Qianye Lan looked at Mito Uzumaki, unsure whether to laugh or cry, and put the scroll away.

For a moment, he was deeply moved.

He knew this so-called reward from Konoha was most likely something Mito Uzumaki had requested herself.

When Tsunade bent down, Qianye Lan also saw some things he should not have seen.

His face reddened, and he turned his head away. "I'm here to see Grandma Mito."

But he still could not help fixing his gaze on a certain spot.

Seeing his flushed face, a smile appeared on Tsunade's delicate features. She calmly straightened her clothes and took Qianye Lan to see Mito Uzumaki.

Tsunade entered the room and said, "Grandma Mito, Qianye Lan is here to see you."

Hearing Tsunade's call, Mito Uzumaki came out and replied, "You're already so grown-up, yet you're still so impetuous."

Then she looked at Qianye Lan with a gentle smile and asked, "Have you chosen your ninjutsu?"

Qianye Lan nodded.

Mito Uzumaki checked the time and said, "It's almost lunchtime. Let's eat before going."

Qianye Lan nodded. "Then I'll do as you say, Grandma Mito."

He was not in a hurry either. For a technique as difficult as Flying Thunder God, a few more or fewer hours of study made no fundamental difference.

He might as well fill his stomach first.

Just then, Kushina's bedroom door was pushed open from inside.

With tousled hair and pink pajamas, Kushina rubbed her sleepy eyes as she asked, "Grandma, what's for lunch today?"

Mito Uzumaki looked at Kushina and said with a smile, "Look who's here."
