"Since you're so great, why don't you stop running?" Xi Feng shot Duke Everlue a scornful glance, his expression full of contempt.
"Damn it!! I'm furious!! Virgo, get him!!"
"Yes!!" Virgo nodded and lunged straight at Xi Feng.
"Ugh..." Looking at Virgo's enormous bulk, Xi Feng felt his stomach churn. He seriously questioned the duke's taste.

"Pretty girl Virgo's flying attack!"
Virgo charged toward Xi Feng, then leaped into the air to crush him beneath her weight.
"Ugh..." If this had been the slim version of Virgo, Xi Feng would certainly have let her land on him. But this gorilla version made him sick to his stomach.
"Virgo's so cute, yet you made her look like this. Damn you!" Xi Feng swung a fist, sending Virgo flying backward.
"Ah!!" Seeing Xi Feng knock Virgo away, the duke cried out, then shouted furiously, "Damn it!! You sent my adorable Virgo flying! Unforgivable!!"
"Panishu Brothers, get out here!" Duke Everlue pointed at Xi Feng and roared, his face twisting hideously.
"Is it time to work?"
"Mom will scold us if we take the money without working!"
The moment Duke Everlue finished speaking, two figures appeared in front of Xi Feng. One held an enormous frying pan, while the other was exceptionally large, standing a full head taller than his companion.
"Panishu Brothers, kill him!" Duke Everlue ordered.
"A Fairy Tail Mage?" The man holding the frying pan gave Xi Feng a contemptuous glance, not taking him seriously at all.
"You'll scare Mom to death!" The more muscular man looked at Xi Feng and said something that left him utterly speechless.
"The Panishu Brothers from the Southern Wolf mercenary guild?" Xi Feng glanced indifferently at them, then turned his gaze back to Duke Everlue, ignoring the pair entirely.
"Panishu Brothers, hurry up and finish him! Kill him, and I'll double your pay!" Seeing Xi Feng look at him, Duke Everlue felt no sense of safety whatsoever, even behind the Panishu Brothers. Terrified, he urged them on and even doubled their reward.
"You're far too arrogant, Fairy Tail Mage!" Already furious at being ignored by Xi Feng, the Panishu Brothers were about to strike. Hearing Duke Everlue's offer, they held nothing back and attacked Xi Feng together.
"Xi Feng, watch out!!" Lucy, who was standing behind him, couldn't help crying out as the Panishu Brothers charged.
"Just a couple of ants." Hearing Lucy's warning, Xi Feng merely smiled faintly.
"Stop looking down on people!!" Enraged by Xi Feng's words, the Panishu Brothers closed in and unleashed a flurry of punches and kicks.
Bang, bang, bang! The Panishu Brothers attacked relentlessly, but Xi Feng deflected or dodged every strike with ease.
"Too slow. Too weak." Xi Feng spoke casually as he dodged. "Let me teach you what real fighting looks like."
As he spoke, Xi Feng seized the elder Panishu brother's arm and sent him flying with a shoulder throw.
"Brother!!" the younger Panishu brother cried out. Just then, Xi Feng's voice came from behind him. "Before you worry about someone else, you should worry about yourself."
The words had barely left his mouth when the younger Panishu brother felt a tremendous force strike his back.
With a bang, he flew backward and rolled several times across the ground before coming to a stop.
"Little brother, are you all right?"
"I'm fine. What about you, big brother?"
"I'm fine." The brothers climbed to their feet and stared gravely at Xi Feng. Finally, the elder Panishu brother said, "Little brother, let's use our finishing move."
"All right!!"
"Here we go! Heaven and Earth Annihilation Technique!"
The Panishu Brothers roared, whipping the frying pan upward with all their strength.
Xi Feng instinctively looked at the man flying into the sky, only for a voice to sound beside his ear, saying the exact opposite.
"You think we're in the sky, but we're actually on the ground!"
The elder Panishu brother appeared right at Xi Feng's feet and launched a sweeping kick. Xi Feng reacted quickly, however, and dodged it with ease.
"You think we're on the ground, but we're actually in the sky!"
Another contradictory shout rang in everyone's ears. Xi Feng instinctively looked up again and saw the younger Panishu brother swinging a fist at him.
"What a trashy finishing move..."
Xi Feng spoke indifferently as he caught the younger Panishu brother's fist, then hurled him at his older brother.
With a bang, both brothers slammed into the wall and passed out.
"All right, now it's your turn!!" Xi Feng glanced at the unconscious brothers, then slowly walked up to Duke Everlue.
"What! What are you going to do to me?!" Duke Everlue was terrified as Xi Feng drew closer.
"Whatever you want, I can give it to you!!"
"Really?" Xi Feng smiled. That was exactly what he had been waiting to hear. "Where's the study?"
