But that scale only held up in comparison with Azeroth's natives.
On Earth, it would have counted as a large industrial park at most.
But a world of magic was a wondrous place!
It could not be judged simply by its size.
There were not many Gnome and Goblin Engineers in the Armory.
But they could cobble together quite advanced robots entirely by hand.
Apart from the large metal components, they could handcraft every part, including the chips.
Every Gnome or Goblin Engineer could handcraft a few robots to serve as helpers in a relatively short time.
As long as enough resources were supplied, they could build a complete industrial system.
Of course, that was not enough for Gnomes and Goblins to dominate the world through Engineering.
What truly allowed these two technological races to establish themselves on Azeroth was, in fact, the abundance of spellcasters among their people.
In fact, even those Engineers were spellcasters themselves.
Otherwise, how could they possibly handcraft something requiring such extreme precision as a chip?
As for the Engineers using magical power to handcraft chips,
Herad had initially been quite speechless.
But both Gnomes and Goblins had pitifully small populations.
And a seemingly tiny chip required a vast industrial system to support its production!
If they really tried to establish a proper chip production chain, even the entire workforce of their race would not have been enough!
That was why they had remained stuck with the makeshift approach of handcrafting chips.
This makeshift approach continued even at the Island Armory, with its powerful magical energy supply.
Building a proper chip production chain required far too much manpower and material investment!
Rapidly industrializing chip production was impossible.
