Viewing the Lanterns in Jinping Prefecture (I)
However, when the Spirit Mountain was relocated, two treasures were of utmost importance: the Bodhi Tree and the Eight Treasures Art.
Kasyapa led a group of Vajras Arhat in digging for many days and finally unearthed the precious tree. They wrapped the roots in brocade cloth and covered them with a layer of topsoil, waiting for it to be moved.
Kasyapa then went to report to the Tathagata Buddha, saying, "World-Honored One, the Bodhi Tree has been dug up, but we don't know when it will be moved to China?"
The Tathagata Buddha said, "Excellent! Once the Pilgrim Journey to the West, they can be moved to China."
Kasyapa then asked, "The precious tree is heavy; how will it be transported?"
The Tathagata Buddha said, "Let the Golden-Winged Great Peng seize it."
Upon hearing this, the Golden-Winged Great Peng cried out from on the Tathagata Buddha's shoulder, "Tathagata, I am hungry! I am hungry!"
The Tathagata Buddha said, "There are many people doing good deeds at the foot of that mountain; pick some and eat them!"
The Golden-Winged Great Peng was overjoyed and flew away.
The Tathagata brought him back, saying, "You can go after I've explained what happened."
Golden-Winged Great Peng was very dissatisfied, but he had no choice but to agree. He had no Scripture in his mind, and was only thinking about how to eat after he went down the mountain.
Kasyapa stood below.
The Tathagata Buddha said, "Kasyapa, you have done a great service by moving the tree, and the people of China are extremely grateful to you. Now go and move the Eight Treasures Art as well!"
Kasyapa agreed and was about to leave when he remembered something and turned back to ask, "World-Honored One, that precious pond is different from the precious tree. If it is moved, it will definitely have to be dismantled. Where will it be temporarily stored?"
The Tathagata Buddha said, "Storing it in the Treasure Pavilion is the safest option."
Kasyapa agreed.
Upon seeing this, Alu said, "In that case, I will go with Venerable Kasyapa."
The Tathagata Buddha said, "Very well."
The two then went downstairs.
The Tathagata Buddha was preaching in the hall.
Kasyapa and Alu came to the place of the Eight Treasures Art and taught people to move there.
Compared to the deep root system of the Bodhi Tree, the Eight Treasures Art is much easier to move.
Kasyapa's disciple, Arhat, first scooped out water from the pool, filling twenty immeasurable treasure jars, and said, "Please, Venerable Alu, measure it."
Alu called to the monk beside him who was preparing the scriptures, and said, "You measure the Dharani."
The Dharani was originally the work of the Sage Zhunti. He knew the Eight Treasures Art by heart, brick by brick, and without even looking at it, he wrote it down in the book.
Alu asked, "How did you write it?"
The Sage Zhunti Human Way, "The pool contains a total of 311 trillion and 40 billion drops of water."
Alu said, "How dare you! You haven't even looked at it, how can you write such nonsense?"
The Sage Zhunti then glanced at it and said, "The pool contains a total of 311 trillion and 400 billion drops of water."
Alu said, "Nonsense! How do you know there are such numbers? You have no understanding of Buddhist Dharma! Count them out for me!"
The Human Way Zhunti, "I wonder how the Venerable thinks it should be measured?"
Alu said, "Write, twenty vats of water."
The Sage Zhunti then wrote, "Twenty vats of water in the pond."
Kasyapa and the others were all delighted.
Therefore, the treasure pool was split up again.
Within that treasure pool, there were countless bricks and stones, all of which were Rare Treasures.
Kasyapa said, "Such a precious pool, I wonder how it should be divided?"
Alu said, "Venerable Kasyapa, the more detailed the better!"
Kasyapa asked, "Venerable Alu, what does this mean?"
Alu said, "Venerable Kasyapa, please come here."
Kasyapa then followed Alu.
Alu walked to a pavilion and invited Kasyapa to sit down. He took out a piece of glazed brick, cut it into several small pieces, picked out a few pieces, placed half in front of himself and half in front of Kasyapa, and then pieced the remaining fragments back together to form a complete piece of glazed brick.
Alu said, "Venerable, please look, by dismantling it, we can free up materials out of thin air, thus relieving the World-Honored One's burden!"
Kasyapa looked at them and took some more bricks from in front of Alu and placed them in front of himself.
Seeing this, Alu did not object and accepted the remaining bricks.
Kasyapa exclaimed with delight, "Venerable Alu's understanding is profound; I am ashamed to admit my inferiority."
Alu smiled and said, "There is something I would like to ask Venerable Kasyapa about."
