At the border of Konoha~
Amid the lush, towering green trees, brown trunks crisscrossed overhead!
Tsunade, Uchiha Lei, and Uchiha Mikoto had only been out of Konoha for two hours when they encountered ninja watching them!
At Tsunade's warning, Uchiha Lei was eager to try his hand and readily replied:
"Forget the ninjutsu I just learned. These guys aren't worthy of it. You two step aside and watch!"
"Lei, be careful!"
After speaking, Tsunade slapped her left hand onto Uchiha Mikoto's shoulder beside her, formed hand seals instantly with her right hand alone, and flickered over twenty meters away!
Uchiha Mikoto looked somewhat flustered and turned to urge Tsunade:
"Lady Tsunade, if Lei gets into danger, you must save him!"
"Of course. After all, he's my man!"
Tsunade answered firmly, though there was some alarm in her eyes too. Her beautiful eyes remained fixed on Uchiha Lei as she gathered chakra in her feet, ready to rescue him at any moment!
Hearing Uchiha Lei's arrogance, the Amegakure ninja hiding underground around the enormous trees flickered directly into view opposite the three of them!
There were nine of them: two wearing jonin vests, three chunin, and four genin. All wore Amegakure forehead protectors and off-white protective masks over their mouths!
"What an arrogant brat. You four, go deal with him!"
The speaker was a ninja with spiky black hair and a jonin vest. He glanced at the four genin subordinates behind him!
"Yes, sir!"
The four genin, each carrying a yellow umbrella on his back, answered excitedly!
The four genin rapidly formed hand seals with both hands and called out in low voices:
"Earth Release: Underground Fish Projection Technique!"
The four genin burrowed straight down from the tree trunks into the ground and vanished!
Seeing the Underground Fish Projection Technique from the show, Uchiha Lei had already gathered chakra around his body, waiting to fight them. His face was full of excitement as he shouted provocatively:
"Stop sneaking around. Just come at me together!"
Sure enough, the inexperienced Amegakure genin could not stand the provocation. They shot up from underground all around Uchiha Lei and roared:
"**Die, brat!
Ninja Art: Senbon Shower!**"
The four genin formed hand seals together and hurled the umbrellas from their backs above Uchiha Lei's head!
As though they could fly, the four yellow umbrellas spun rapidly into four positions five meters above Lei's head!
Suddenly, the yellow umbrellas spun into blurs and sprayed thin, black senbon like falling rain!
Uchiha Lei's gaze sharpened. He raised both hands, forming hand seals so quickly they left afterimages. Red flames emerged from his right hand, and he bent down, slammed it onto the tree trunk, and called out in a low voice:
"Fire Release: Flame Formation!"
A towering pillar of red fire immediately rose around Uchiha Lei, enveloping him completely!
The pillar of fire burned the four yellow umbrella ninja tools overhead directly to ash!
Likewise, the black senbon around him struck the Flame Formation and were immediately melted and swallowed by the red flames!
Just as the four were stunned~
Whoosh~
Uchiha Lei flickered in front of the four genin. A silver light flashed through the air, and the Kusanagi Sword was already in his right hand!
Clang~
A silver blade flashed past each of the four genin, as swift as lightning!
Squelch~
The four genin looked terrified, their eyes bloodshot. Clutching their bleeding necks with both hands, their mouths forming O shapes, they toppled to the ground with unwillingness in their eyes!
"What a fast sword."
The jonin ahead spoke in surprise, then looked back at the three chunin behind him and instructed quietly:
"Keep your distance. Use ninjutsu to kill this brat!"
"Yes, sir!"
After answering, the three Amegakure chunin immediately used the Body Flicker Technique and vanished from their positions!
Then the three appeared at a safe distance twenty meters from Chiya Rai and exchanged glances!
The three reached into their ninja tool pouches with their right hands, took out five explosive tags each, and threw them in unison toward Uchiha Lei in the middle of the tree trunks!
The corners of Uchiha Lei's mouth rose slightly into a wicked smile. He reached into his ninja pouch with his left hand, took out ten explosive tags, and threw them toward the explosive tags on his left and right!
In the blink of an eye, he flickered away and disappeared without a trace!
Bang, bang, bang...
The roar of exploding explosive tags came from all around, and black smoke shrouded the entire space between the tree trunks!
Meanwhile, Uchiha Lei activated his scarlet Three-Tomoe Sharingan and, in a flash, appeared standing on a tree trunk twenty meters to the left!
The Rain Ninja chunin opposite him wore a wicked smile, already holding more explosive tags in his right hand!
