Encountering a Monster at Zhenhai Temple (Seventeen)
Now, let's talk about the conflict between Ao Tu and the Styx Road.
People with different the Path often clash.
Both were exceptionally blessed. Ao Tu was born to fulfill the destiny of the times and later Attainment of the Dao; Minghe was a Primordial Heaven god, born from the Blood Sea.
In fact, the two share some similarities in terms of personality. Minghe is arrogant and sinister, showing no respect even to Sage. Ao Tu appears humble, but is equally wicked; he holds a grudge against anyone who has a grudge against him.
Today, for the sake of a slight difference in their the Path, the two unleashed their great magical power, mobilizing the Laws of Heaven and Earth, causing the Great Dao to roar and the Rules to tremble.
Ultimately, there wasn't really any deep-seated hatred between them.
Ao Tu merely wanted to seize the Blood Sea Land, establish the Evil Realm, and then suppress the Minghe, making it his Vice Sect Leader.
So what?
Ao Tu didn't even want Minghe's life!
It should be noted that when Ao Tu was extremely weak, Minghe disregarded his status and attacked him several times. Now, Ao Tu is not pursuing this matter but instead has appointed Minghe as the Vice Sect Leader. Such magnanimity is truly remarkable.
Minghe, however, was unmoved and led his Asura Clan in a full-scale resistance.
The Yuantu and Abi Swords, carrying Great Dao Ao Tu simultaneously, one above and one below.
Wherever it went, the killing intent transformed the demons and Asura fighting on the road into blood energy, which was then integrated into the sword.
Taibai Jinxing happened to be nearby. His expression changed slightly, and he used his longsword to block the attack. However, the Yuantu Sword swept past him, leaving a gash the size of a washbasin on his chest that would never heal.
Upon seeing this, Ao Tu knew that the old man Minghe was ruthless and unruly, disregarding the lives of his subordinates. So Ao Tu unfurled the three Treasure Banner: the Central Wuji Apricot Yellow Banner Flag transformed into billions of miles of mountains and rivers; the Northern Black Origin Water-Control Banner transformed into endless Heavenly River Mysterious Water; Southern Earth-Leaving Flame-Light Banner transformed into endless Earthfire.
Three Treasure Banner stretched endlessly, enveloping the entire Blood Sea Land and blocking the Slaughter path of the Yuantu and Abi Swords.
Ao Tu took out his Gourd and said to Taibai Jinxing, "Old Star, come quickly, I'll treat you."
Taibai Jinxing said, "No need to trouble yourself. This is just an Incarnation; its loss is no big deal."
Having said that, Taibai Jinxing ceased suppressing the wound on his chest and turned to ashes.
Not far away, an ordinary god who was fighting with Asura suddenly transformed into the appearance of Taibai Jinxing.
Ao Tu was not surprised when he saw this.
Immortals have countless incarnations, such as the Jade Emperor, the Queen Mother of the West, and the Three Pure Ones, who have endless incarnations in the Three Realms. Venus's actions are quite ordinary.
Now that Taibai Jinxing is unharmed, Ao Tu can focus on dealing with Minghe.
The three Treasure Banner surrounded the Yuantu and Abi Swords, and the swords' Slaughter techniques could not break through the Primordial Heaven Five Directional Banners, so they were unable to advance or retreat for a time. Seeing this, the Patriarch Styx had no choice but to step forward and personally take back the Yuantu and Abi Swords that had been surrounded.
This is a poor choice.
Holding the Seven Treasures Wonderful Tree, Ao Tu smashed it directly onto the head of the Patriarch Styx. Though simple, this was the method of Sage. Ao Tu had once glimpsed a scene of Ancient Times war, when the Shangqing Sage used the Zhuxian Sword Diagram to smash the Jieyin Sage's head in the same way.
The Patriarch Styx erected the Twelve-Rank Karmic Fire Red Lotus to resist the Seven Treasures Wonderful Tree. The Twelve-Rank Karmic Fire Red Lotus cast Auspicious Light, filling the sky with crimson energy, and its power enveloped the entire Blood Sea. It truly lived up to its reputation as a Twelve-Petaled Primordial Heaven Lotus Throne.
Ao Tu was overjoyed upon seeing this. He said, "Minghe, give me the Lotus Throne, and I will withdraw my troops!"
The Patriarch Styx sneered, "You brat, how dare you speak so arrogantly! When were you born, that you would dare to seize my Lotus Throne? At worst, you'll die. I am a Primordial Divine Saints, and I will be reborn in the next world alongside my Lotus Throne!"
