"Seal the third coffin!"
Kakashi's Mangekyo spun until it hurt. Kamui forcibly caught half of the third coffin, twisting the space within the purple wall of fire until it darkened, yet the lid kept pushing outward.
The Third Hokage swung the Adamantine Staff at the first coffin. Enma's voice came from within the staff.
"Sarutobi, we can't let them out."
Orochimaru stepped on the Impure World Reincarnation runes, and blood seeped from beneath his foot into the formation.
"Teacher, now you're getting anxious?"
The Third Hokage roared, "Orochimaru, you've desecrated the previous Hokage! Your crimes are unforgivable!"
"Crimes?"
Orochimaru gave an icy laugh and pointed at the water mirrors throughout the village.
"You're talking to me about crimes? When you saw my laboratory back then, why didn't you kill me?"
Those words checked the Third Hokage's swing. The Adamantine Staff grazed the coffin lid and struck off target, widening the gap in the first coffin.
When the civilians in the square heard this, their curses suddenly quieted, then rose again.
"What laboratory?"
"The Third Hokage had already discovered Orochimaru?"
"Didn't he say Orochimaru's defection came out of nowhere?"
Sasuke raised his hand, signaling Yamada Naoto to put the second piece of evidence on the water mirrors.
Yamada Naoto swallowed.
"Clan leader, once this goes out, the Third Hokage will have no way to salvage the situation."
"That's exactly what I want."
The images on the water mirrors changed again. The slaughter at the Land of Wind's border was pushed to the left, while footage of an underground laboratory unfolded on the right.
Orochimaru stood beside an operating table. Several Sound Ninja carried away body bags, and Danzo's Root Ninja handed over sealed boxes bearing Konoha's old supply stamp.
The Third Hokage's expression changed.
"Sasuke, where did you get these?"