Uchiha Lei met his eyes directly and immediately activated Demonic Illusion: Shackling Stakes Technique!
"Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique!"
Uchiha Lei called out in a low voice, instantly formed hand seals with both hands, puffed out his cheeks, and raised his loosely cupped right hand to his mouth. He forcefully spat out a red fireball, then flickered away!
"Ridiculous. What good will a little fireball do if it hits someone?"
The Amegakure chunin sneered, but when he tried to raise his hands to form hand seals, he found he could not move!
Meanwhile, the Great Fireball opposite him had spun from a little fireball into an enormous red Great Fireball with a radius of five meters, and it was still growing!
Seeing his teammate on the left standing motionless, the Amegakure chunin on the right shouted:
"Run!"
"I can't move! Aah~"
The chunin on the left screamed as the Great Fireball's red flames engulfed him!
Boom...
Then a tremendous explosion rang out where the ninja on the left had been!
Viewed from afar, the Amegakure chunin had long since vanished. Only the black smoke from the explosive tags remained, dispersing in the breeze!
The Amegakure chunin on the right sensed something was very wrong and tried to shout, but Uchiha Lei's scarlet Three-Tomoe Sharingan appeared before his eyes, and he fell under the Shackling Stakes Technique!
Then his entire body became immobile too. He saw Uchiha Lei flicker into view before him, and a silver full moon sliced through the sky in front of him!
He saw his own body fall to the ground, then his vision went black and he lost consciousness!
Uchiha Lei flickered away again, charging toward the last Amegakure chunin to kill him!
The Amegakure chunin at the rear clearly saw his companions die instantly before his eyes. Now his eyes were full of fear, and his whole body trembled uncontrollably!
The breath of death was drawing near. Like a gray reaper, Uchiha Lei appeared before the Amegakure chunin at the rear!
The familiar Shackling Stakes Technique activated again, and the Amegakure chunin could no longer move either, but instinct made him plead loudly:
"Don't kill me! I surren..."
Before he finished speaking, he saw a silver flash appear before his eyes in an instant. Then his vision went black, and he fell to the ground without a sound!
The two Amegakure jonin watched Uchiha Lei approach undetected, then kill their subordinates without the slightest hesitation!
It made their scalps tingle and their entire bodies tremble uncontrollably!
But their dignity as jonin was at stake. They could not surrender, and Uchiha Lei opposite them would not accept their surrender either. They could only fight head-on and kill Lei!
The two Amegakure jonin exchanged a glance, then rapidly moved both hands through a long series of hand seals and called out in low voices:
"Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet Technique!"
Around each of the two Amegakure jonin, a ferocious, ten-meter water dragon head with yellow-glowing eyes instantly formed. Like towering waves, the two water dragon heads descended from the sky toward Uchiha Lei!
"Now this is a little interesting!"
Uchiha Lei's gaze sharpened. He thought nothing of these Water Dragon Bullets, and his hands again formed hand seals in a blur before he called out in a low voice:
"Fire Release: Great Dragon Fire Technique!"
Uchiha Lei's cheeks bulged high. He raised his loosely cupped left hand before his mouth, then forcefully spat out a three-meter-long flame. The flame rapidly split into two enormous, ferocious, fifteen-meter fire dragon heads with red-glowing eyes!
The fire dragon heads gave a low growl~
Though launched later, they struck the Water Dragon Bullets rushing toward them first!
First came a thunderous boom~
Then bubbling and sizzling sounds rang out~
A great quantity of steam rose where the four dragons collided. After a low growl from the opposing water dragons, the two ferocious fire dragons broke through them!
Their force undiminished, the fire dragons continued charging toward the two Amegakure jonin opposite them!
"Use your full strength, or we're done for!"
The other Amegakure jonin, who had long black hair, warned!
"We have no choice!"
The spiky-haired Amegakure jonin replied!
Then the two Amegakure jonin formed hand seals so rapidly their hands left afterimages, and called out in low voices together:
"Water Release: Great Waterfall Technique!"
Vast quantities of water gathered from the surroundings around the two Amegakure jonin. The water churned and gathered into two fifteen-meter-long water tornadoes, scouring the surrounding tree trunks!
Cracking sounds rang out continuously~
The water tornadoes destroyed trees along their path as they crashed toward the incoming Great Dragon Fire,
Sizzling and bubbling sounds rang out continuously~
The water tornadoes and fire dragons collided repeatedly. Water and fire produced vast quantities of steam as they evaporated against one another, forming an enormous, dense fog that covered the surrounding forest!
