Early the next morning, Sherlock, who was curled up in the warm kotatsu, sleeping groggily, was woken by the incessant ringing of the doorbell.

"Who is it?"

Irritable from being woken up, Sherlock shouted impatiently toward the front door and crawled out of the warm kotatsu, cursing. After shivering, he cursed a little louder.

After dawdling over putting on a set of thick pajamas, Sherlock made his way to the front door, his hair sticking out like a dandelion.

"Who is it?"

"Hello, Mr. Sherlock. We received your application for the fan appreciation event, and we've come to confirm a few things in person."

A steady male voice outside answered Sherlock's question, but it also made an enormous question mark slowly materialize over his head.

?

Wait, were production companies really this quick to respond now? Hadn't he only filled out the application last night? He'd even hidden his age to make sure he passed the screening! Wasn't this a little too efficient?

Sherlock was so shocked that his brain briefly overloaded.

Only after quite a while did Sherlock seem to realize something, and he hurriedly shouted through the front door.

"Wait, wait, wait! Let me tidy up a little!"

With that, he scrambled back into the house, hastily fixing his appearance while frantically stuffing his school uniform into a cabinet, terrified that someone would discover he had lied about his age.

After a flurry of frantic activity, Sherlock changed into a smart suit and combed his hair to look like a grown-up. With an excited heart and trembling hands, he plastered on a slightly sleazy smile and opened his front door.

Then Sherlock saw a white-haired man in sunglasses desperately covering his mouth as he looked at him...

Satoru Gojo!

Fuck!

No matter how he looked at it, the white-haired man before him was one of the people Sherlock least wanted to see, even though he had actually been a Satoru Gojo fan for quite a while before transmigrating.

Seeing Gojo desperately trying to keep the corners of his mouth from turning upward, even an idiot would have realized that this asshole of a cat had played him.

His face darkened, and he immediately tried to shut the front door.

But before Sherlock could shut it completely, Gojo, standing in the doorway, caught the closing door with his hand in an instant.

The instant Gojo's hand touched the door, Sherlock almost suspected that someone had welded it in place. No matter how hard he tried, the door, which should have moved perfectly smoothly, refused to budge.

Of course, Sherlock was stubborn too. Though he had immediately figured out that his strength was absolutely no match for that damned white-haired man outside, he never stopped struggling.

Gojo, meanwhile, watched with an obnoxious grin as Sherlock strained so hard that even the veins in his neck bulged.

The two remained at a standstill for about five minutes before Sherlock finally gave up. Expressionless, he took a step back and looked coldly at Gojo in the doorway, his voice flat and devoid of emotion.

"What do you want?"

"Sherlock. Your father was a Japanese national of Chinese descent, and your mother was Miriko. Both died in a car accident four years ago, leaving you a substantial inheritance.

"And you, a middle school graduate just sixteen years old, signed up for Sensei Kimishima's fan appreciation event at eight thirty-seven last night?"

Blocking Sherlock's doorway, Gojo read the information the Gojo Clan had dug up on his phone and spoke to Sherlock with a chuckle, his face full of teasing amusement. Even after lowering his phone, he obnoxiously added another remark.

"You're still a minor, you know. While Sensei Gojo understands a young man's excitement about youth, this is wrong, you know~"

Watching Gojo squirm coyly like a high school girl, Sherlock took out his phone without a trace of expression.

"Hello, yes, I'd like to report something to the police. Yes, there's a white-haired pervert at my front door, and he's dug up all my personal information. Mm-hmm, the address is XXXXXX.

"Okay, yes, he hasn't entered the house, but he forced my front door open and is standing in the doorway right now. Mm-hmm, he hasn't shown any intention of threatening my physical safety yet, but I suspect he might be after my body or my family's assets..."

Listening to Sherlock's fluent conversation, Gojo, who had only just become a teacher at Jujutsu High, wore a look of utter disbelief, looking for all the world as though he had been hit by his own Unlimited Void.

Did you think that was the end of it?

It wasn't.

Because Sherlock's home was so close to the police station, the sound of sirens reached Gojo's ears before Sherlock had even hung up.

The strongest Jujutsu Sorcerer of the modern age, bearer of the Six Eyes, and current head of the Gojo Clan thus experienced, for the first time in his life, being stuffed into a police car as a suspect, looking utterly bewildered.

Half an hour later...

In the principal's office at Tokyo Metropolitan Jujutsu High, Masamichi Yaga was poking a doll when he received a call from the police station.

"What? He was arrested? Yes, Satoru Gojo is indeed a teacher here. He only just started, so he may not understand the rules yet. All right, I'm very sorry for the trouble. I'll come get him right away."

The instant he hung up, an enormous throbbing vein appeared on Yaga's forehead, and his face went as black as the bottom of a pot. Already resembling a yakuza, Yaga now looked even more like a vicious yakuza thug.

Just then, someone knocked on the door to Yaga's office. Shoko walked in and looked at Yaga, whose face was as black as the bottom of a pot, with a measure of surprise.

"Sensei, did something happen?"

Shoko questioned Yaga with some puzzlement, but there was no curiosity or surprise on her face. After all, only those two scumbags could make Yaga look like that.

"Nothing. Satoru Gojo was taken away by the police for harassing a minor. I'm going to bail him out now. Just leave the documents on the desk. Thanks for your hard work, Shoko."

?

Having offered that explanation with a dark expression, Yaga grabbed the coat draped over his chair, stood up, and headed out the door.

He left Shoko standing there holding the documents as a question mark slowly formed over her head. Only after a long while did she seem to realize something. Then she put the documents on Yaga's desk and quickly took out her phone to share this earth-shattering piece of gossip.

Satoru Gojo had been arrested by the police?

Shoko reckoned she could laugh at him for a whole year over this!
