• Yue Wen, Zhao Xing'er, and Qi Dian killed the Hu Family elder in the tomb, then found a seven-tailed Dao Realm fox and took the pearl from its mouth.
• Yue Wen damaged the Fox Demon’s corpse and injected it with corpse madness potion, causing it to awaken and attack Fan Baimo when he came to claim it.
• Mountain-Moving Tiger ambushed Yue Wen’s group, but Perfected One Fengguang arrived and captured him after Yue Wen drew out his confession.

Yue Wen secured Immortal Dew Valley and helped the Supernatural Affairs Bureau dismantle Flame Ghost Hall's operation. After celebrating New Year and uncovering clues about his parents at Snake Mountain, he prepared for the City Heroes' Battle while Hu Hanyi plotted his death.

• Yue Wen became master of Immortal Dew Valley and handed the separated Fox Demon's Secret Realm to Perfected One Nagiko in exchange for access to confiscated corpse puppets.
• Yue Wen funded Chang Yunguan's film to secure talismans and learned the Dragon Pool Carp-Pincering Art from Da Long.
• Yue Wen brought Perfected One Nagiko and Perfected One Tongguang into Fan Baiyan's operation disguised as corpse puppets, but Gongsun Yan betrayed the plan to Dai Muhun.

Yue Wen conquered the Demon-Locking Secret Realm, learned more about his parents’ disappearance, and grew famous after the challenge qualifiers. As the City Heroes' Battle began, he and his companions entered a secret realm governed by Nightmare Town’s dangerous rules.

• Liu Yuanjun learned from Li Flying Rosy Clouds that her memories and identity had persisted through reincarnation, while Su Yun asked Yue Wen to investigate deaths caused by a possible Soul-Eating Nightmare Wraith.
• Qi Dian completed Great Fire Astral Refining, proved his new shield against Wen Tai, and learned that dozens of disciples wanted to challenge the Agency.
• Yue Wen entered the Demon-Locking Secret Realm and killed several demon beasts, using repeated attempts and new pills from Da Long to defeat the Hanging-Lantern Celestial Beast.
• After Yue Wen left the secret realm, Perfected One Nagiko told him that his parents had traced the Dragon Clan’s disappearance to a Demon Race Spatial Rift, and Yue Wen became a sensation among the public.
• Yue Wen found a notebook in Duanmu Lei’s Storage Artifact listing Wang Miaomiao and Shen Nana among victims whose souls had been devoured, and Su Yun suspected the Soul-Controlling Sect was involved.
• As the City Heroes' Battle approached, Yue Wen prepared with a self-repairing treasure garment and soul cultivation, while Xiao Chubei warned him about the Medicine Dragons linked to the Body Tempering Sect.

Yue Wen exploited Nightmare Town’s hidden economy and cleared its final trial before accepting last place in the Rankings Tournament in exchange for a new sword art. At the Breakout Tournament, he began advancing with overwhelming wins while Hu Hanyi’s plan against him began to emerge.

• At Zhao Xiaoli’s matchmaking ceremony, Qi Dian was chosen by the embroidered ball but rejected by Xiaoli, and Yue Wen reorganized the Agency by recruiting contestants to share its commissions.
• Yue Wen discovered the townspeople’s profitable night market, caught valuable dragonfish, and used the proceeds to forge the Blazing Sun Fist, which he wielded against powerful Nightmare Wraith Creatures.
• Yue Wen entered the Yin Qi cave and destroyed its creatures and collected its stones before the other contestants arrived for the scheduled final trial.
• Perfected One Nagiko negotiated with Yue Wen after he disrupted the trial, and he accepted last place in the Rankings Tournament in exchange for keeping the Blazing Sun Fist and learning the Divine Sword Thunder Command Art.
• Yue Wen bought two cultivation techniques and upgraded his sword, while his thunder art struck Qi Dian with lightning and Hu Yunting recognized the technique.
