As the Devilsaur chased the ravasaurs, slaughtering them to vent its pent-up anger, it discovered that those fools fleeing in blind panic had actually led it near Fire Plume Ridge.

It had followed the smaller animals all that way because it, too, feared that Fire Plume Ridge might suddenly erupt.

Having finally settled down, it had been ready to kill these creatures to soothe its temper.

Yet these damned creatures insisted on running toward this accursed place!

Looking at the scorching lava flowing down Fire Plume Ridge, the Devilsaur did not want to keep chasing them.

What if lava happened to erupt from the summit and shower it as it passed the foot of the mountain? Just imagining it was terrifying!

Watching those little creatures determined to keep running ahead, the Devilsaur ultimately failed to rein in its violent temper.

Just when it felt it could pass safely, the ground beneath its feet suddenly turned into a mire, trapping its two long legs.

The mire exerted an inexplicable suction, and no matter how hard it struggled, it could not break free.

This was an inevitable outcome.

Fighting the mire's suction meant fighting the Hammer of Khaz'goroth.

Although the Devilsaur was enormous and immensely strong, too.

Resisting the power of the Pillars of Creation was absolutely impossible!

It was a powerful artifact capable of tearing continents apart.

After bringing it completely under control, Herad continued extracting obsidian from the lava.

The Devilsaur would not go missing if he left it there, so naturally, he handled the important matter first.

Trapped helplessly in the mire, the Devilsaur stared in panic at the mud enveloping its thighs.

A mere mud pit had actually trapped it!

Watching the ravasaurs grow ever more distant, it raised its head and roared furiously at the sky.

"Roooaar!"
