Clover Town, the venue for the Guild Master's Regular Meeting-
The meeting had lasted several days, and most of the official business had been settled. By now, it had become nothing more than leisure time for the guild masters.
The guild masters gathered in twos and threes to drink and chat, filling the hall with laughter.
In the liveliest corner of the venue, Guild Master Makarov stood on a table, slightly tipsy and utterly unconcerned with his dignity, bobbing his head theatrically as he drank with the others.
Holding a glass in one hand, he kept patting the boy beside him on the arm with the other, loudly boasting to his old friends gathered around:
"Ah, young people these days. They worry far too much."
"Look at this boy from my guild. He insisted he couldn't rest easy letting these old bones come to the meeting alone, so he volunteered to come along."
"I couldn't stop him!"
"Right, Blanc?"
Hearing his name, Blanc maintained a polite smile and obligingly nodded to his guild master.
"Ah, yes, that's right."
Makarov waved his little hand, carried away with pride.
"Come on, say hello to the guild masters."
Blanc heaved a long inward sigh, then resigned himself to stepping forward. He bowed slightly, wearing an innocent, well-behaved smile.
"Hello, guild masters. I'm Blanc from Fairy Tail. It's a pleasure to meet you."
"Oh my, my, my-"
Beside them, the wings of Bob, Blue Pegasus's guild master, suddenly began flapping wildly.
With light ballet steps, he floated right up to Blanc, his eyes gleaming alarmingly.
"This child is the Forest Blanc everyone's been talking about?!"
"I never imagined you'd look so cute and refined in person. From all the rumors, I thought you'd be some hulking brute with a thuggish face~"
