Background and History
Childhood in the Stans Tribe
Windsor belonged to the Stans Family, descendants of the tribe’s founding leader. Her father, Wilson, was a Sixth-Rank Warrior and a longtime rival of Lucas’s father, Abuda. She grew up training with Lucas and Benny, learning Tai Chi Fist and footwork from Lucas 9 11 16 22.
At eleven, she accompanied Lucas, Benny, and Eric to investigate a corpse-disposal site outside the tribe. The group encountered a Fourth-Level Green-Striped Python despite all four children being only third rank. Windsor was frightened, but helped the injured Lucas stand while Benny and Eric occupied the beast. She also tried to defuse the argument that followed over Lucas’s intention to study human corpses 14 15 16.
Wilson retrieved her and forbade her from playing with Lucas. Windsor briefly refused to obey, then reluctantly left after Lucas reassured her. She later resumed visiting him, joined his lessons on anatomy and cultivation, and openly told her father that she liked Lucas. Her mother helped her understand that Wilson’s anger concealed deep concern for her safety and pride in her achievements 16 17 20.
Courtship and Marriage
Windsor wanted to accompany Lucas when he first left home to gain experience. Lucas refused because of the danger, and her parents persuaded her to remain behind. When he returned, she embraced him in tears and immediately asked whether he had been injured 23 24 39.
After a later reunion, Windsor told Lucas she had reached the seventh level. Recognizing her fear that he would leave her waiting through another long absence, Lucas proposed marriage and promised to take her traveling afterward. Her parents accepted, and the couple married according to tribal customs. Two eighth-level saber-toothed tiger cubs were delivered to Windsor’s family as wedding gifts 49 50.
A month after the wedding, Windsor departed east with Lucas, Anton, and Rihanna. Lucas guided her cultivation during the journey, linking the Tai Chi principles she already knew to the Profound Mystery of Roundness within the Laws of Water 50.
Motherhood and Family Life
During her first pregnancy, Windsor and Lucas settled temporarily in a large tribe, where he opened an ironworking shop. A dispute over his sculpture brought them into conflict with a Feilin Family retainer; Windsor worried about retaliation after Lucas killed the man. They remained in the region because its climate was suitable for childbirth and returning across snowy mountains with an infant would be difficult 58 63.
Windsor gave birth to Clinton, whom Lucas named. The family stayed together through his early childhood before returning to Lucas’s birthplace when Clinton was five 64.
Her cultivation slowed during these years. Once Clinton entered school, Lucas brought Windsor back to their mountain villa to supervise her training. She later joined him and Rihanna in the waterfall cave, where she finally reached the ninth rank 66 79.
Saint-Level Training
After becoming a Saint, Windsor traveled with Rihanna to challenge the Snow Lion King Davis. Her ranged ice attacks initially kept the stronger beast at a distance, but he eventually broke through her shields and knocked her down. Rihanna incapacitated him with a Soul Attack, allowing Windsor to seal him in ice 87 88 90.
Windsor rejected Davis’s attempt to bargain with information about the Fruit of Life, which she already recognized. She secured his submission through an oath requiring him to protect her life and interests, then returned to Lucas with both Davis and new insights into Ice Power 90 91.
Rather than immediately enter seclusion, she remained in the capital to guide the twenty-nine-year-old Clinton toward the Saint realm. Her instruction included regular assessments and sparring, and she accompanied him to announce his eventual breakthrough to Lucas 92 94 95.
Divine Plane Journey
Although Windsor attained deityhood, she worried that her talent and the Ice Pearl’s limited range of profound mysteries would prevent further progress. Lucas discouraged her from abandoning independent cultivation in favor of refining Divine Sparks, suggesting that the clearer laws of the Divine Planes might help her 117.
In the Divine Plane, Windsor formed an Equal Contract with a Saint plant life-form and later took part in managing Qingxuan City. Clinton assumed those duties when she devoted more time to cultivation. Lucas also encouraged her to gain experience through battles against other deities; her first kill there came after she exploited an opening and struck down her opponent with a punch 119 129 130.
She subsequently traveled with Lucas’s Earth Divine Clone and Rui Qingxuan, refining her Tai Chi and Roundness comprehension through repeated battles. Her later voyage across the Sea of Stars and Mist provided the insight needed to advance to God 133 136.
Water Sovereign
After reaching Highgod, Windsor refined a Water Sovereign Spark and became a lesser Sovereign. She later gave birth to Shanli. Unlike Clinton, Shanli was born a Saint because both parents were already Sovereigns 153 154.
