Taoist Baoshan, "All things arise from goodness, and all goodness grows through the Way. My supreme goodness surpasses your supreme humility."

A poem says:

The Great Dao is vast and boundless, its compassion extends to both the living and the dead.

There is no good without warmth, and no evil without life.

He extended benevolence to those in calamity and bestowed blessings upon all living beings.

All living beings, whether stirring or not, are bathed in the compassion of the Dao.

The Taoist Taiqian, "First came Taiqian, then Primordial Chaos, this is the Primordial Beginning, which gives birth to all things. My ultimate humility surpasses your ultimate goodness."

There is also a saying:

The Great Dao is the essence, and all methods are its applications.

The Gu Guai Diao Zuan said, "I don't understand. One person talks about ultimate goodness, about causing some kind of catastrophe to make all demons worship him; the other talks about ultimate humility, about all religions submitting to him or something."

The Diao Zuan Gu Guai said, "These must be two Old Immortal traveling here. Our Creation has arrived! Quickly, go and report to the Great King!"

The Gu Guai Diao Zuan, upon hearing this, hurried back to Leopard Head Mountain and Tiger's Mouth Cave. There, seven or eight Little Demon were playing at the cave entrance, some licking their fur, others rubbing their horns. Seeing the Gu Guai Diao Zuan return, they all asked:

"Gu Guai Diao Zuan, weren't you on patrol with Diao Zuan Gu Guai? Why are you back?"

The Gu Guai Diao Zuan said, "No, we encountered two Old Immortal who were talking about the Primordial Chaos and profound mysteries, which were truly difficult to understand. The cunning one is just watching; I'll return and report to the Great King!"

Upon hearing this, all the Little Demons were delighted and said:

"Such Creation! Where can we find such a place? It's as if Immortal has taken us as his disciples!"

The Gu Guai Diao Zuan said, "No! No! Look at your different appearances, with blue faces and red manes, wouldn't that offend the Immortal? I'd better go and report to the Great King!"

The Gu Guai Diao Zuan hurriedly replied, "Your Great King is unaware, but we have encountered an extremely joyous occasion!"

The Yellow Lion Spirit asked, "What joyous occasion could there be?"

The Gu Guai Diao Zuan said, "I was patrolling the mountain with Diaozuan when we encountered two Old Immortal on the summit, reciting immortal poems and speaking in Immortal language! We dared not disturb their divine presence, so Diaozuan stayed there to watch over them while I returned to report to the Great King!"

The Yellow Lion Spirit listened with skepticism, saying, "Really? Or are you trying to deceive this Great King?"

He said in Gu Guai Diao Zuan, "I wouldn't dare to lie. The Immortal are on the mountain. If Your Great King doesn't believe me, come with me to see!"

The Yellow Lion Spirit said, "Tell me a couple of lines from what that Immortal said."

He said in Gu Guai Diao Zuan, "I can't remember those Immortal words clearly, and I'm afraid I can't imitate them well."

The Yellow Lion Spirit cried out, "Tell me quickly! Tell me quickly!"

The Gu Guai Diao Zuan somehow managed to learn a couple of lines from the poems recited by Taoist Baoshan and Taoist Taiqian without really understanding what he was doing.

Upon hearing this, the Yellow Lion Spirit exclaimed with delight, "Truly, Immortal being has descended to earth!"

He said in Gu Guai Diao Zuan, "Your Great King, please come with me quickly, lest the Immortal depart if we are too late!"

The Yellow Lion Spirit said, "Let me go bathe and change first! Give me a few taels of silver and send this woman away, lest the Immortal see me and condemn me for being lewd."

He replied in Gu Guai Diao Zuan tone, "Yes."

The Yellow Lion Spirit hurriedly alighted from his throne and went to wash himself in the Back Mountain the cave. Then, remembering something, he pulled the Gu Guai Diao Zuan aside and said, "Be smart, don't let that woman extort you! We agreed to stay on the mountain for half a month, but it's only been six days."

He said Gu Guai Diao Zuan, "Your Great King, rest assured, I know the price."

Hearing this, the Yellow Lion Spirit felt relieved and rushed to the mountain spring to wash himself.

