Thanks to the Ethereal fleet's efforts, conditions on K'aresh, which resembled the Lava Planet, had improved considerably.
The once blazing, dazzling sea of magma had grown dull and dark.
In the area where the Ethereal fleet had gathered, the beginnings of a continent had even appeared.
The scorching magma in that area had been frozen into rock by Frost rays.
In the tug-of-war between ice and fire, these rocks would gradually accumulate, growing larger and larger.
And they would join up with rocks in other areas.
Like Antarctica on Earth, they were piling up an Antarctic continent out of ice and snow despite having no land beneath them!
Watching the continent take shape, the Ethereals' joy was beyond words.
Yet eyes from the dark Void were glaring viciously at the busy Ethereals.
Dimensius, the Devourer of All Worlds, had actually been watching the Ethereals' movements all along.
When Dimensius devoured K'aresh back then, the Ethereals had been the only race on the planet to escape.

And so, without knowing it, the Ethereals had ended up in Dimensius's little book of grudges.
They were its only entry, at that.
The Ethereals hated Dimensius.
Dimensius hated the Ethereals just as much.
To Dimensius, these Arcane energy beings were wicked, unwilling to obediently await death.
That meant they were opposing the great Devourer of All Worlds.
But revenge was not so easy!
With such a slow movement speed, Dimensius could never catch any Ethereal.
Even the weakest Ethereal could leave Dimensius far behind.
The Ethereals also very much wanted to kill Dimensius.
But that desire for revenge had not reached the point of