Windsor supplied Clinton with a Material Defense Sovereign Artifact and a Sovereign Scroll before he left to spread faith. She also planned to construct her own Divine Plane as an opportunity to comprehend and fuse the Laws of Water 154.
When competition for faith intensified, Lucas asked Windsor and Rihanna to remain in Qingxuan City and flee to a Material Plane if necessary. Later, Windsor joined Lucas, Rihanna, and Zijing in searching for Sovereign’s Emissaries, beginning within her own territory in the Water Divine Plane 156 176.
Appearance
Windsor is described as shy and cute in childhood. As a high-level warrior, she has a well-proportioned figure, while her water-attribute battle qi makes her skin especially soft and smooth 13 59.
- Youthful mannerisms: Frequently blushes or turns away when Lucas teases her or displays affection publicly 13 20 21.
- During pregnancy: Described as having a pronounced maternal glow 59 64.
Personality
Windsor is gentle and affectionate with Lucas, but her shyness does not prevent her from making firm choices. She defies her father over their relationship, openly admits her feelings, and repeatedly insists that she wants to accompany Lucas into danger 16 20 23.
She is more perceptive than Lucas’s teasing description of her as an “airhead” suggests. She recognizes when he is manipulating Benny and later sees through Davis’s attempt to use the Fruit of Life as bargaining leverage 13 90.
Her protective instincts take different forms with her husband and son. She anxiously checks Lucas for injuries after dangerous encounters, while Clinton faces a demanding “tiger mother” who supervises his cultivation and makes him participate in assessments 39 94 103.
Windsor’s determination to improve is partly driven by her desire not to fall farther behind Lucas. She remains conscious of her limitations, acknowledging both her dependence on cultivation treasures and the practical weaknesses of her strongest techniques 111 117.
Abilities and Skills
Elemental Affinities
- Water: High-grade affinity; the foundation of her battle qi, ice techniques, and eventual Sovereign status 21 153.
- Light: Low-grade affinity 21.
- Wind: No affinity; she therefore stops pursuing advanced flute study after learning several simple tunes 130.
Tai Chi and Roundness
Windsor learns Tai Chi Fist, footwork, and fighting techniques from Lucas, later connecting them to the Laws of Water 9 11 50.
- Uses Tai Chi to redirect an opponent’s sword and counter with punches 130.
- Combines refined footwork with Divine Sense to respond calmly to attacks from unexpected directions 133.
- Initially struggles to turn Tai Chi’s defensive movements into effective offense during deity-level combat 130.
- Eventually brings her comprehension of the Profound Mystery of Roundness to its limit 133.
Ice Power
Her ice techniques initially depend heavily on the Ice Pearl. As her comprehension develops, she can also create ice attacks directly through battle qi 83 88 94.
- Ice Blades: Produces barrages to attack, obstruct vision, and delay approaching enemies 87 88.
- Ice constructs: Shapes serpents, dragons, and an Ice Snow Lion for offense or interception 88 94 111.
- Ice Shields: Creates defensive barriers, though hastily formed shields fail against Davis’s close-range assault 90.
- Freezing and slowing: Uses ice power to hinder opponents’ movement 94 130.
- Ice sealing: Encases an incapacitated Davis in ice while leaving his head exposed 90.
- Early limitation: Reliance on the Ice Pearl creates gaps between powerful attacks, leaving her vulnerable if an enemy closes the distance 88.
Absolute Zero
A prepared attack that releases ice power from pieces of ice placed around the target beforehand 111.
- Produces a sudden, concentrated temperature drop.
- Forces Lucas to use Death Divine Power to protect his Saint Domain True Body, causing him to concede their spar.
- Is judged by Lucas to rival a Peak Saint’s attack.
- Requires advance preparation, making it difficult to execute in an actual battle 111.
Archery
Windsor receives archery instruction from Wilson and later uses a bow and arrows forged by Lucas 21 130.
- Brings archery equipment on the expedition that encounters the Green-Striped Python 14 15.
- As a deity, uses a frost-stone bow and prepares ice-powered arrows before engaging an opponent 130.
Cultivation Instruction
Windsor applies Lucas’s earlier teaching and her own Saint-level understanding to Clinton’s training 92.
- Conducts cultivation assessments every three months 94.
- Restricts her battle qi to the ninth rank when sparring with the Ninth-Rank Clinton 94.
- Gives practical corrections after defeating him 94.
