "It's alright. He was already missing half a person anyway, so the missing half can be used to save him. It's just that Great Sage will have to suffer some injustice."
Wukong said, "Since we are asking for a favor, let's not talk about feeling wronged. Please give your orders, True Lord."
Ao Tu said, "This is an Evil Souls. If it were Good Souls, it would require spiritual materials to save it; but this Evil Souls Good Souls the opposite, so it requires Filthy Material. I don't have any in my Elixir Chamber, Great Sage, you might as well search in my Flower Realm. Once you find one, I can come and save it."
Wukong listened and agreed, then went to the Flower Realm.
The Flower Realm is vast, and many male and female fairies tend to it.
Wukong found someone and asked, "Fairy, have you seen Filthy Material?"
The Female Immortals, "This Flower Realm is a sacred place; where would you find any Filthy Material?"
Wukong then looked for another person and asked, "Attendant, have you seen the Filthy Material?"
The Male Immortals, "This place is full of wondrous flower spirits; where is there even a trace of Filth or decay?"
Wukong searched for a long time but couldn't find a trace of Filth. He sat down on the ground and said, "Where can I find this?" Looking at the mud under his feet, he suddenly realized that he had urinated on the ground—wasn't that Filth?
However, there were people around, so Wukong blushed and couldn't take off his clothes, so he just wandered around aimlessly.
Little did Wukong know that although the Flower Realm was vast, it was clearly divided, with each immortal ruling their own territory, and there was no place for humans.
Like a thief, Wukong wandered here and there, always encountering people. Not wanting to get into trouble, he finally reached the center of the Flower Realm, a secluded place. Wukong was overjoyed and was about to undress when he heard a familiar female voice say:
"Sun Wukong, what are you doing here? Have you come to steal some magical treasure?"
Upon hearing this, Wukong looked over and saw that it was Princess Wansheng.
She was imprisoned in the center of the Flower Realm for stealing the Queen Mother's Spirit Herb. Although she looked haggard, her natural beauty remained unchanged.
Wukong cupped his hands and said, "Long time no see! Long time no see! I am here on the orders of the True Lord to collect some Filth, not to steal any spiritual treasures."
Princess Wansheng said, "You thief and monk, are you still lying? Where would there be Filth here? Thousands of years ago, some rotten persimmons were used up long ago. I saw you acting like a thief, hiding here and there, sneaking all the way here. And now you're taking off your clothes, aren't you trying to steal spiritual items and put them inside your clothes?"
Upon hearing this, Wukong felt ashamed and didn't know how to explain. If he told the truth, he feared being ridiculed, which was truly embarrassing; if he lied, he was honest, and he didn't know how to cover it up.
Princess Wansheng, seeing that Wukong could not refute her, thought she had hit the nail on the head and said:
"There are countless spiritual creatures here. I won't report you for stealing some, but you must promise me one thing."
Wukong asked, "What's the matter?"
Princess Wansheng said, "I beg you to see my cousin and ask him to save me. I am suffering so much here!"
Time is fleeting, and what's done is done.
Thirsty, they lick the remaining dew; hungry, they eat bitter herbs.
No one to accompany me, no relatives or friends. No seasons, no time of year.
Time flies by, and the years pass without a trace; the old and the new remain unchanged.
The cold hooks on my back often cause pain; they penetrate to the bone and tendons, causing even more heartache.
My toes trod on the Ginseng Herb, and many vulgar people laughed at me.
I only beg that he consider our kinship and close ties, and spare me from this humiliation, or rescue me, or redeem me, and take me out. I am willing to repay his kindness with my life, even unto death."
Wukong listened and said, "I'll tell you something, turn around."
Princess Wansheng then turned around and walked away.
Wukong then urinated, mixed it with mud, scooped it out, and returned to the hall.
Upon seeing this, Ao Tu couldn't help but laugh and said, "Where did you find this Filth thing?"
Wukong said, "This is something I searched for with great difficulty, Your True Lord. Please refine it!"
Ao Tu said, "There's too little Filthy Mud. If we were to mold a human figure, there wouldn't be enough material; we could only make a hollow shell. But without anything to support it, if we were to mold it out of thin air, it would collapse before it could even be burned. Does the Great Sage have anything that isn't afraid of fire to support it?"
Upon hearing this, Wukong sensed something was amiss and tentatively suggested, "How about I bring a piece of wood?"
Ao Tu asked, "Can wood withstand the Samadhi True Fire?"
Wukong said, "How about I bring some Copper and Iron?"
Ao Tu asked, "Can Copper and Iron withstand the Samadhi True Fire?"
Wukong was helpless.
Ao Tu laughed and said, "Since Great Sage wants to save people, why not suffer some injustice? This Filthy Mud is what Great Sage came from, so why should Great Sage find it disgusting?"
Upon hearing this, Wukong immediately realized that he had been seen through. He thought to himself that the old Daoist was very wicked and must be deliberately trying to trick him. However, he couldn't say anything.
Seeing this, the King of the Bhikshu Kingdom quickly crawled over and pleaded:
"Elder Sun, please have mercy and save me! You promised to save me when I came here, and now I only have half a body left. You must save me! Before, when I was homeless, I could still wander the streets. If I go back like this, I won't even be able to wander anymore!"
Upon hearing this, Wukong had no choice but to agree. He then spread the Filthy Mud out and smeared it on his face, chest, back, arms, legs, hands, feet, and tail...
Ao Tu said, "Alright, don't wipe off the tail. If you do, it'll turn into Monkey when it's burned."
The king of Bhikkhu said, "Yes! Yes!"
Ao Tu said, "This King is old and hunched over, so his height is about the same as others, but it would be better if his back was a little more hunched and his belly a little bigger!"
Upon hearing this, Wukong transformed, making his back hunch and his belly bulge.
The king of Bhikkhu said, "Immortal, since you are creating a new body, why not make me look younger?"
Ao Tu said, "If he were a good person, we would make him younger and add some lifespan. But you are an evil person, so you should be given twenty kinds of diseases as usual: Head Wind Stone on your head, Bone Spurs on your feet, Needle Eyes on your hands, holes in your intestines, a gaping hole in your heart, and muscle spasms, so that you will go mad in spring and autumn and suffer from pain in winter and summer."
Upon hearing this, the King of the Bhikshu Kingdom was terrified and broke out in a cold sweat.
Ao Tu said, "For the sake of the Great Sage, I will waive these. But if you dare to be greedy again, even a little more, you will suffer an additional illness."
The King of the Bhikshu Kingdom hurriedly replied, "I dare not."
Ao Tu then had Xiao Zhenying blow out the Samadhi True Fire to burn it. Because Xiao Zhenying's magical power was insufficient, it took several hours to finally burn the clay shell properly.
Wukong broke free from the mud shell.
Ao Tu threw the soul of the King of Bhikshu into the mud shell and instructed Xiao Zhenying to use the method of refining the first-stage golden elixir to merge the old king and the mud shell into one.
Xiao Zhenying's alchemy skills were not proficient, and she spent another seven or eight hours refining it before she could barely get it to about Seventy to Eighty Percent. Although there were some flaws, they were not serious.
Ao Tu then used his Power of Creation to revive it.
