Uchiha Lei defeated Roshi, Han, and the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist as the Third Shinobi World War began. After returning to Konoha and joining the Kannabi Bridge mission, Lei captured Pakura and convinced her that Sunagakure would abandon her.

• Uchiha Lei killed Roshi and Han, then defeated six of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist and returned to Konoha with Miru, Suiren, and Kakashi.
• Uchiha Lei reunited with his family and companions in Konoha before Hiruzen Sarutobi called him to discuss the four villages gathering against the Land of Fire.
• Hiruzen Sarutobi assigned Lei to lead Kakashi, Obito, and Kurenai on the Kannabi Bridge mission, where the squad fought Iwagakure ninja and Obito awakened his Two-Tomoe Sharingan.
• Uchiha Lei killed Kakkō and destroyed Kannabi Bridge, then healed Kakashi and learned that Tobi had taken Obito underground to Madara Uchiha.
• Minato Namikaze defeated Fuguki with Might Duy’s help, while Kisame seized Samehada and defected, and Pakura then volunteered to confront Lei as he advanced toward Sunagakure.
• Uchiha Lei captured Pakura with Wood Release and carried her toward the Konoha Camp, then took her to a concealed cave.
• Uchiha Lei used a Sharingan genjutsu to make Pakura believe Sunagakure had abandoned her to Kirigakure, and she eventually yielded to him.

Uchiha Lei defeated enemies on the front lines, built a household with his partners, and married Kushina Uzumaki. After learning that Kushina and Mikoto were pregnant, he went to the coast with Konan, where they met Mei Terumi and began a spar.

• Uchiha Lei reunited with Kakashi Hatake, Kurenai Yuhi, and Pakura, then fought Killer B and A and forced them to retreat after clashing with Gyuki.
• Uchiha Lei brought Karura to the border, defeated Rasa, and later killed Third Raikage A and Han as the wars with Iwagakure and Kumogakure escalated.
• Uchiha Lei killed Shimura Danzō after Rasa and Chiyo’s family overwhelmed him, then told Hiruzen Sarutobi that Danzō had attacked him.
• Uchiha Lei spent time with Yumiko, Miru, Suiren, Kushina Uzumaki, and Hyuga Mie, and Kushina revealed that she was pregnant with his child.
• Uchiha Lei arranged and held a grand wedding with Kushina, promising his other nine partners their own weddings.
• Uchiha Lei defeated Obito Uchiha and used Kotoamatsukami to make him his subordinate, while Obito later ordered Black Zetsu and Tobi to watch Kushina and another Uzumaki.
• Uchiha Lei learned that Mikoto was pregnant, warned Minato Namikaze about an infiltrator targeting the Uzumaki Clan, and asked him to protect Nami Uzumaki.
• Uchiha Lei took Konan to the coast, where they met Mei Terumi and began sparring.
