Yet the plump Voidwalkers had no problems at all, even when the energy conduits stretched them into noodles.
But Herad did not think a colossus like Dimensius could squeeze into energy conduits that were little more than small water pipes.
When Dimensius had appeared earlier, he had been a mass of deep blue mist roughly two hundred meters in diameter.
That was about the same size as what Shaffar had seen back then.
Energy beings were unusual, and their strength could not be judged by their size.
Shaffar understood that very well.
But Dimensius, known as the Devourer of All Worlds, certainly could not be judged by ordinary standards.
A powerful being who surpassed ordinary deities certainly had to be treated to the highest specifications.
Herad thought it would be appropriate to start by increasing the minimum size of the energy conduits a hundredfold.
So the half-meter-wide energy conduits would have to become fifty meters wide.
After hearing the plan Herad had come up with off the top of his head, Shaffar rejected it without hesitation.
"Energy conduits fifty meters wide? That is absolutely impossible!"
Fifty meters and half a meter sounded like a hundredfold difference.
But when applied to conduits, it was a ten-thousandfold difference!
To Shaffar, Herad was an unrealistic leader.
The kind who merely moved his lips while making his subordinates run themselves ragged.
But Herad could naturally do that simple arithmetic.
Everyone knew that even a slight increase in diameter could bring a qualitative improvement.
Could a 125-millimeter artillery piece compare in power to a 155-millimeter one?