The Gu Guai Diao Zuan led the woman to withdraw a few taels of silver from the storeroom. The woman, however, complained that it wasn't enough and refused to leave, eventually extorting half a bolt of fine cloth before finally departing. Fearing the Great King's wrath, the Gu Guai Diao Zuan consulted with several Little Demon, balancing the accounts and evenly distributing the half bolt of cloth.

Here, the Yellow Lion Spirit dared not delay. In the time it takes to drink a cup of tea, he bathed, changed his clothes, and tidied his fur. He then called upon the Gu Guai Diao Zuan to go and pay homage to the Immortal.

The other Little Demon in the cave, seeing this, all wanted to follow.

Seeing that the Little Demon were all tigers, wolves, leopards, deer, and goats Yellow Lion Spirit feared they might be clumsy and offend the Immortal, and initially didn't want to take them along. Their appearances were like those of the heavens, their spirits like those of the immortals; their movements were accompanied by Celebration Cloud, their steps like jade scrolls; their voices were like those of the void, their words like those of the boundless. They were truly Immortal, otherworldly Immortal Household.

The Yellow Lion Spirit quickly brushed the dust off his clothes, and the Little Demons followed suit.

The Yellow Lion Spirit stepped forward, bowed deeply in reverence, and said, "I was unaware of the arrival of the two Immortal and failed to greet you. My apologies."

Upon hearing this, Taoist Baoshan and Taoist Taiqian turned around.

The Taoist Baoshan, "Who are you?"

The Yellow Lion Spirit said, "To be honest, you two Immortal, I am the master of the Tiger's Mouth Cave in this mountain."

Taoist Taiqian laughed and said, "So it's a yellow lion that has become a spirit."

Taoist Baoshan, "Are there only a few people here? Are there any others who are willing to learn the Dao? Bring them all here so I can see them."

The Yellow Lion Spirit hurriedly replied, "Yes! Yes! Please, you two Immortal, stay in my cave for now. I'll go and fetch some people."

The Taoist Taiqian, "We two have built a hut in this quiet place. You may leave now and do not disturb us."

Upon hearing this, the Yellow Lion Spirit simply retreated.

The lions said, "Grandfather, the Yellow Lion has encountered two Old Immortal who want to impart their teachings to us! This is an immense stroke of luck. The lions then received another gift.

The Nine-Spirit Primordial Sage rode on clouds and mist, the clouds swirling and the mist billowing, and hurried up the mountain.

Taoist Baoshan and Taoist Taiqian were sitting in front of the cliff, fishing.

The lions, seeing this, wondered what the fish was fishing for, and asked the Nine-Spirit Primordial Sage:

"Grandfather, look at those two Immortal sitting on the cliff, fishing out of thin air. What are they doing?"

When the Nine-Spirit Primordial Sage saw them, he stared intently at them, observing their appearances and attire, but he could not recognize them at all; he also looked at their cultivation and aura, but could not discern anything in them, and they were no different from Mortal.

For a moment, I couldn't make up my mind.

The Yellow Lion Spirit asked, "Grandfather, is it real or fake?"

The Suanni said, "Nonsense! Our Grandfather was beaten so badly he couldn't even stand up, how could he have any cultivation level?"

The Yellow Lion Spirit said, "How can I talk nonsense? Look, our Grandfather has cultivated a tenth head!"

Bai Ze examined it closely and said, "What? A tenth head? It's been beaten so badly that it's grown a huge bump, almost the size of a head!"

Having said that, he quickly went to help her up.

Nine-Spirit Primordial Sage was extremely terrified and dared not be helped. Swaying unsteadily, he prostrated himself before the Taoist Taiqian and said:

"Nine-Spirit Primordial Sage bows and pays homage to the Supreme Venerable of the Golden Palace. I have been ignorant and offended you; please forgive me!"

Upon seeing this, the lions knew it must be a hermit Immortal, and they quickly stepped forward to pay their respects, offering gifts and saying, "We beg the Old Immortal to impart his teachings."

Upon seeing them, Taoist Baoshan put down his fishing rod, examined the lions, and chuckled, "They do possess some Daoist aura."
