Herad was so enthusiastic about making larger Arcane Golems because he had been led astray by the Burning Legion's Fel Reavers, dozens of meters tall, in the game.
In reality, the Burning Legion's Mo'arg Engineers did not have such wild imaginations.
Those fellows had no interest in giant Mechs, preferring to devote themselves to bodily modification.
For instance, they turned Felguards into cyborg Felguards.
Although they looked very cool on the outside.
Their defenses did not actually improve much.
They were still the sort of thing a single shot from an RPG launcher could take out.
The difference was that bodies of flesh and blood would be blasted into tiny pieces.
Cyborg bodies could at least leave behind relatively intact metal parts.
But Mo'arg Engineers were the type who would not turn back until they hit a brick wall.
That was because they had achieved glorious results in bodily modification that they could take pride in!
There was absolutely no way they would give up those achievements easily!
Try as he might, Herad could not understand how these mad scientists thought.
They had clearly already attained immortality, so why research this useless mechanical ascension?
Still, it was just as well that they did not like building giant Mechs.
If they really built those things, dealing with them would take some effort.
In the game, a few players could take down a Fel Reaver.
In reality, however, such a thing would be a land-based juggernaut that even ten thousand people would struggle to defeat.
After all, anything that could power a massive machine weighing thousands of tons had to have a terrifyingly high energy level!
Herad was enthusiastic about increasing the tonnage and size of Arcane Golems precisely because this aspect of the Burning Legion's design in the game made so
