The small arcane golem carrying Ulthalesh walked toward the camp the orcs had built at the entrance to the Black Morass.

Herad had flown back and forth many times the day before, familiarizing himself with the terrain of Deadwind Pass and the location of the orc camp.

A great canyon ran from south to north, splitting Deadwind Pass into eastern and western halves.

The mage tower of Karazhan stood at the southernmost end of the canyon.

Originally, to keep watch over this sinister, haunted mage tower, the orcs had built their camp on the only route out of it.

They intended to seal off the sinister, haunted mage tower completely.

With their way blocked, the Black Knights naturally showed them no mercy.

Led by their leader, a dozen or so Black Knights charged the camp again and again, forcing their way through.

These undying beings had actually forced the orc camp to relocate north, opening up a road to Brightwood.

It was humiliating, and it would compromise the safety of future passage.

But if they truly kept fighting a war of attrition against the Black Knights, no amount of troops would be enough.

After relocating to northern Deadwind Pass, closer to the Black Morass, the orc camp suffered no further attacks from the Black Knights.

The squad of Black Knights, whose mission was to collect artifacts, had no interest in these foreign invaders.

As long as the orcs did not block their way, they would not go out of their way to attack the camp.

The small arcane golem and elite fire elementals, however, had someone directing them from behind the scenes and had come specifically for the orc camp.

The elite fire elementals' orders, though, were to assist the small arcane golem in battle.

They set fires all along
