The Burning Legion had extensive plans for Draenor.
They could not possibly give up on this place easily.
What made Draenor most special was that Kil'jaeden and Sargeras had personally intervened to establish a stable connection with Azeroth.
This was the fruit of those two great powers' efforts, and no demon dared take it lightly.
Thus, even though Herad had made a complete mess of the Dark Portal, these Burning Legion lackeys had no intention of giving up.
A very strict power limit had been imposed on the Dark Portal, preventing higher-level units from passing through.
But there were ways to undo such restrictions.
Once the Burning Legion's mages cracked the teleportation restrictions, invading Azeroth again would be no problem.
Having learned from their earlier mistakes, the demon commanders changed their strategy and established numerous bases across Draenor, some out in the open and others hidden.
Eliminating those bases would require searching all of Draenor once, or even several times.
Draenor had vast oceans and a pitiful amount of land.
Still, it at least had a whole continent, rather than being Outland, which Ner'zhul had blasted to pieces.
Finding deliberately concealed bases across tens of millions of square kilometers of land was as difficult as finding a needle in a haystack.
The demon commanders' guerrilla strategy was extremely troublesome!
Faced with these infuriating guerrilla tactics, Herad could only assign Ulthalesh to patrol the continent's important regions.
Whenever it discovered a Burning Legion base, it would destroy it.
Although it could not possibly clear them all out, it could still suppress them and bleed them steadily.
After Herad's continuous strengthening, Ulthalesh's artifact soul could now easily subdue powerful souls.
The stronger the souls, the more anima they could provide.
Infused with ample anima, Ulthalesh's blade could cleave through practically anything!