"Over there, over there!" Duke Everlue hurriedly pointed, afraid of angering Xi Feng.
"Lucy, go look for that book in the study." Once he knew where it was, Xi Feng turned and spoke to Lucy.
"Oh, right..." Lucy, who had been stunned the whole time, immediately snapped out of it at Xi Feng's words and headed into the study.
After watching Lucy enter the study, Xi Feng turned back to Duke Everlue. The duke immediately said respectfully, "Honored Mage, is there anything else you need?"
"Give me the Celestial Spirit Key for Virgo of the Twelve Zodiac!" Without the slightest hesitation, Duke Everlue handed Xi Feng Virgo's key, even taking the initiative to cancel his contract.
"I've already canceled my contract with Virgo." Duke Everlue looked at Xi Feng fawningly, saying nothing about the negative consequences of voluntarily canceling it.
"You can get lost now."
"Yes, yes!" Duke Everlue bowed and scraped as he hurried out.
I wonder if I can form a contract with a celestial spirit. Looking at Virgo's key in his hand, Xi Feng decided to give it a try. After all, he quite liked Virgo, and she was no less loyal than Aquarius. Although he felt a little bad for Lucy, he could make it up to her later.
"Come forth, Virgo, celestial spirit of the Maiden!" Xi Feng waved the key, pouring powerful magic into it. A distinctive gate appeared immediately afterward, shimmering with dazzling colors.

"Come forth, Virgo, celestial spirit of the Maiden!" Xi Feng waved the key, pouring powerful magic into it. A distinctive gate appeared immediately afterward, shimmering with dazzling colors.
As soon as the gate formed, a girl with cherry-blossom-pink hair, blue eyes, and chained cuffs around her wrists slowly stepped through. She knelt on one knee before Xi Feng with utmost respect.
"Master, are you my new contractor?" Virgo wore a maid outfit, and both her manner and tone were exactly those of a real maid.
"Ahem. Virgo, stand up first." Looking at the earnest Virgo, Xi Feng was thoroughly pleased. Now he had a maid of his own.
"Yes, Master." Virgo stood at Xi Feng's words without saying anything unnecessary.
"Phew!" Seeing Virgo's appearance, Xi Feng finally breathed a sigh of relief. He hadn't wanted her to emerge looking like a female gorilla again. Although Virgo changed her appearance to suit her contractor's preferences, he reckoned he might not have been able to stop himself from hitting her if he saw that gorilla form again.
"I look forward to working with you, Virgo." Xi Feng gave her a sunny smile.
"Mm." Virgo nodded and said to Xi Feng, "Please discipline me well from now on, Master."
"Uh..." Looking at Virgo's perfectly serious expression, Xi Feng felt a little embarrassed. Always talking about discipline... I like it.
"Ahem..." Xi Feng coughed a few times, composed himself, and said, "Virgo, return to the Celestial Spirit World for now. I'll call you when I need you."
"Yes, Master." Virgo nodded, then dissolved into specks of starlight.
After Virgo returned to the Celestial Spirit World, Xi Feng headed to the study as well.
Upon entering, he saw Lucy intently reading the book in her hands. Xi Feng didn't disturb her, simply sitting beside her and watching.
"I never imagined such an ordinary-looking book could hide a secret like this!" After a while, Lucy took off her magic glasses, her face filled with shock. When she noticed Xi Feng sitting beside her, she immediately said, "Levy, we absolutely can't burn this book. The client has to know the secret hidden in it!"
"That's fine, but..." Xi Feng smiled, giving Lucy a wicked look.
"But what?" Seeing Xi Feng's wicked expression, Lucy hugged the book and asked a little fearfully.
"When we get back, put on a maid outfit for me in private, and take good care of me."
"You..." Hearing Xi Feng's words, Lucy flushed with embarrassment and indignation. In the end, however, she nodded. "Fine, I agree, you pervert!!"
"Okay." Xi Feng smiled, looking as though his devious plan had succeeded.
Everything that followed went just as it had in the original story. Lucy gave the book to the client and told him its secret.
As time passed, Lucy began to settle into guild life and grew completely accustomed to Fairy Tail's daily routine.
"I really regret giving up those two million J." Looking at her thin wallet, Lucy felt her heart ache. Why had she tried to show off back then?
"No, I have to work hard on jobs, or I'll end up sleeping on the streets!!"
After reaching the job board, Lucy began browsing the requests. There were so many different types, however, that she couldn't decide which one to take.
"Is there a job you'd like to do? You can come to me. The master's gone to a regular meeting," Mira said gently as she walked over to Lucy.
"A regular meeting?"
"They just give reports about their guilds." As she spoke, Mira borrowed Lusuda's light pen and drew in the air while explaining it to Lucy.
"So that's how it works..." After hearing Mira's explanation, Lucy nodded in understanding.
