Herad surveyed the satyr demons lounging on the distant hillside and offered a suggestion to Tyrande, who was operating the Light Quad Mech.
"These satyr demons aren't very strong. We can bombard them with cheap grenades first, then let the other troops get a share of the action."
Tyrande nodded in full agreement at his suggestion.
"Yes, their lives aren't worth much. They certainly aren't worth wasting expensive ammunition on."
The satyr demons had chosen a terrible location for their camp.
They occupied a spot halfway up a large mountain beside the road.
To the east of the camp was a steep cliff, and to the west was a sheer mountainside.
An encirclement along the mountain paths to the north and south would trap them halfway up the mountain.
The Light Quad Mech rapidly climbed the southern mountain path.
The Huntresses continued along the main road, then quickly blocked the exit of the northern mountain path.
They prepared to complete the encirclement of the satyr demons.
The satyr demons, who bullied the weak and feared the strong, watched the strange vehicle charging up the mountain path with considerable indecision.
The strange vehicle was made of steel and looked like something they should not mess with.
But simply running away would be too embarrassing.
Before they could reach a final decision, the Light Quad Mech attacked them.
It began firing 40 mm grenades at the low rate of one round per second.
Yet this supposedly low rate of fire battered the satyr demons mercilessly!
They had no material foundation on Azeroth.
They relied entirely on robbery to meet their needs for weapons and equipment.
Neither the Night Elves nor the furbolgs were races with decent armor.
The unfortunate satyr demons could only serve as unarmored or lightly armored units.
