The message warned Xu Changxing not to rely on external things, while Bosen’s revelations about the Abyss Lord Clan left Xu Changxing suspecting the Final Tribulation was near.

• After Li Changge explained that the Abyss Great Overlord had escaped High Person Sanshou, Xu Changxing took a jade pendant and went to investigate.
• Xu Changxing used the Great Dao Painting Scroll to locate a humanoid Abyss Great Overlord in a blood-colored valley.
• The Abyss Great Overlord told Xu Changxing that Tianyuan had entrusted him with a warning against relying on the Heavenly Dao Painting or the Grotto-Heaven as a crutch.

Xu Changxing subdued the Earth Ghost Clan and ordered them to remain hidden while supporting his plans. After returning to the Tianyan Sect and settling its affairs, he visited Daoist Wuchen and showed him a vision of Tianyuan, asking whether he recognized him.

• Xu Changxing used the Heavenly Dao Painting to suppress the Myriad Immortals Alliance, then entered at the invitation of someone inside and met Immortal Venerable Zhili.

Six Daluo awakened to help Immortal Venerable Zhili confront Xu Changxing, who drew Zhili into a sealed space and revealed his mastery of world-shaping Daoist arts. Zhili struggled against Xu Changxing’s thunder and snow, which drained his power with life and death laws.

• The old man holding the Compass asked for allies to awaken, and Qifu and True Person Huangmei volunteered before four more Daluo emerged.
• Sevenfold Immortal Venerable and the six awakened Daluo set out to aid Immortal Venerable Zhili, while the remaining immortals stayed asleep.

Xu Changxing caught up with him as the others began awakening, and the chapter left the entire group surrounded by annihilating snowflakes and gathering thunderclouds.

The chapter ended with Wuyou revealing that Taiyi intended to use a Great Dao Core to reshape Heaven and Earth and control its Great Dao.

• Immortal Lord Lanyu said his Great Dao had opened and suspected that something had happened to the seniors sleeping Beyond the Heavens.
• Immortal Lord Jiuxu revealed his aura had strengthened and declared that he would prove the Dao before he lost his chance.

As the Final Tribulation spread, Xu Changxing returned to the Tianyan Sect just as Immortal Lord Muling began his Daluo tribulation, causing the calamity to engulf the sect and its Grotto-Heaven. After witnessing Taiyi Dao Lord’s apparent manipulation and returning to the Immortal Realm, Xu Changxing sat beside the Gate of Samsara and let his aura fade away.

• High Person Sanshou demanded that Daoist Wuchen explain how they could survive the Final Tribulation, and Wuchen said they could only attempt to prove the Dao or wait to die.
• Immortal Lord Muling began his Daluo tribulation, summoning thunderclouds above the Tianyan Sect.
• Xu Changxing tore through space to return, and the laws spilling from the rift merged with the tribulation clouds, making the Final Tribulation surge across the Grotto-Heaven.
• High Person Sanshou blamed Daoist Wuchen for failing to foresee the calamity, while Wuchen realized the Final Tribulation had obscured heaven’s secrets.
