Konoha's main force had already withdrawn. Carrying the unconscious Bunpuku, Liu Feng used the Flying Thunder God Technique to appear beside Nawaki.

Liu Feng gave those few a deep look before turning and leaving.

After leaving, Liu Feng wore a thoughtful expression. Had they really been sent by the Third Hokage?

Whatever. Even if something really happened, it had nothing to do with him. They had the Third Hokage's written order, after all, so Liu Feng went to rest without any burden.

That night, an explosion suddenly erupted where the One-Tail Jinchuriki was being held.

"ROAR!!!"

The beastly roar could be heard even ten kilometers away. The entire Konoha Camp descended into chaos as sleeping ninja woke and stared in horror at the gigantic monster in the darkness.

"What happened? Why did this happen? Wasn't the One-Tail Jinchuriki sealed? Weren't your people guarding him, Danzo?"

Hiruzen Sarutobi looked at Danzo with a grim expression.

Liu Feng had originally been the guard, but Danzo had approached Hiruzen Sarutobi and said that Uchiha Liu Feng was untrustworthy and absolutely could not be allowed to watch over him.

What if he had designs on the One-Tail and transferred it away? Danzo had therefore suggested that his own people guard the One-Tail Jinchuriki.

After considering it carefully, Hiruzen Sarutobi had agreed that Uchiha Liu Feng was indeed untrustworthy. What if he extracted the One-Tail and sealed it inside an Uchiha Clan Member?

Hiruzen Sarutobi had been worried about that too, so he agreed to let Danzo's people guard the One-Tail Jinchuriki.

But now the One-Tail had broken free from its seal. Clearly, it was definitely related to Danzo. Danzo was probably plotting for the Tailed Beast as well.