Ao Tu laughed, "Wouldn't that mean we'd have to go to the next world? Besides, you've offended me; in the next world, I'll take your Lotus Throne!"
Upon hearing this, the Patriarch Styx's face turned extremely ugly.
Ao Tu said, "How about this? I'll compromise a bit. You lend me the Lotus Throne, and in return, you give up the Blood Sea and become a Vice Sect Leader under me. Then we'll call it even. What do you say?"
The Patriarch Styx asked, "How long do you want to borrow it for?"
Ao Tu said, "Old man, you're insatiable! I've already agreed to let you lend me the money, and you still want a time limit?"
Upon hearing this, the Patriarch Styx flew into a rage and exclaimed, "How dare you, you brat, insult me!"
After speaking, the Twelve-Rank Karmic Fire Red Lotus rose like a red sun, its Auspicious Light radiating outwards, shaking the Seven Treasures Wonderful Tree in Ao Tu. The Patriarch Styx held two Slaughter Great Dao in his hands, Yuantu and Abi, sensing the the Path, broke free from the Five Directional Banners and fell into the Patriarch Styx's hands.
The Patriarch Styx then sat on his Lotus Throne, drew his sword, and attacked Ao Tu, saying:
"You junior, you were born in a later era and succeeded by sheer luck. How dare you seize my Netherworld Blood Sea and make me your Vice Sect Leader? Today, you will test my the Path!"
Upon hearing this, Ao Tu sneered:
"Old man, what are you being so arrogant about in your final moments? Making you the Vice Sect Leader is already giving you a huge advantage!"
After speaking, Ao Tu shone with Holy Light light, revealing his the Path. He summoned the three Treasure Banner back to his side and inscribed his own Great Dao on them.
In a contest of the Path, what does Ao Tu have to fear?
Ao Tu wrote on the Central Wuji Apricot Yellow Banner: "I am the only one. My followers are all equal, regardless of race or origin. All must restrain their selfish desires, do good, and uphold righteousness."
The Northern Black Origin Water-Control Banner bears the inscription. "I shall be the only one. My followers shall be without arrogance, without prejudice, gentle and tolerant, calmly reflecting, refining themselves, and forbidding deception."
The Southern Earth-Leaving Flame-Light Banner bears the inscription. "I am the only one. My followers, life is a gift from me, do not harm yourselves. Those who uphold the righteous path will receive eternal blessings; those who oppress others will receive endless punishment."
Upon seeing this, Minghe sneered, "You brat, you're incredibly arrogant. You merely created the Human Race in the Northwestern Land. Did you create the China Human Race? I also created humans; I doubt you are far superior to me."
Ao Tu laughed and said, "I won't go to China to preach. As for how much better I am than you, we'll find out soon enough."
Upon hearing this, the Patriarch Styx drew his sword and charged.
Ao Tu threw down the three Treasure Banner, on which were written the Great Dao Treasure Banner Ao Tu. They then connected directly, transforming into a book with three chapters of doctrine. This book pressed down on the Patriarch Styx, even more heavily than Mount Buzhou had been. It pressed down on him until his spine cracked and he could not bear it. He could only hide in the Twelve-Rank Karmic Fire Red Lotus to barely escape.
When Ao Tu fought with the Taoist Jieyin, the Taoist Jieyin down three Treasure Banner with his thumb. At that time, the three Treasure Banner came together and seemed to be connected.
The Five Directional Banners are connected because they are of the same origin.
Ao Tu immediately realized that writing the Great Dao today was a natural progression. It was a pity that he only had three Treasure Banner. If he had gathered all five Five Directional Banners, he could have easily suppressed the Patriarch Styx.
The Patriarch Styx was suppressed under his banner and struggled to hold on.
Ao Tu said, "Self fellow Daoist, come and help me!"
Upon seeing the Self Corpse, it took out the Gratitude Bag, stretched it out into the sky, and unleashed endless resentment, striking the Twelve-Rank Karmic Fire Red Lotus, intending to put the Twelve-Rank Karmic Fire Red Lotus into the bag.
The Patriarch Styx was naturally unwilling, but he was helpless at this moment.
That Gratitude Bag was Merit Treasure, its power no less than that of a virtuous person. The Twelve-Rank Karmic Fire Red Lotus Jewel Light and struggled to withstand it, growing weaker with each passing moment.