Kasyapa said, "Please speak! Please speak! I will surely tell you everything!"
Alu said, "I heard that Venerable Ananda has entered the Reincarnation, and I don't know when he will return. I am currently in charge of the Treasure Pavilion, so I need to find out the details so that I can have a plan for advancement or retreat."
Kasyapa said, "Do not worry about this matter. Ananda's reincarnation is already in Spirit Mountain. He is just waiting for Tang Sanzang and his disciples to go up the mountain. He will have the merit of carrying them up, and then he can return. After he returns, I will instruct him to move to the Eastern Land and redistribute the seats. It is all up to the World-Honored One."
Upon hearing this, Alu asked, "The credit for lifting you up? Who was it?"
Kasyapa said, "It cannot be spoken! It cannot be spoken! Ananda, the Demon Dragon Demon Dragon has a Six-Eared Macaque under its mount, who can hear the Three Realms. If I tell you, and that Six-Eared Macaque hears it, Ananda will die."
Upon hearing this, Alu decided not to ask any further questions.
The monks and Arhat then dismantled the treasure pool, breaking down the bricks, stones, and rare Rare Treasures within into hundreds of baskets.
The Sage Zhunti was also quite insightful, and he recorded a hundred baskets of bricks and stones in the register, which pleased both Kasyapa and Alu.
Afterwards, the dismantled treasure pool was sent to the Treasure Pavilion for safekeeping. Due to the long distance, some pieces were inevitably lost. This is why there are so many Eight Treasures Art in Buddhist Temple all over China in the Future.
After sending Hong'er back to heaven, Ao Tu returned to the Flower Realm and instructed Jiangzhu to plant the Spiritual Root of the lychee tree. He then took out the previous rewards to examine them.
Taoist Technique: The Money Tree
This is Spellcraft of the Heavenly Court's Department of Wealth, and it is never passed on to outsiders.
This method can create Money Tree that scatters money.
In addition, there are "Treasure-Gathering Basin," "Wealth-Receiving Ding," and even the "Unlimited-Credit Black Card" for the Future, all of which are Department of Wealth Spellcraft used to collect Incense Offerings from the human world.
The Divine Weapon, the Nine-Petaled Golden Hammer, consisted of two large hammers. Both White Chi and the Little Red Bird found them too cumbersome, so they were bestowed upon Bai Ze.
The Houtian Spiritual Treasure - Sun Essence Needle is a divine needle refined from the Great Sun, specifically designed to subdue all evil, even surpassing the Star Lord Mao Ri's.
Ao Tu looked at it, then remembered something and took out the sundial from before.
The Sun Essence Needle lands perfectly on the sundial, and as it moves with the shadow of the sun, time flows Surrounding Region it as well.
However, in the current Heaven and Earth, the Dao Principles are already firmly established, and the sundial cannot have a significant impact.
The supernatural power of Great Immortal Zhenyuan, "Supernatural Ability in the Universe in the Sleeve Supernatural Ability," needs no further explanation.
With Swan Wings, the Swan soars high, covering a thousand miles in a single flight. Its wings are fully grown, ready to traverse the Four Seas.
As Ao Tu's cultivation level increased, he was able to tell that these were probably leftover materials from when he was refining the Five-Fire Seven-Bird Fan in the past.
The Eight Treasures Art - Incomplete: A treasure pool, ten zhang in diameter, fell down, pieced together from various broken materials, yet it was still quite complete.
Ao Tu couldn't help but wonder, could this be because he Future one day storm Spirit Mountain and fight against the Tathagata Buddha and Amitabha Buddha, causing the Dao Principles of the Dao to be obliterated, the treasures to crumble, and the Eight Treasures Art to be reduced to countless fragments, which were then pieced together by later generations, resulting in this state?
Based on this reasoning, Tathagata Buddha said he wanted to relocate, he certainly couldn't just leave directly. In the end, he still had to put on a show and test his strength.
Back when the Three Pure Ones separated, the Sage of Shangqing also went against the tide, and only when there was nothing left to fight did he quell the conflict.
Buddhism is as flourishing today as it was in the past.
With this in mind, Ao Tu decided it was best not to linger in the Flower Realm any longer and prepared to return to the Blood Sea to oversee the training of his troops.
Just then, Jiangzhu came over, carrying a cup of freshly made lychee Immortal Tea.
Ao Tu thought to himself that training soldiers could be left to Styx, and obstructing the Journey to the West to the Minghe could be done by his clone.
He then accepted the Immortal Tea and held Jiangzhu in his arms.
