The Third Hokage's shout pierced through the square, and many people's gazes simultaneously fell onto the signal gun in Sasuke's hand.
Sasuke's hand did not lower. "Reason."
The Third Hokage stared at the Fire Seal Box within the water mirror, the muscles on his face tightening. "That might be a spare seal passed down from the First, and it cannot be destroyed in a chaotic battle."
Yamazaki Masanari stood up. "The Daimyo's Residence never authorized Konoha to privately establish a second Hokage Seal."
Shikaku pushed the map aside. "That makes it even more troublesome. Danzo entering the village with a fake special order and an unknown Hokage Seal already constitutes forging a political decree."
Sasuke looked at Neji. "Did you see the box clearly?"
Neji adjusted his Byakugan angle at the other end of the water mirror. "The outer layer of the box has a fire seal, the inner layer has a black seal, and a Root cursed seal is stabbed into the chest of the Box-Holding Guard. Danzo is treating him as a mobile sealed box."
The Third Hokage gritted his teeth. "Seize the box first; do not unleash firepower."
Fugaku said coldly, "He led troops to charge into the village, and you are still speaking up for the box?"
"That is a Hokage heirloom."
"Passed into Danzo's hands, it becomes nothing more than evidence of a crime."
Danzo's main force had already approached the Hokage Building square. The front-row Root members raised explosive tags, the rear-row ninja wove wind release hand seals, the torches on both sides of the empty street were blown out by the wind, and only the metal reflection of the Uchiha Tower Shield remained at the front of the square.
